Very early days I know but would love to talk to others in same situation. This is no. 3 (no. 2 was a mere 1 week fantasy last year) so am keeping this one to myself (and all of you).

Anyone else?

ggglimpopo

Thanks and dont worry, I do exactly the same, dontread things then post, then read and find the answer to my question.

I will be 12 weeks on Thursday (10/6) and as I said I am due on the 23/12/04.

I know what you mean about weight, my DH says I just put on weight as I stopped dieting, but I can assure you I havent put on any weight since last year.

My boobs feel like Jordans, I cant believe I am having to wear horrid bra's again and one to bed, all my loose fitting clothes too have come out (ALREADY).

Thankfully I'm glad I'm nearly 12 weeks as my morning sickness is easing. Altho morning bah, it more like all afternoon and all evening.

hana · 13/06/2004 11:00

my morning sickness (really all day sickness for about a month!) is finally easing up, which makes such a difference. My scan isn't until next week, I'm still quite anxious about it and scared at what it will tell us (last year at the dating scan we were told the fetus was going to die ) and I'm really not ready to believe that everything is ok just yet.
bought some new bras too - but have only gone up one size, I thought for sure I'd be a B cup ( ahem, was a AA.....) but it makes a difference anyways! The drawstring trousers are out too, letting it all hang out!

lilymum · 13/06/2004 13:42

Haven't posted for a while as I've been feeling too awful with sickness, and unbelievably tired (don't think it's age related as I'm 28, but feeling positively geriatric). My mum came for a couple of weeks to help look after me and the girls, and give dh a bit of a break, but she's had to go back to work now, so on my own again. I've lost nearly a stone in weight but managed to eat fish and chips last night, so perhaps I'm turning a corner, and the nausea might begin to abate (11 weeks pg).

BoingBoingTigger · 13/06/2004 17:33

Lilymum - I know how you feel, I cant seem to eat anything at the moment, and when I fancy something and cook it, as soon as I take a mouthful I cant eat it. I asked my MW and she said dont worry it happens to loads of moms, for first 12 weeks, try to eat/drink yogurts, I drink loads of Milkshakes with DS, which again is very good, and for some bizarre reason I can eat Mashed potato. My sickness is easing as I'm nearly 12 weeks.

Hana - I'm sure everything will be ok this time round, I'll keep my fingers crossed, try not to worry as this creates unwanted/unnecessary stress. I havent a clue what my bra size is, last time, they measured me (I am normally a 34D), I was told I was still a 34D, when we tried to put on a 34D, guess what, yep didnt fit, neither did the 36 either, so had to have a 38, to the total disbelief of the woman in Mothercare .

I am getting tired a lot more now, but just glad the sickness is easing, we havent told anyone yet, and yep you've guess it this is an alias name, we will start to tell people after my scan on Fri, maybe wait a week longer to 13 weeks, just cause I had a m/c last time and hated the pity and sympathy that you get.

Well on a brighter note, Ladies enjoy your pregnacy.

Hana, Lilymum & ggglimpopo - what are your actually due dates?????

hana · 13/06/2004 20:27

Christmas Day!!!

BoingBoingTigger · 13/06/2004 23:39

Hana, I thought mine was bad 2 days before, but to be actually due on xmas day.

I am hoping no.2 is like DS, he started on his due date and came 2 hr's into the next day only cause 3rd epidural slowed me down, otherwise he would have been born on due date.

SO I'm hoping no.2 will be the same, as it's my 2nd, and if there are no complications you can actually go home the same day, so here's fingers crossed that I'll be home for xmas

PotPourri · 14/06/2004 15:17

My sister's bday is on Christmas eve and it was always really great. She got joint presents which we were all a bit jealous about, and my mum & dad used to have a party on Christmas eve for her every year. THe other parents loved it as it allowed them to get organised that day!

My date is now the 1 December - and yes, this is the final date (not that it really matters as what baby arrives on the due date anyway?).

I'm really tired too. It's ridiculous, I walk up the stairs and feel like I've run a mile! And I'm 27. Morning sickness was gone for a week or so, and then this hot weather set me right back to square one. I am a bit better today as it is cooler. I am hoping this isn't the sign of things to come this summer!

Stay well everyone

lilymum · 14/06/2004 16:38

My due date according to doctor is 27 December. Previous pregnancies have ended 7 days early, 5 days early and 2 days over, so no pattern really, will just have to wait and see, but the thought of hospital Christmas lunch is enough to get me considering a home birth...

