lom all the best for Monday! Have a beautiful birth experience and enjoy meeting your new baby. Hope nothing starts between now and Monday! I'll be thinking of you xx

Greedygirl · 17/10/2010 10:45

Good luck LOM. Must be so exciting knowing exactly when your new baby is going to arrive! 18th October is a nice birthday I think.

I am off to see my folks in Shetland next week. I break up on Wednesday and fly home early on Thursday morning. I am excited but nervous as I am just going with Adam so no other adult to help on the 5 hour drive to Edinburgh and 2 hour flight to Shetland! The drive is worrying me more than the flight. Think I have just started with a head cold too, horrible germy students! I also end up with a lurgy over half-term! Sure I will be fine, the thought of these things is usually worse than the reality! Plus I have purchased some new Scooby related toys for the flight.

Hope you all having a nice weekend. We have been very lazy this weekend and it seems as though the TV has been on a lot Blush.

jetgirl · 18/10/2010 16:25

I promise x 10,000 to catch up with you all tomorrow afternoon when DD is at nursery. I have been rubbish at keeping up lately Blush

Greedygirl · 19/10/2010 05:25

Have you got a life RG?! How dare you! Grin

febes · 19/10/2010 06:34

Lovely news. Glad it all went well LOM xx

RGPargy · 19/10/2010 22:13

Yes sorry Greedy, i have been having far too much of a life lately! Whatever next!! Confused

Today however, i had to try and get rid of the mold on our bathroom ceiling (caused by the previous owners tiling right over the airvent bricks, like they did in every room, thus causing most rooms to grow mold....) and also scrub the bathroom wall by the shower as they were minging. I didn't even get time to watch a sneaky episode of Stenders, let alone catch up with you guys while DD was at nursery! Wink I desperately need to get my nails done tomorrow. They are so long it feels like i have stuck pegs on the end of each finger lol. Need to get a new set put on so that will probably take up most of my 2.5 hours of DD-free time.....

Sigh..... will i EVER have no life at all again?? :(

I will fill you in tomorrow hopefully. DS is called Patrick John, although he is generally called Patch atm. He is incredibly cute.

Cant wait for the birth story!! :o

Greedygirl · 22/10/2010 19:48

Hello, just bobbing on quickly to say hello, I am in Shetland at the mo and survived the 5 hour drive and 2 hour flight on my own with Adam. Been down to the beach today and waved at some local seals and Adam is pooped and fast asleep and I am sitting by the fire with a glass of wine having my tea cooked for me so the journey was worth it!

LOM - glad you are back home. Patch! What a sweet nickname. Hope you are feeling well and not too bruised and battered.
