Fanjo Warriors, here we are

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 21:58

I could have her. I was hard once, got belts and everyfink.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 21:59

I'll consult my packed social schedule Grin

I'm not bad. Cold right now, am determined no heating till October.

Orbit Buttonhole is turning to violence - he bopped DS1 on the head the other day with a wooden sword. He still can't speak beyond Mamamama and Dadadada and Look! and Uh-oh, but he can still squeal for Britain.

DS1 just started school, thank god we finish half days this week and go full time from Monday.

And I still hate my job, although marginally less than a month ago.

Sorry to see/hear your news, Doughnut.

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:00

WFH It wasn't my lovely booze. I do have some gin, tepid tonic water and a very old lime though.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 22:02

hmmmmm. sounds not so attractive, but you're hard so I'd better not offend you. could i have straight gin?

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:02

We have just started half days with Ellen. What i'm really looking forward to though is when she goes full time and Holly is on half days so I am yo-yoing back and forth to school all day. What larks.

RespectTheDoughnut · 29/09/2010 22:02

Ooh, belts in what?

I'm cold here, too - sticking to the October rule, so I'm cuddled up with blankets all the time.

Was DS1 asking for it? Orbit never seemed the sort to be mindlessly violent Grin

& meh, news schmews. It is what it is. It has plenty of positives as well. But thank you for the concern x

BoffinMum · 29/09/2010 22:06

Felix's latest word is Buggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbugger

Which apparently means

"bottle"

Grin
WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 22:07

On some level, I think 4 year old boys are always in need of being bopped on the head Grin

but no, he wasn't really at that particular moment. But Orbit has discovered the very great joy that anyone with older siblings will remember - the fun that it is to wind up your older brother/sister. His repertoire includes standing directly in front of the telly, switching the telly off repeatedly, bopping DS1, and taking the most essential part of whatever game DS1 is playing and running away with it, then screaming blue murder if DS1 tries to take it back.

I feel like a referee.

BoffinMum · 29/09/2010 22:08

I like it when we do the picture hyperlinks
And post more than once a week each.

I am glad I haven't had to get pg again to experience the joy that is our PN thread in its full glory once again. Grin Grin

RespectTheDoughnut · 29/09/2010 22:10

In the absence of an older sibling, George does those things to me Hmm

Boff, I bet people give you some good looks with that one Grin & yes, life wouldn't be looking so good for me right now if I was pregnant [wide-eyed with horror at the thought]

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:10

American Kickboxing. I have up to purple belt. I never got round to doing the brown grading(then black) because I started spending all my spare time seeing the chap at work and then I was knocked up. I will go back to it one day.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 22:11

tsk Puzzle. you could have been a contender.

RespectTheDoughnut · 29/09/2010 22:12

Hahahaha Grin

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:12
Grin
WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 22:13

I'm so cold I have to go to bed now before my toes drop off. DP in Germany until Friday, so I might well be back tomorrow night. With gin. Grin

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 29/09/2010 22:14

Night FWs!

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:14

You can join me, Puzzle Wink

PuzzleRocks · 29/09/2010 22:20

Brilliant. I have hairy legs, hope you don't mind.

I really am going up now, but just saw this. It made me laugh, Anyfucker especially.

RespectTheDoughnut · 29/09/2010 22:23

I love AF. We've been bullying stupid men all night. & mine are quite hairy too. Try not to velcro yourself to me.

Night x

Guimauve · 30/09/2010 17:16

Hi Schultes! I've been, y'know, around. Back at work 4 days a week these days which os surprisingly okay. I have been MN lurking a little, but I am determined to post more often. I've not caught up properly yet {wrist slap] but I take it you've moved house? Congratulations! Is it everything you were looking for?

Hey Boff, how's your penis doing?

H also has very few words. Daddy, oh dear and variations on 'oh badger'/ 'oh bother'/ 'oh bottle'/ 'oh buddleja', which my parents believe to be 'Oh Bugger'. Who can have taught him that? Oh, and a very occasional 'poon.

Oh, I noticed congratulations are due to GingerSarah! How exciting! Have we any other buns baking?

Ah, this thread is like your favourite comfy old slipper!

Guimauve · 30/09/2010 17:16

Not that I'm calling you a bunch of old slippers BlushGrin

ZuluWarrior · 30/09/2010 19:42

Oh, it's just like the old days!

Here is what's happening in the world of me :

The marathon is done. Hooray! Particularly as I was reluctantly persuaded into it by DH and then he got injured so I ended up doing it myself Angry. It was in Berlin which was particularly cool.

I'm working FT for another couple of months. I hardly see ToddlerWarrior during the week and it's not nice.

DH, having been laid off, is going self-employed. Not sure what this means for my part-time working in the future. May well be OK.

TW is hilarious. Loads of words including tractor, car, bus, copter, toast, more, ta, ta, ta, ta, TA, TA, TA!! while pointing at what he wants. And generally cuddly and fun.

Nice to see so much of you all. Hope I don't kill the thread again Blush.

xx

ZuluWarrior · 30/09/2010 19:42

Gui, I smell a bit like a slipper.
