I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

hi clwc, i had been on clomid for i think it was 3 months there havent took it frm january... consultant told me to stop as my smears were cumin bk abnormal so had to get a lletz procedure done were they cortorise the top layer of ur cervix and send it away to get checked so it doesnt potiently turn in2 cervical cancer and stuff, but i had it done over 2 weeks ago and still havent heard anythin... no news is gd news. so hopin when the results get bk i can start on clomid again straight away.

wot cycle r u on in ur clomid?
how cum u have been put on it?

Clwc · 06/06/2009 15:46

Ouch. Sounds like a painful procedure. Hope you've recovered.

I nagged my GP to give me Clomid because of PCOS and my rapidly increasing years (just turned 30). She shouldn't really have prescribed it to me because the surgery doesn't have the facilities to monitor anything, so I stopped taking it after 2 months/cycles. I had it beginning of April then beginning of May. Now I'm just waiting for AF to arrive. I'm getting close to CD28, I think. But I stopped keeping track.

Off out shopping with DP now. TTYL xx

stac14 · 06/06/2009 17:15

Hiya lauren I am feeling much better now thanks, the consultant is getting us back in to look at new avenues. How you feeling? You looking forward to moving?

Clwc I ended up having the bottle lol but was a lovely night with dp as we are feeling much more positive since we're going back to see the consultant. Not long till your appointment now eh? Did you have a wee drink last night?

xxxx

folie · 06/06/2009 19:54

Hi stacy,

It s a good thing you are going back to your consultant. Can t you ask to be monitored? like this you will know straight away from cd 11 what is happening and he also can check on cd 15 if your follicles have been released. I think if i wouldn t have been monitored i wouldn t have ovulated, because my follicles were too small, so we finish it up with some injection. You have ovulated last month so you will again with the right dosage. What cd are you on?

Hi clwc,
Thank you very much for the tip of the other thread!!very nice. So are you going back on clomid next month? this is the first and best solution for pcos. Hope you can get monitored. x
hi Askim,
welcome you will find a great support here. Wish you the best of luck x

Hi claire, please keep us posted with ur bw or us. x

Laurenl502 · 06/06/2009 19:56

im feelin grand thanks stac jus wana get bk 2 tryin as soon as possible... yea cant wait to move although really dont hav the funds at the mo to get decorating or anythin but luckly enough it is a turnkey house so its painted cream which will do us for a while.... how many cycles of clomid had claire taken.

clwc wasnt as bad as it sounds, u'd do anythin when u want a baby so much so it had to b done lol...
i have pcos and have been tryin now over 2 years... fell pregnant last year whilst waitin on af to cum to start first round of clomid although had a mc at 11 1/2 weeks and nothin has happened frm then unfortunalty... do u hav any children?

Clwc · 07/06/2009 01:11

Stac, yes. I did have a few rum n cokes last night. It's like water to me now lol.

Hi folie. You're welcome. They keep me entertained even when I'm not in the 2ww

I won't be back on Clomid next month. I do have 5 tabs left, but I wouldn't get the monitoring, as I'm only due back at the FC on 3rd July. They'll probably be a bit miffed at my GP, to say the least. If the FC still don't seem to be taking me seriously (It's been a year since my last appt there), I'll nag them to get me onto Metformin as the first line of attack.

Lauren, I don't have children. As I have told many others, if I can't have children of my own, I'll be very grateful to adopt.

stac14 · 07/06/2009 23:41

Hey ladies
how was your weekend?

clwc My GP gave me clomid before I had seen the consultant and he was fine about it as I was being monitored with blood tests so hopefully yours will be ok too.

lauren are you all organised for the move? I hate decorating, everything is all over the place lol

folie I'm not sure what line of attack he is planning on, there seems to be so many options he can offer but I am glad to be getting the next step

hope your all well xxx

stac14 · 08/06/2009 16:11

hiya ladies
not got consultant till next monday, bit of a downer but I suppose it means I will have the results of cd 28 and 35 bloods
how are you all? xxx

Clwc · 08/06/2009 18:48

Hiya stac. I'm ok today. I think I'm CD29/30, half expecting AF. I've been doing well at not testing It sucks how the cons always keep you waiting, doesn't it. I hope it goes well for you on Monday. xx

BrandyBaby · 09/06/2009 04:45

Hello Ladies

Do you ladies remember me? My last post was march 11th. After I got my period that month I decided that there was no point to continue on this website, because I was no longer going to try and conceive anymore. I totally and completely convinced myself that I could not have children. My husband and I tried for 15 months, we tried clomid, tracking ovulation and monitoring fertility. Nothing worked. NOTHING. I gave up. I focused on my marriage, family, friends, my job and working out. Almost exactly two months later... On may 10th 2009 (mothers day!) I found out I was PREGNANT !!!! Words could never describe the joy and overwhelming feeling that God was smiling down on me!!! I just want to give some hope to other ladies that are trying to conceive. After 17 months of trying and worrying... I have been blessed. I am now 9 weeks pregnant. Good luck to you all... I truly believe the stress of my husband and I trying to conceive affected my body!

stac14 · 09/06/2009 09:52

Hey brandybaby I am soo happy for you and your hubby. Please keep us informed of your progress. Take care

Hope everyone else is well xx

claire001 · 09/06/2009 11:55

Hi Girls,

Just thought id let you no about the worst weekend of my life,

On Friday i had a scan and they said they couldnt a see a heartbeat and that they thought it was an ectopic pregnancy they kept me waiting in a ward for nearly 3 hours and i saw a doctor who done another internal and took more blood. My HCG level was at 4801 on Friday and they said to go back on sunday for some more blood tests as the HCG level should double every 48 hours with a normal pregnancy.

