Placenta previa - 36 weeks and in hospital!

Hi, it's been suggested that I start a new thread on this!!! Am now 36 weeks preg and been in hospital since 34+4 after first bleed with pp. They aren't apparently massive bleeds by previa standards but still scary!!! First one came in from home via ambulance in middle of night, second was after an ultrasound whilst in hospital and third was the other night again whilst in hospital. Be interested to hear of other peoples experiences on this. It's so frightening isn't it! It's when it first starts to bleed that it's frightening, nit knowing how much. Staff in hospital are being really good, especially when I bleed.

Been told that they want mr to stay in hospital till c section at 39 weeks, however this depends on how much I bleed and how I and baby am. Reason for 39 is the clinical NICE guidelines for paediatrics.

Am so up and down emotionally, one min getting head round it, next crying loads. Have a little girl 4.5 years. Her delivery was fine. Had SPd then and still do have now but having the Bowen technique for that this time, privately with a midwife, and it seems to be helping the Spd a little.,

Any tips on how you coped with your pps. Find it so difficult at times. Thanks for all support xx

I had my gyne ap yesterday! The good thing is she doesn't think it's cancer! But a retaking the tests to make sure! I'm having another scan, and we'll take it from there! She thinks...... I have adhesions from my scar which has stuck my cyst to it which is why it's so painful! So ow I can breathe!! But has made me realise how precious every second with my family is! Make the most of every enjoyable moment! I'll keep you informed!

Well, today I'm having me bushes trimmed!! Litterally!! Chain saws and everything!! My gardens a complete mess but it's well worth the effort!!! [shocked]

poor stanley has a terrible cold & gammy eyes he looks terrible, they are having their photos done on sat so i hope he improves by then !

i feellike im on a roundabout at the mo & i want 2 get off !!! its just a conveyer belt, no time 4 anything & to enjoy life & i am so tired ! i could sleep 4 a week, think its my diet. plus to top it off, i lost no weight last week, as i drank wine sat night & ate cookies sunday , so very annoyed, i dont even look like ive lost 9lb, my stomach is literally hanging , u can actually lift it up, it is bad, im wondering if it will go, surgery may b the only way?

cancelled my day today so just staying home as stanley poorly & i have a stinking cold too. will try & watch amanda holden too |!

well it seems after the amanda holden interview she did have placenta accreeeta just like me. & aprart from the me having the hemorage before the op & hers was mid op. we had the same thing. although not sure if she had a hysterectomy, she hasnt said, but then againi dont tell people that either !

I read about it though in the paper, very similar to you! I think she did have a hysterectomy, from what I can remember reading. I think with accreeta you have too??

My bushes are very neat and tidy yes!! Your right!! But still, it's good to have a deforest every now and again!!! :)

I love lazy days when you feel under the weather!! You need to schedule at least one day a week for rest deo, you have far too much on and it'll get on top of you!!

Do boys shout alot??? Ewan shouts all the time!! Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it bloody well hurts my ears!! I think it's his new trick! He's so frustrated and wants to crawl!

ha ha ha, i dont know if boys shout a lot cause i havent experienced girls !!! they scream i think !!!! they can b very noisy, stanley went thru a very noisy phase but he doesnt do it so much now. my poor sausage he looks so sad today with his gammy eyes

Ewan doesn't have teeth yet! Which is strange as both girls had them early! Harriet 4 months and Emily 5 months! But doesn't seem to effect his eating, he's on good sized chunks and gums them to death!
Pottery painting's fun,no matter what the age! It's something that can be adapted for any age! I've booked Emily's party at the leisure centre, she wants a swimming party!

Am doing ok just coughing lots but feeling better from the cold bug. Been wedding dress shopping with sister today. Us two and my mum. Found her a dress which is just gorgeous!!!! Also had afternoon tea and glass of champers!!!! Now just feeding little one and settling in for tv night!!! Ballet dress rehearsal for little girl tomorrow too! What you two up to? Xx

Hi girls , lovely sunny day , photos went really well , Stanley beamed thru every one , he was best ! Considering he iis still poorly & I had to wake him up. I asked her to do one of all their feet , it looked brilliant , can't wait to get them back . Not a lot planned this weekend , hubby is less than co operative at mo , say no more ! Stanley still not great either . Got my welcome pack from ds2 new school today , sooooo excited . Can't wait to get that uniform , they have 2 have their names embroidered on all kit etc ! How poshhh.

Cmm, wedding dress shopping! Never done it, but would love to try it! It sounds fantastic!! Girls, giggling, champagne and princess dresses! What more could a girl want!!! How did the ballet rehearsal go? Wish my girls still did ballet! They were so good at it then didn't want to go anymore!! They do gymnastics now!

So, the weekends was hectic and bbq's! I took the girls to gulivers kingdom in Matlock bath and Ewan had a daddy day at the Trafford centre shopping for my birthday which is on Friday! :) can't wait! Was so lovely to have a day out with the girlies and no pushchair! But it was hillarious! Some of the lady pirates were a little too much for a children's theme park!! Deo, you've seen the pics! Ewan was I'll last week too, so noooooo sleep walking zombie mummy! He's still not 100% and is soooooo clingy! The girls have nasty colds too, so kept Emily off today. Then ended up in a&e again tonight with Harriet, a very slight green stick fracture again but nothing serious! Bloody trampolines!!
Me and hubby are arguing over a holiday or extension! I want the extension and he wants to get away for two weeks! He refuses to camp or use the caravan we have, he wants Disney princesses or white sand Bahamas ! I just want a new kitchen! :(

Well, we still haven't dropped that 10pm feed! Especially since he's been I'll and it's been hot! He's drinking tons since the warm weather! I'm sure when he's ready like the night feed, he'll let us know!
I bought Ewan some short rompers too, there the only thing that will fit him round the waist! He's in 1-1 1/2 yrs and they just fit him! Porker!! Loves mummy's cooking!!! He had Spanish chorizo chicken tonight and loved it!!

mmmm spanish chrizio chicken , that sound delish, reciepe please ! stanleys still on basic stuff, just intro dairy now, taking it slowly with prem tummy!, stanleys down to 4oz at 10pm now, but he drinks more in the am now which is good, he has 4oz, still not giving him brekky, it just havent time, must start doing sarnies the night before . starting to feel a little better today, took stanley to docs & he has another chest infection ;-(

think your hubby is my dream man.....wanting 2 weeks in the sun! i luv sunny hols as u know, but not my hubbys fav at all, its hard deciding, we r not going abroad as u know, butwe hope to do garage conversion if all goes well business wise, things r quiet at mo, people being cautious etc. just ordered tickets to warwick castle for next week so hope they come in time.
ballet/gym all sounds fabo to me !!!! better than footy
