Just a quick hello.

Good decision Loopy

Greedy - we should try and meet up in the hols. Was wondering if you and Adam fancied staying over mid week if you are on hols. I'll cook a nice dinner and get something fizzy in. No offence taken if not

Things calming down after the move. I now just have 300 GCSE papers to mark. It's sooooo hot I find I'm spending lots of afternoon asleep. good job DH 'works from home.'

Can I ask you lots about baby names - shhhh though, don't tell anyone.

I want to know how many Jacks you know. Mn is ways chuntering about how overused it is but I don't know any and I love the name. On the other hand I know three other Thomas's. Mmmmm...

I like SWI!!!

LOM I love the name Jack. There are a few of them around. I don't have any close friends with Jacks but ther are one or two in most classes at school. I have taught some lovely Jacks. And Thomas'

littleoldme · 29/06/2010 22:31

Loopy - I love SWI so much more earthy and less twee than baby dancing.

Thanks for the Jack feedback. The whole anti popular name thing bugs me a bit. Names are usually popular because they are nice ( providing they are not soap or footballer related) I think Tom and Jack go well. Daniel is the other front runner. Not going to decide though. Seems presumptious and bad kalma to name a child that hasn't been born.

Loopy - I know what you mean , and being as I know the sex and when he will be born - I'd kind of like the name to be a suprise. Good point about the older Dcs though.

My sisters' DSs are Luke, Ryan and Nate. She also likes simple strong names. Jack and Tom go really well together. If I have another boy I like William and girl I like Caitlyn. But only SFF for me for a few more months .

littleoldme · 30/06/2010 11:01

Febes - William is fave boys name but it REAllY doesn't go with our surname.

No loopy - I still haven't changed it yet . We've only been married four years. Last name is Berry - Bill/Will with that is just asking for trouble. One friend suggested Logan...

A saucer of double cream is ready and waiting...
Really NOT a Logan fan. I like the sort of name Victorian apprentices would have, Jack, william, Edward etc/

Tianna ? That must be something inappropiately dressed 50 somethings have with coke when the Mailbu has run out.

Come to think of it, what about Malibu
I once looked after a Mahogany and an Americia. I kid you not , but that was in the US.

Was actually quite keen on pinching your youngest's name for a girl.
