Hey Stac

I dont no if i have or not, I havent had any blood tests for 2 months so iv been doing it all on my own. I sometimes think i prefer it that way coz you can forget about it a bit coz your not constaintly being reminded what day your on and when you need to have things done. XX

stac14 · 01/06/2009 23:00

Clwc Good luck with your decorating

I went home last night and went out for something to eat with my partner and came home and went in the bath and stuff, At about 10pm i thought i would do a test and OMG!!!!!!!!! IT WAS POSITIVE!!!!!!!

I done another 2 this morning and the same result came up, I have just spoke to my consultant and iv got to go in for a scan on Wednesday next week but she said by looking at my results she thinks im about 6 weeks!!!!!

Im so excited but am also very worried because you hear such horrible stories about the dangers of the first 12 weeks.XX

Hi Claire

Congrats to you, i know you must be over the moon, its such a surreal feeling when you see the test isnt it? I know what you mean about the anxiety in the first 12 weeks, i was the exact same, you just have to relax and take it easy for the next few weeks, you'll find the time flying in, i cant believe im 29 weeks already, just savour every minute of it!

Good luck to the rest of you hopefully you get a positive result soon xx

Clwc · 02/06/2009 13:00

folie · 02/06/2009 18:36

hi girls,

just came back from the RE,i have ovulated from the right ovary but not from the left. The doc gave me a pregnancy test that i have to do the 14 of june. 12 days to go!! it s a killing...really have to keep my mind busy now.

Whose the next one to test?

Clwc · 02/06/2009 20:04

Hello folie.

Congrats on the ov. I thought ovaries take it in turns each month anyway(?). There's another thread I'm on to avoid the high costs of early and incessant testing. They have some good tips to take your mind off the wait.

I still don't really know which CD I'm on, so I won't be testing for a while. I don't think I've ovulated yet though. x

folie · 02/06/2009 21:02

Hi Clwc,

Apparently with clomid you can ovulate from both side. Can you tell me what the other thread?really need to take my mind off the wait.

Do you have bw done every month to check ur ovulation? do you use an opk? I really hope you have or you will O this month!!lot s of baby dust xxx

stac14 · 02/06/2009 21:54

Hey folie
thats fab that you have ov'd this month do you get a hcg shot? I am patiently waiting to hear if I have ov'd heres hoping I have lol

Hey clwc how have you been?

Just want to say again how chuffed I am for you claire can't wait till its me

xxxx

Clwc · 03/06/2009 09:12

Hello folie. This should take you to the other thread. They are/have been all in the same boat and are very supportive.

I didn't take my 3rd round of Clomid this month because I wasn't being monitored, and I don't use OPKs. I'm just letting nature take its course for now. My next clinic appointment is in July. We'll see what they say then.

Hello stac. I'm good thanks. Just off for a busy day in the sunshine. It's still really hot here. Looks like it'll get to 24 degrees again. I'm not really looking forward to it, but have to earn a bit more dough.

I'm starting to get weird pains again. Perhaps they are signs of ov, but DP and I haven't BD for at least a week (he hurt his mister. lol tmi), so I don't think I'll be getting a BFP this month.

What CD are you? xx

stac14 · 03/06/2009 09:37

Hi clwc
I am on CD 27 but dont think I have ov'd this month cos the doc hasnt rang me, but have got cd 28 bloods tomorrow then I will start the provera. To be honest a bit fed up this month.
Its a bit cooler here today, went down to about 17 but it looks set to get warmer, knowing our weather it will rain lol

What CD are you? The list seems to have disappeared on both threads lol xxx

Clwc · 03/06/2009 18:58

I don't know which CD I am. I lost count. Is it necessary to start Provera on CD28? That seems really early. You won't know if your cycle has changed to 35 days, or something, because of the Clomid, or even regulated because of your weight loss!

I bet the list wasn't updated on the other thread because people got sick of seeing graduates, lol. Some days you feel annoyed by them and some days you're over the moon for them. I'm still really happy for Claire, so I'll try to keep feeling like that, especially as this thread is meant for good news xx

stac14 · 04/06/2009 11:19

Hey clwc you might be right, I suppose I am just anxious to get started again lol. Will see the nurse this afternoon. I know what you mean about grads it can be frustrating, I am really chuffed for claire as I know how much she has struggled. I had a look at the other thread your on 'step away' looks like fun, i havent joined yet as I don't overly test although I have been dying to this month, feck knows why lol What you been up to recently? My ds is off school today cos of the voting so I am trying to entertain him while writing a personal learning statement for uni, wow who says women ant multi-task xxx

stac14 · 04/06/2009 17:23

Hey ladies
I just wanted to let you know that my cd21 bloods showed no ovulation, not surprised just gutted as usual. Phoned consultant for some advice and surprise surprise he isnt in till tomorrow.

How are you all? xxx

Clwc · 05/06/2009 00:16

Hiya stac

I went out gardening again today. My problem at the moment is lack of stamina. I can't keep going long enough to earn any decent money. I guess I can only try my best, eh?

I've also been applying for part-time office jobs, with the hope of office work for 2 or 3 days a week, then gardening the rest. The problem is the vast amount of other applicants, and that I might be too qualified (degree and languages) for those employers to take my application seriously. They probably think I'd only be there for 3 weeks then get bored.

I told the girls on the other thread that I tested BFN today. I tested because of these weird twitches (down there) that I've been getting. I knew it would be BFN though; partly because of last month's crazy AF, and partly because DP and I haven't been at it very much at all - maybe twice in the last fortnight.

Gosh. That was a long post. It's good to get it all out, isn't it? xx

Askim · 05/06/2009 03:28

i have been trying to get preg for 2 years and no joy, went to fertility clinic before giving me the clomid the dr done a scan and it showed i was ovulating, the doc said that she thinks i should have no prob getting preg on clomid, few days after that appointment i took my period, i didnt start the clomid then becos i was going on holiday and didnt no what side effects i would get when taking them so i left it until i got home. On tuesay there i took my period ive been told to star the clomid on the 1st day of my period until day 5, ive got a scan next friday to make sure im ovulating and not producing to many eggs, i really hope its good news becos we really want a baby so much. Hello all. I hope you're all well. I got back from the pub 20 mins ago (I go nearly every with my Mum), hence the lateness.

What procedure did you have, Lauren?

Good to hear your news, stac. I wonder what it feels like to be taken seriously Was it just the one glass of wine you had after? Hehe. xx

Clwc · 06/06/2009 00:56

*'nearly every Friday with my Mum', it should have said.