Feeling much perkier today, and am eating absolutely masses of ice-cream and marmite and butter on white bread toast which seems to be keeping the sickness at bay. Can see that I'll soon be putting that stone back on. It's so ironic that I've lost all this weight, something I've been trying to do since dd1 was born, and now I'm going to end up looking like a beached whale all over again.

Good to hear some of you are feeling better.

I agree with you Hana - calling it all day sickness. Anyway who came up with morning sickness - mine was always worse 3pm onwards. Now I only get queasy when hungry or tired so still going to bed no later than 10pm (was as early as 8pm a few weeks ago!).

ggglimpopo - haven't decided on any white yet. Got colour charts - so many whites it has left me confused. Worse still have decided to take carpet up and sand floorboards - myself. I am seriously daunted by the whole thing and consequently have done nothing about anything.

Lilymum - on Monday when it was gorgeous and hot I managed to eat 5 ice lollies and one mini magnum. I also managed to burn my bump. But hey I spent the day on chair reading book (DD in nursery). The list of chores for that day is still lying on kitchen table....

I was born on xmas day hana!

Meeting the midwife on Saturday. Hoping to hear the heatbeat. Very stingy with scans here so I still don't believe it yet.

Very embarrassignly I have been asked by loads of people whether I am pregnant. I look about 5 months not 11 weeks. Oh and blood tests tomorrow. the fun starts.......

fortnight · 16/06/2004 00:53

Can i join in? It's great to hear from so many people due the same time.I am about 15 weeks, due mid December, but my scan isn't till 22/6.This is baby number three for me,and was a bit of a surprise, but we are thrilled now that it's happened. It's so exciting to be going through it all again (except for the morning(and noon and night)sickness, exhaustion,no alcohol,etc.etc!).Still,at least I know what to expect this time...I think!

BoingBoingTigger · 16/06/2004 14:32

Ladies, great to hear from you all.

Jimjams I know what you mean, I'm 12 weeks and I feel like the whole world can see I'm pregnant, I feel about 5 months tooo.

Fortnight - Congrats, I know what you mean about the NO Alcohol, I dont drink much, but miss the occasional 6-7 I used to have, ah well, I ca make up for it after xmas, bah, breast feeding, it'll have to wait, DH can treat me to a Valentines night out, get me sossled

My first scan is today at 2pm, and deep joy the blood test too , I hate those, but really looking forward to the scan .

Told the outlaws and my mother yesterday, outlaws are over the moon, and are coming to cook us xmas dinner yippeeeeee, my mother is going on hols over xmas and new year, so she a bit peeved, kept asking can I change the due date to before the 20th Dec instead of the 23rd, I said hang on I'll have a word , like I have any control over when it comes, duh!!!!!

Ah well both parents will then have 4 grand-children each, keep em going

Jimjams · 16/06/2004 19:32

DS1's LSA has apparently got very excited so I had lots of congratulations today (big meeting at schooltoday about ds1 so lots of people there) bit embarrassing

Finally got round to blood tests today and am seeing midwife tomorrow- she's coming here to do my notes. No scan for ages so I'm hoping she'll hear the heartbeat- I never quite believe it until then......

Jimjams · 16/06/2004 19:33

The LSA knows as she asked me the other day

2 people asked me when I was 7 weeks!

BoingBoingTigger · 16/06/2004 21:19

Well ladies had my scan and I'm now 13 weeks not 12, so my due date is 17/12/04,

But we'll just see.

Jimjams · 16/06/2004 22:00

Yeah I knew I'd seen you as well- on that thread- then found you on here

I have a big report from one of ds1's consultants at home which says "Mrs X is due to have her second baby in a couple of weeks". I'd had him!!!!! Didn't trust the rest of the report then. I was large - but not 9 months pregnant large!

Jimjams · 17/06/2004 19:01

Just had my booking in visit with midwife. Heard the heartbeat. She said sections are normally done at 39 weeks (xmas day!) I'm pleased they leave it a bit later as I think ds1 struggled a bit being born at 38 weeks (elective section). So I'll guess they'll do it between xmas and new year......

Ronniebaby · 18/06/2004 21:28

deeno · 19/06/2004 01:52

Just wanted to say congratulations Ronniebaby. I'd sort of worked it out on msn the other night, but didn't like to say anything, coz realised you were keeping it quiet. (And you thought I was drunk when we were chatting!!!). I was due December last year, so deja-vous for me on this thread.

Really pleased for you. Hope to speak soon.