I went back on Sunday and had the blood tests done and the doctor phoned me later that night and said my levels had only risen to 6084 and it was definetly an ectopic and that i had to go in on Monday for another scan and then have a laparoscopy and d and c done to remove the trapped fetus

I went in yesterday with my overnight bag and prepared to have the operation and i had a last scan done and they said that its definetly not an ectopic as they can see the sac in my womb and it has grown 3.5 mm since Friday and they dont think it could be a failing pregnancy as they normally shrink not grow but they still couldnt see a heartbeat so they think my dates are wrong and i am just really early pregnant like 3 to 4 weeks so iv got to wait till next friday to have another scan to hopefully see a heartbeat. XX

Clwc · 09/06/2009 13:03

Hey Stac

Im hoping that everything is ok but just so worried that there not going to able to see a heartbeat, Every yimei get a pain in my syomach im just thinking the worst and it is so exhausting, How is everyone? XX

Clwc · 10/06/2009 11:01

Hello Claire and Stac.

I'm ok. Just about to go out and de-stress by chainsawing some logs

'De-stress' cos I'm CD31/32ish and just got a BFN,and because I have an interview tomorrow (p/t telesales - groan) and don't know what to wear.

I'm sure there are millions of women with the same worries as you, Claire. I'd be just as worried, even if I was told by hundreds of people there is nothing to worry about! I hope you feel a bit more positive in the coming weeks. Try to remember the day of your BFP. xx

Hello Carly. What is Ovulex (obviously I haven't tried it) and are you going to be taking it?

Carly23 · 10/06/2009 12:18

Hi clwc

A friend of mine looked it up on the internet it and im thinking of buying it off internet apprentenly it helps you ovulate, my consultant says i dont ovulate like normal which is why i dont have regular periods.

goodluck with ya interview tomoro.

Carly

stac14 · 10/06/2009 16:32

Hey clwc sorry about bfn hun, I had an interview today and wore the obligatory black trousers and top, think it well but I also have an interview for a uni course tomorrow so heads all over the place I hate interviews lol

Hey carly hows the driving lessons going? I love my car lol. When you starting clomid? Or do you have to wait till you see the consultant?

Hey Claire you will be fine hun I am certain of it but I can understand why you feel like this, its a nerve wracking time but try your best to relax.

Hope your all well xxx

Clwc · 10/06/2009 19:19

Thanks Carly.

Don't worry about the BFN, Stac. I wasn't expecting any other result. It was that 'Step Away' thread's fault. lol. I can't stand interviews either. Probably why I went self-employed.

Laurenl502 · 10/06/2009 21:49

hey claire sorry to hear u hav had a tough few days. but remember to keep positive and not 2 think the worst, have my fingers and toes crossed 4 u xo

stac14 · 10/06/2009 22:52

Hey lauren You must be very busy at the moment with the move. I am good thanks have my college interview tomorrow so trying to get sorted for that, then have my exam for open uni next week so have to get stuck into the revision aarrgghh lol wish it was al over.

clwc did they suggest you tested on the other thread? will af come naturally for you? I'm still waiting for my letter from the consultant for Mondays appointment so dp is stressing cos he needs to get away from work

xxx

Clwc · 11/06/2009 00:37

Hi stac,

They were all giving in to temptation and they kept asking what CD I'm on. When I realised it was after CD 30 (though I can't be sure), I caved and tested. The HPTs I have are cheap Internet ones, mind you, but probably quite accurate. I'll leave it another few days.

I have never taken Provera (or similar) to bring on a period, and Clomid may have had an affect, but I don't know yet. I do feel as though I'll be coming on soon. I'll just have to wait and see.

I hope you get that letter tomorrow. It's good that your DP goes with you. xx

Carly23 · 11/06/2009 12:13

Hey stac

Im doing o.k with my lessons, im just gonna start learning manovers and i got my theory test on 3rd July i got a theory test game for my d.s which is helpful.
I still havent started clomid my consultant has told me once they receive my partners sperm test he will put me on 50mg clomid, my partner done his test and everything is o.k with him we just wait till end off August for next appointment at clinic.

Hows things with you?

Carly

stac14 · 11/06/2009 14:16

All good here thanks ladies, I phoned fc's secretary about appointment and she said the letter was a bit delayed as they are moving into the new building but my app is monday at 2.30 so cant wait. Had my interview for uni think it went well but dont want to get my hopes up. How did your interview go clwc?

Carly the results shoud come back quite quick, does dp go to the clinic to make a deposit? mine had to do it in the house and I had a mad dash to get to the clinic with it. I did my theory test before the hazard perception part was introduced so I was quite lucky got 34/35 so was well chuffed lol xxx
