Loopy , if you are in the market for some size 14-16 stuff I can shortly send a parcel your way. Most of it was given to me so more than happy to pass it on.

Bargain Loopy!

Ahhh there is a lot of love on the thread today!

LOM - you are a fab mum and if you can teach a group of scallywags then you can cope with anything! I know I have got to a point where I feel very confident with Adam and having another would definitely throw me for a bit but T is at a great age - he can help you and you can reason with him (up to a point!) and I know he will be such a gorgeous big brother. I have had a few stressy moments with Adam recently and I am not even preggers! How lovely of your DH! The little things definitely count.

I had a mini meltdown at work today but off now for the rest of the week Smile.

littleoldme · 07/10/2010 18:40

Thank you all for your reassurance; it has helped immensely. I've chatted to a few friends about how I've been feeling and they all tell me they felt the same and it's normal. So I am now feeling slightly less bonkers. Also DH 'worked from home' this morning and let me lie in til 10 which was bliss. It is amazing what agood rest can do.

Loopy - I too have longer than average legs so my stuff should be fine for you. I generally have to get long leg stufff and take it up a bit. If it is no good feel free to pass it on or take it to the chazza. It'll be a month or before I'm out of it anyway. At the mo I am living in some grey and pink joggers I got from Sainsbo's. They are not mat ones but sooo comfy ( and in a long leg too).
I like to think that you are expanding rapidly because your bean is growing big enough to open a whopp-ass on the SCH !

Jet - The baby has bought a present for Tom and I am very conscious that I want to spend time on my own with him. Fortunately either MIL or my mum will be around for two weeks after DH returns to work so that will help. I think we will be watching LOTS of beebies.

Greedy - Sorry you had a tough time at work. this time of year is full on eh. We used to call it the September Battle For Supremacy. Hope you manage to have a good relax over the weekend.

That should of course be open a can of whoop-ass. I'm not doing very well tonight.

Loopy - Hope the barn dance was fun and that you have got some rest. Is there anyway you can move the scan forward.
I'm sending you some virtual cottage pie, my mum has just made it and it smells yum X

Don't be Blush Loopy, we all use mumsnet for a bit of virtual therapy and we are all rooting for you! Did you say that you had a similar issue in your first pregnancy? Please excuse my ignorance, I haven't heard of this kind of thing before.

Nothing to report up North. Had the bliss of reading the papers in total silence today as my DH took Adam to see Toy Story 3 at the cheapo family cinema. My idea of a good time has changed somewhat from my younger days! Unfortunately my day was ruined by looking at my bank account online - cold sweat when I realised I am already officially skint this month! Yikes, how did that happen?!

littleoldme · 11/10/2010 09:05

Off load away Loopy - it's what we are all here for X .Today, tomorrow then scan two days to get through, you can do it >

Greedy - Have found some pics of Tom and Adam lurking on my camera from when you came over ages ago. I'll email them to you, they make quite a mischievious looking pair.

Love the idea of your Sunday morning. Never do financials at the weekend; it doesn't end well Grin

False alarm for us on friday. I was convinced I was going in to labour . Turned out to be strong BH again. Week today...

Loopy - as they said the news quiz: Tories, putting the n into cuts Grin.
I wasn't too worried TBH. What I'm scared of is having 3 days of no sleep and lots of pain followed by a mad panic. The hosp have said for me to go in as soon as I think I'm in labour, they'll give the cs or I'll be so far along that there won't be time. So in theory what I consider to be the worst case scenario will be avoided. Lets hope anyway

Hi ladies!! Lost you! Shock

Will catch up with DD is at nursery this afternoon. :o

Greedygirl · 12/10/2010 12:11

Loopy - me too! I kept thinking - cnuts?? Blush.

On the topic of money Adam is really struggling with me going to work at the mo ("but I can't find you Sad") so I said that I had to go to earn some pennies. Today he said "don't be longer and longer today mum, don't get lots of money" Ha! If only he knew! So I feel truly crap today. Not only am I leaving my son 3 days a week, I am not even making lots of money!

Loopy, how wonderful! I am welling up here Blush Just like greedy I have been crying every time they've brought a miner up too. All this high emotion!!

I wrote a huge message last night, then my phone crashed and I lost it, so I'm taking no chances now and am at the pc!

Greedy - I really feel for you leaving Adam. There are some days when William is very clingy and says he's coming to work with me not going to nursery and I have to leave him sobbing having got one of the girls to prise him off me for cuddles. One of the girls is 20 weeks pg (she had her scan on Monday and all is well) and I won't let her take William as he kicks and wriggles so much sometimes. Most of the time he is fine and just runs off without so much as a backwards glance, after all breakfast is calling!

Yesterday I had to deal with the biggest strop DD has ever thrown. I was mortified. I was collecting her from my friend's house (we look after each other's daughters on the days we don't work) and DD diod not want to leave. SHe was rude to me, rude to my friend, screamed at me, kicked me as I carried her down the stairs and ran off when we were walking down the road. She did make my friend a card today which she gave to her when she came to collect her daughter and she was fine, but I could have died of embarrassmnent yesterday!

It's been so hectic at work this week, I only do 3 days, but had to go in Monday evening for a Gifted and Talented event, then had to go in today to sort out problems with my data sheets (problems which weren't of my making, grrr). Then tomorrow we have information evening for KS4 parents and students. So iawill have been in 5 days this week, and tomorrow is a 14 hour day. I cannot wait until the weekend!!

littleoldme · 13/10/2010 17:44

It is indeed, and not a moment too soon Grin
