Oh dear CSWS - You really don't need any extra hassle at the moment do you. I imagine it's really draining.

Aw, cute 50ft. Did you have to make him a cracker costume?

Really hope you start to feel better for your fun day tomorrow Myjob.

I'm feeling really drained and rubbish at the moment. I bought some florodix in case I'm anemic but I really need to start looking after myself more. Anyhow, I'm off to bed. Nighty night.

Right I said....

Star - My mum was my first choice but unfortunately she is in London for a directors meeting (she is director of IT for her company) so is unable to come. The food suggestion is a good one, I'll give it a go.

CSWS - She'll settle down soon enough, DS was very subdued when we told him about M (after the crying fit about her stealing his cereal), but I agree it really is the last thing you need at the moment. Hope your gorgeous D is feeling better soon. I seem to be lucky with M, when she's ill, she sleeps more!

Aubergenie - I didn't need to make a costume, he just needed to take in some bright clothes so he took in a stripy jumper and some star print shorts, both red. I have a feeling he is going to be on first as he has been singing "It's a cracker, it's a cracker, it's a Christmas, Christmas cracker of a show" which would suggest....intro.

50ft - Well at least if your ds is first on, you've got more chance of being able to see him. Hopefully M will be able to sit still at the beginning. Good idea of Star's to bring food. Enjoy!

I still haven't been able to find Humzingers near me. They've extended and changed our local Morrisson's round completely so no one can find anything, including the staff. I hate going there as it's just full of people wandering round getting more and more bad tempered.

Hope you managed some decent sleep last night CSWS.

Only three days of school left (but so much to do before I finish. Arghhh.)!

I found humzingers in tesco last time. They are yummy. I think I ate most of the box myself , though Q enjoyed them when he could get his hands on them as well.

Star - I end up eating all the 'red' ones yum yum yum. I certainly don't feel disappointed when M doesn't want to finish her Humzinger.

Gah, posted too quickly.....

I asked ds when he was 'on' in his concert and he said he was on second. Excellent said I, he then added that the crackers were the last to come on stage and they did their song at the end. He meant he was the second cracker to walk on the stage. Hrumph! I'm going to have to try and control Miss Pickle for the whole thing! It's not going to be easy now she's walking.

Morning ladies.

Antibiotics for the sinus's ladies. Come on get down the docs.

Myjob there is a running thread somewhere on here. Sounds like you could read through and get some inspiration. It is all for those types who have never run before.

CSWS. Is it best to try and ignore the bad behaviour from DD? it is probably her reacting to the knowledge that she is going to the bottom of an even bigger pile now. DD1 was the same and she was 8!!! DD2 turned into a monster, which is only really now slinking back to where ever it came from.

Pistachio, I have all sympathy for you. I was out on Saturday night. With grownups and everything. I drank lots of beer and even did a shot of green crap. Sunday was interesting.

Why did I click the link? Now I have wind the bloody bobbin up going around in my head.

I am quite happy for everyone to come to my house after Christmas. I understand that for some it is a long way. But we could go along the sea front if sunny and back to mine for lunch/tea.
Really busy week in the ronshar house.
I am going to Miley Cyrus tonight with DD1. She doesnt know anything about it so will be a big scream in the car when we tell.
I am going to see Depeche Mode on Wednesday as well. Both concerts are at the O2. So lots of travel on the M25.
As well as two school xmas parties and a Nativity and a head teacher assembly x2. Somewhere I may get to have lunch

My sinuses are pretty much back to normal now. I try and leave it to run it's course rather than take antibs as I get thrush everywhere you can get thrush when I take antibs. PLus my gut is disrupted enough without killing all the bacteria in it too. Sinus infection is a self-limiting infection is it not?

I got my SS present this morning and think I know who it must be from. Surely only one of us is that organised.....

Ronshar your schedule sounds so busy! You'll be happy when it's over

Ok party at Ronshar's house for oct 08 babies in January. Which weekend? And sat or sun? How long did it take you to get to bluewater ronshar?

Report
ronshar · 14/12/2009 10:36

Tis true, however if you are getting frequently recurring infection then it is likely that you have a pool of infected mucus which is deep in your cavity and only antib's will shift it. I speak from hard experience. I remember not being able to get of the sofa because I thought my head was going to explode. Ouch.

SS already, blimey!

Ekka, did your DH have the pig flu jab in the end? If so was he all ok after?

Star it takes me about one hour to get to Bluewater. Which route did you take to get to West Witterings when you went in the summer? I ask because it is not far from where I am.
I am bascically at the bottom of the A24, quite literally as the roundabout is at the end of my road. If that helps people with directions/journey times etc.
I can do every Sunday. Every Sat except 30th as DD2 has a Pink & Sparkly disco at Rainbows!!

How delightful Ronshar! I reckon I have probably got hideous infected crap in my sinuses. The pain from this infection was pretty bad and at one point I thought my sinus had exploded. I sneezed and it was AGONY plus a felt a load of "stuff" pour down the back of my throat (yum). I also had referred pain in my teeth this time! Hurrah! I'll get antibs next time I get an infection. It will ruin my Christmas if I have oral thrush and terrible gut rot! So, I can rule you out as my SS gifter eh Ronshar?

Star - I thought we were all going to say what we got and then have a guess at the gifter. I think I know mine already.....

I would be up for going to Ronshar's house! I can make cakes.....

Must go, M is tearing cheques out of DH's cheque book! Heh heh heh!

50ft. It could be a double bluff.
I meant to say that since having children I cry at everything. Anything sad on TV. Anything really happy on TV. Doesnt take much.
We watched some of the sports personality of the year last night and I cried at the old lady who won unsung hero award!!!

Aw bless you, I laughed because she took so long to get up to the stage they had to re-start the music. I nearly cried when Bradley and Stacey got back together in Eastenders. But DH is the biggest softy I know, he cried, actually cried a few years ago when Alfie was leaving Eastenders at Christmas. He also cried when one of his mates got married, at the service and at the speeches.

I cry about everything too ronshar. Since conceiving really.

oh good idea to say what we got and then guess the gifter Mine will be obvious.

West Witterings took us just a bit over an hour to get to. We did go on the A24 for some of it I think Yay! Not too far
