Hi everyone. Hope all is well.

Loopy - sounds idyllic. My mothers' day treat was a lie unitl 10.30 AND an afternoon nap. Amazing!

RG - I think outfits and stuff sell quite well on ebay but bundles seem to go for buttons. At least, that's what I found when I was buying stuff for Tom.

Not an awful to report here, we're still getting the house ready to sell. Ds has been having some fabulous tantrums for reasons such as, " Daddy can't get the moon down." " Weetabix the wrong way round" and my own personal fave , "Want to go in a spaceship"

Hi all. Off sick and rather bored, feeling guilty that Adam is at childminder's whilst I am at home!

LOL at T's tantrums LOM and v.v.jealous of your lie-in/afternoon nap combo.

In spite of feeling rubbish had a nice weekend pootling about with DH and DS, Adam so full of the joys of spring at the moment, a complete pleasure to be around (in between the wailing and gnashing of teeth)!

Hope your morning sickness subsides soon Loopy. I actually lost weight initially with Adam and had fantasies of having a chic little bump but in the end was gloriously huge!

Loopy - wow, congratulations! The EDD is the day after William's birthday! I'm so pleased that DD's sleeping better too - gives you 9 months off before it all starts again

RG - we have a gate across the room, which we rarely close, and one at the top of the stairs which we close whenever we're upstairs.

LOM - those tantrums made me smile! William is just very possesive about everything, his current favourite phrsae is 'that's mine!' doesn't matter what he's got!

I had a lovely Mother's Day, we spent the weekend in London with SIL, I had INset on Saturday and on SUnday we went to the zoo. William loved the gorillas, he would have stayed in that enclosure all day if we'd let him He came home with a little toy gorilla, lovingly called, 'Rilla', which he takes everywhere. he also gave me the best present ever - he's beensleeping through for 5 nights now - I feel amazing!!

Hi everyone!

We're on night 4 of DD in the "big girl's bed" (sides off the cot, really) and so far it's been fab. She's hasn't fallen out once (yet!) and although my friend gave me her bed guard, after two nights of DD sleeping without it with no problems, i dont want to use it unless she falls out of bed and her confidence gets knocked or something. In the mornings she sits up in her bed and talks to her toys and to Peppa Pig, who is smiling away at her on her duvet cover and pillow case lol.

Mother's day was a bit rubbish. DP worked, so was up at 5am and out by 6am. Didn't get home til about 1pm and then went straight off to his mum's to deliver her card and flowers . Didn't get my card til about 4pm from DP DD and got sweet F.A. from DS, not even a "hello" (he hasn't spoken to me for a week now and keeps sneaking in and out so as not to see us either) so i blubbed over the ironing for the afternoon instead and wallowed in self pity for a bit lol. I shouldn't expect anything less from DS as he hasn't given me a birthday, christmas or mother's day card for about 2 years now. Oh well, less of me moaning about him (again!).

Nothing else to report really!! DD is getting headstrong now and i'm finding i am having to up my discipline/telling off now. Dont like moaning at her but i think if i dont start letting her know that actually it's ME who's the boss, i'll be calling for Jo Frost before too long!

Thanks Loopy - I went to see the midwife yesterday who is arranging for me to see the consultant at my 12 week scan re an elective section.

I'm going to have to do some research to see my my rights are etc but I am deffo having one. I just hope they don't make it too difficult for me. If needs be I'll sell a DH's kidney and go private.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!! LOM!!!! Congratulations!!!! ()

Everyone on here is getting up the duff again! How fab! Wish i could say i will be next but that just isn't going to happen for me, alas. Still, i am enjoying life getting slightly easier every week with DD so i mustn't grumble. I do/will miss babywearing tho, but i dont think DP will see that as a reason to have another baby!!

Almost a week now and still doing fine with DD in her big bed. She doesn't get out unless i go in her room and she asks me if she can "get off" her bed (bless). My friend gave me her bed guard but in all honesty, there's not much point in using it now as DD hasn't gone anywhere near falling out (yet!). Seems silly to put one on now and her bed is very low to the floor anyway so she wouldn't hurt herself even if she did fall out.

