Surprise- re starting school a year early due to prematurity. Did he struggle at all. I'm worried about dd. Shes was due in october and was born 13 weeks early in august pushing her up a year. shes caught up well but is definitely at the immature end for her age which on top of being the youngest in her year... I'm really worried. Shes supposed to start school in september but is slightly 'younger' than her best friend who is an october baby so a school year younger.

I am currently in Paris in a truly quite awful hotel colleagues booked me into. AIBU to expect that, when I point out that the blanket is covered with other people's hairs to a point where it would be a forensic nightmare to analyse, and request a clean one in my nicest French, that they give me a clean one AND NOT TAKE ONE COVERED IN SPERM OFF ANOTHER BED FROM ANOTHER ROOM???? FFS!!!

I made a big fuss (in French, I am proud to say, although being a nice girl I did not know the French for sperm), and they have given me two brand new blankets fresh out the packet.

Ha! Now that wasn't so difficult, STUPID HOTEL PEOPLE, was it??

I did phone DH in a bit of a flap because normally I would just flounce off and go to another hotel but it's pretty seedy around here so I needed advice. But his response was to share a bed with my (male) colleague if mine was too filthy.
