Clomid success stories please

Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

hi rugama,

i think your progesterone levels are ng/dl instead of ng/ml. it depends on the laboratory. But check anyway... i now how to convert the unit. i know that if have over 10ng/ml means you ovulated, and if you have more than 15, then it s great. So stacy, your level was very good last month, you are on the good road!!!

Just started my treatment last night, so far so good! let s see if it stays this way.

I've had a bit of a manic week this week. It was my 30th on Monday, so I've been really enjoying myself out and about, eating loads of nice stuff, and going places I've never been. It's been fab. Saturday will be the big party. Can it get much better than this?...

On a slightly lower note, I think I may just have had a MC. I'm hoping it was just the freakiest visit from AF ever, but so many things suggest otherwise. All HPTs were -ve, but this has happened to me before. Twice. The spotting, then the heavy bleeding, passing tissue, cramps, everything. I hope the doctors are right, and I'm just over-reacting to heavy menses, but they don't know my body as well I do.

I don't think I'll be taking Clomid again for a very long time

Right, bed time. Lots to do tomorrow in preparation for Saturday xx

Hi Claire,

I think I miscarried very early, but I can't be sure. The bleeding stopped by Tuesday evening, so there's no need to go to the doctor (to arrange D&C). They wouldn't be able to clarify anyway. It's too late for testing.

About 30 - 35 people are going to my party. We're having a BBQ and I've arranged entertainment - Not a stripper!! - I've booked a magician and some Irish dancers It's gonna be grrrrrreat.

Hi rugama,

The convertion is 181ng/dl = 1,81ng/ml which means no ovulation. Ovulation occur over 3,5 but doctor want to see at least 10ng/ml. Did your doctor confirm ovulation in january?
In revanche 916ng/dl which is 9,16ng/ml means you have ovulated but if you get over 10 it will be better.
So don t worry about the number because obviously you are on the good road increasing your progesterone level.

Need a bit of advice,All day today iv been having ovulation like pains but im to far in my cycle to be ovulating (day 29) and im not due on till next thursday, Anyone no what this could be? XX

My doctor said I did ovulate back in january... that is interesting... why do they want the progesterone to be at 10 ... I really am starting to get more cramps now... I was hoping on a higher note this month but no luck yet... I hope all of you have a great long weekend....

They want it to be at 10 because under means unmature eggs or not such good quality. Anyway your month result it s about 10, so finger crossed for this month. Hope you get a bfp. x

Clwc Happy belated birthday hun, I'm 30 in August not sure of plans yet thought depends on bfp. Soz to hear about m/c your doc may be right though as my af is like this since starting clomid, try to think positive chick. Hope you have a great partyxxx

Claire It may just be af coming early, you can get pain during implantation but this tends to be about a week after ovulation.

folie thanks for info I never understand the blood results, have pains and cramping today so think I may be oving just now.

I was just wondering if you ov on clomid is it guaranteed that you will continue to ov while on it? DP got told his swimmers are satisfactory, not actually spoke to doc yet but absolutely chuffed xxx

Yeah I have been, really heavy and lots of clots sorry if tmi, think the clomid can do stuff to you, if it was all bfn its probably just a bad period, hope you r ok hun xxx

I'm OK. And it's better if I hope it was just a nasty period, rather than anything else. It stopped on Tuesday, but then there was spotting yesterday. If it is Clomid, it's damn scary stuff!! Also glad I'm not the only one putting up with this... Misery loves company! lol. xx

No af yet, not really sure what it was, I did a test on Saturday morning and it was negative, should come on sometime around Thursday so just have to wait for that now,

We had a wee garden party on Friday as the weather was great here, Sunday went to sister in laws for dinner, other than that not much. What about you?

Clwc It will be here before you know it, I hate having to wait for appointments, I have CD21 bloods on Thursday but to be honest I am dreading it as I'm not sure if I have ov'd this month, maybe I am just being paranoid lol

clwc I'm overweight but my consultant was just happy that I am making an effort to loose weight, but with pcos its soo hard as you know. But I know exactly what you mean, I have been trying so hard to loose weight that I wish I would hurry up and get pregnant so I can put the weight on for a good reason lol xxxx
