Loopy - so glad that your meet with the MW went well. She sounds rather fab!

Day 8 of potty training and still going really really well. I no longer have to ask if she needs the potty - she tells ME when she needs to go. We've also not had an accident since Thursday night too so i'm really proud of her for doing so well.

I guess pre-school on Tuesday and the creche on wednesday will be the ultimate tests, but i'm sure she'll be fine.

Still having the potty/bath issues but yesterday when she said she wanted the potty, she was actually on and off of it for half an hour, but actually doing poos every time! I didn't think one little bum could produce so much poo!!

LOM - hope you get you elective. I guess if you could book yourself in, it would leave you free to not worry about it and enjoy your pg fully.

Hi Sparkly - good to hear Callum's doing well, I sympathise with you on the sleep front though.

LOM - sounds like you've been very busy - hope everything went well today.

Loopy - I'm glad your meeting with the MW went well, she sounds very supportive which is just what you want from a midwife isn't it?!

RG - I think Ellie is doing very well with her potty, William is nowhere near it yet, every time I offer him a sit on it he screams 'no potty!', so I'm getting the hint he doesn't want to!

Hi Greedy!

William had his appt with paediatrician today and guess what, he is not too short at all. The doctor was lovely, very sensible, said brithweight often has little bearing on a child's size and growth and to look at the bigger picture, which is what we had suggested to HV. She did a full developmental check which was very thorough and it was nice to see how well he is doing - though he's not so good at listening apparently! Despite his stinking cold he did everything she asked him to do, and more so she was happy to discharge him.

It was my birthday yesterday and although I had a full day's teaching, break duty and an utterly pointless meeting, it was a nice day and I came home to find the house filled with balloons and banners which was a nice surprise. I got some money so I am looking forward to treating myself to a new dress!

I want to TTC after Christmas. You guys are making me broody!!!

RGPargy · 28/04/2010 22:56

Great news for you both, LOM and Febes!!

DD had her first day at nursery yesterday and even though she was very tired a bit bewildered, she still managed to ask to use the potty while she was there! This morning i took her to the creche at the gym and again, she asked to use the potty. Clever girl!! On both occasions i had taken in her own potty just for familiarity etc.

Nothing else whatsoever exciting to report!

Hope everyone is well and happy!

awww how lovely Loopy!

littleoldme · 06/05/2010 01:07

Bless the Loopy !

T's reactions so far have included:
" No Mummy and baby, Mummy and Thomas" and
" We will cuddle the abay Mummy, then you will put it away." Mmmmm one cute little blonde punter is in for a shock.

The house sale and purchase seem to going through with unsettling ease. It'll be good to be in for the Summer and have T settled before the small usuper comes along.

None of us voted in my house!

DD has been a complete PITA to get to sleep lately - ever since she's been out of nappies during the day, in fact! She wears a pull up at night but as soon as she gets in to bed she says she wants a wee or a poo and off we go to the loo, then back to bed and then out to the loo again. This normally happens for at least 30 mins (although she does produce something every time. Then it's the crying when i go downstairs etc. Last night she fell asleep at around 9.30pm () and we didn't eat til 9.50pm!!! Not that it would have made a difference anyway, by the results today!!

Exactly Loopy! There's no way i could possibly say no to her going to the loo!! Oh well, i'm sure it'll pass. I seem to remember her being a PITA at bed time when she hit another milestone about 6 months or so ago. It'll pass, i'm sure.

Just had to come on and say that A has had a morning in knickers and has done 2 pees in the potty and 1 accident so not too bad. I put her in pull ups for her nap though.

Its DS's 1st birthday next weekend but today was my due date. I can't believe how fast this past year has gone.

She is going really good. Only 2 accidents and she has just taken herself to the potty whenever she has needed to go. I might try her nap in knickers tomorrow as she didn't do a wee during her nap today. What do you guys do??
