You ok Loopy? x

William fell down the stairs about a month ago. Didn't see it, just heard it as I was in my bedroom and he had come up the stairs to find me. We think he slipped and slid down on his front as he didn't bump anything. We had a few tears then a very forceful 'Very naughty stairs'! Mum tells me I fel ldown the stairs as a baby and into a window, no harm done (we think!)

Oh Loopy, bless you. It must be really really difficult for you right now. I can only imagine what you are going through. But try not to see a gap in your children - see your girls for the miracle that each one of them is. If a fourth is meant to come along, it will do but only when it's good and ready to born into this world and into your wonderful family.

I hope a change of scenery will help you feel a little refreshed and help you think a bit clearer. Hopefully you will also get some natural sleep.

Dry your eyes, lovely lady. ((((((HUGS))))))

Hi all. Congrats to everyone who is getting their dcs to use the potty. I think I'm right in saying it's mostly the girls? I'm goping to have bash with t once we are settled in the new house. have to say I'm not holding out a vast amount of hope.

Loopy - Aww chuck. Hope you manage to get some sleep. Although I haven't been in your situation, I have suffered badly with stress/depression induced insomnia and it is the pits. I'm happy to share somethings that helped me if you are not already being generally bombarded with advice.
Hope the holiday is fun XX

We had a fab holiday and are now getting stuck into the packing. We move a week on Monday. I can't wait to have more space. It is going to feel strange though; we've lived in this area for 12 years.

Jet - I was very tickled by you seeing your students having a picnic. a friend of mine was very drunk in strip club once. One of the pole dancers was shouting , " Aye up sir" and waving enthusiastically from the podium. It was one of his sixth formers !

Much alarm at the stair tumbles. Glad everyone is in one piece.

Morning!!

Hope everyone has been enjoying the glorious weather and the half term. Especially Loppy. Hope your girls and you have maxed out on fairyprincesses and such things.

We have had a busy few days in the sun socializing. The DCs are knackered so I think we will have a quiet day today. DH also worked all night so will need to sleep today when he gets home.

Loopy Yah at AF!! Don't normally say that do we? Great to here you're trying again and that you sound happier. Onward and upward!!
I've put DD in nappies this morning . She has still not done a poo in the potty and yesterday did lots of wees in pants too and had runny poo so I have decided to put her in nappies for a few weeks (or months) and then try again. I can't be doing with anymore poos in pants!!

littleoldme · 10/06/2010 19:46

Loopy - Yay - sounds like you and Dh had some time to chat while you were away. Glad you have a plan and that things are starting to look brighter for you all XX

Febes - as the other of runny pooer I can completely understand the return to nappies.

We're moving house on Monday Tom is off to the inlaws and my Mum and Step dad are coming to help. Good job as my SPD is back with avengance so I shall be operating in a largely supervisory role.

We had my 20 week scan on Tues. All is well, thank God. We're having a boy !

littleoldme · 12/06/2010 20:40

Loopy - I have had a couple of comments like that but I let it wash over me. TBH with all the genetic cancer stuff I'm relieved it's a boy.
Campsite looks nice. What with being Northeners we get down that way once in blue moon.

T is at the ILs while we pack. The house feels so empty without him.

Loopy Thats why I want to go home. I miss my mum so much. I've been here 9 and a half years now.

littleoldme · 13/06/2010 10:55

Febes - exciting time ahead then. It'll be so good to be near your Mum again.

Loopy - I'd forgotten about your moves, that must have been a complete nightmare.
let us know when you going to be in the lakes. We know the area very well so will be able to suggest good places and we may even be able to join you for a stroll and a cream tea !

Re: the genetic stuff: if t and his little brother have the alteration they can pass it on to their kids but blokes are unlikley to be affected by it themselves. I cancelled an appt with the gynae team last week. Funnily enough I didn't feel able to sit and talk about having my ovaries removed and cancer whilst 20 pg. I'm waffling so I'll stop.

sounds like you have afun Summer planned.

Right . Time to pack !