DS is still being a tool (no, i dont mind you calling him that Loopy - made me chuckle lol) and still hasn't spoken to me. It's been a week now since we last spoke and other than me outing his disgusting crime of leaving 10 tons of pubes in the bath plug hole (seriously, the pile was so MASSIVE i recoiled from the bath when i saw it) on Facebook, i have no idea what i've done wrong. I have however learnt (via Facebook!) that he starts a job on Monday doing nightwork. Other than that, he is a complete stranger to me these days.

Still, at least it's friday and that means only one thing. It's Chicken Kebab and wine night! yay!!

CBA days are nice Loopy. We are watching a film tonight too but i cant remember which one as we've had two through the letter box on the same day from Lovefilm.com. What are you going to watch?

littleoldme · 19/03/2010 19:33

Loopy - Yes , elective def the weay to go. Although don;t get me wrong, the trauma wasn't the fault of the NHS and I'm grateful to them that we are both here today. Still, not an experience I wish to repeat.

RG- Thanks for you congrats and URGHHHHHH at the pube pile. that is worn wrong wrong.
Enjoy your kebab.

Fainted twice today. Will be so pleased to get to twelve weeks and start feeling abit more normal.

Loopy - both with t and this time I've fainted even before I've done a test. Slightly inconvient ( especially in a choir rehearsal) but saves a fortune on the Clearblue. So pleased to be Pg though I don't mind too much although I did have to confess my delicate condition at playgroup as I fainted the week before last too and people were getting worried !

I have had a happy evening watching last night's Masterchef. i know it is bad but i love it.

Greedygirl · 21/03/2010 19:58

Oh heck LOM hope the fainting stops soon and glad you didn't keel over when we met up as I haven't done my first aid recently! Very excited for all those with baby bumps. Does this mean you are currently on new ante-natal threads?!

RG - sorry your mothers day was a bit pants. I was proper poorly but my DH just moped around until I realised that he wasn't going to clear off and give me a day in bed so I got dressed and hauled my sorry self around an adventure park and ended up taking the next day off! Men are rubbish sometimes. But he did get me an ipod on the other hand!

Only a week to go until we go to Spain! We are going with another family so should be interesting. Very exciting. Adam says "lets go to the other house with the swimming pool" most mornings now!

No, not been with them before so bit nervous! But think it should be OK, we spend a fair amount of time together both with and without kids. Bring on the sunshine cos rain may really test our relationships!

I didn't realise Mnet had grown that much, what a shame. You maybe need to divide the month into smaller groups according to due date! I always liked the people on the BLW site, I didn't spend a lot of time on there but they were really friendly and it was quite small at that time. Maybe they have antenatal threads?

LoopyLOM I found the antenatal May 09 group was much bigger than our Nov 07 group and it was really hard to keep up with especially as I was working nearly fulltime up to 39 weeks. I lurked and posted when I could. The post natal group has dropped down to a more manageable 20-30 ladies with less as regular posters.

Greedy I'm very of your holiday. We haven't been on holiday with friends since having DCs but went on a few trips with other couples in the past and it wasn't too bad but it's surprising how different people have different ideas of how they want to spend their days. DH and I would be off walking and exploring and others were happy to sit in a cafe or pub allday (we did hit the pub come 4pm though ).

Hello ladies! You had dropped off my bookmarks so thought i'd best get in here quick and say hello!!

Catch up tomorrow - just off to bed now!

littleoldme · 30/03/2010 14:24

Hello all, been very quiet on here lately.

Loopy - glad DD got on well at playgroup. how are you feeling ?

Febes - I know what you mean, the Oct list is already massive. Alos, with t to look after too i don;t have as much mn time these days. I shall rely up on the wisdon of you lovely ladies to see me though my confinement!

Well I'm beginning to emerge from a fainty sicky fog abd am getting quite excited now. I told the musical director at choir last night who was quite beside herself, " Ohhh we love having choir babies".

The other bit of exciting news is that someone is coming to see our house tomorrow and it isn't even on the market yet. Bodes well methinks.
