Thanks fi and momino. I keep trying to talk to DH but he hasn't really got it, but it's improving. To be fair to him he's being great practically.

The cake smells good. It's a Delia recipe, and every time we've done it before it's taken hours longer than it's supposed to. We had a new oven this year and thought that would solve the problem but no...obviously the recipe is just wrong, I'll write to Delia a note in the book.

Don't know what's been going on today, but my boobs are really engorged tonight. Hadn't noticed A feeding more but maybe she has? Puzzling.

I'm off to bed now, catch up soon. Hope all babies are well and happy in the morning following perfect sleeps.

Gosh didn't realise it was this late. We had a busy day today with C having a big photo shoot, which I think will make lovely xmas pressies for grandmas and aunties I didn't take her with that intention, though. Then I spent this evening doing the ironing, a bit of tidying, baking a cake and putting ds's goody bags together (and decorating them) because tomorrow I'm going to help out at the school xmas fair and wont have time to do all that much about his party really.

flippin How great of your DH to give you the option of not having to go back in april. Hope things are going well.

I would try and remember who else I've forgotten to mention, but my brain is starting to shut down and so I think I better just go to bed. Goodnight everyone.

Hope everyone managed a decent nights sleep. After saying to some other mothers the other day that ds2 is regularly sleeping from 7-4am he's starting waking up more. It doesn't help that both boys have a cold. Ds1 is doing a very good Barry White impression this am - bless!

Last night I had itchy legs, so after feeding ds2 I felt around in the dark and found what I thought was my moisturiser and was rubbing it into my legs. I thought this isn't right and when I turned the light on, I'd been trying to rub Lansinoh onto them

Sorry just got to get this off my chest as DH is doing my head in this morning. He has decided that it is imperative that we have a sofa bed in the spare spare room upstairs ( we already have a double bed in the spare room). It is also imperative that having decided this in the last 2 days that the sofa bed must be purchased NOW. So he is dragging poor DS1 off to Ikea on a Saturday. DH is complaining that he is stressed and when questionned about why this particular "job" is so urgent, he just says its a job, it needs doing. So he is insisting on going to hellIkea on a busy Saturday, feeling slightly stressed already, and is taking DS1 with him. Recipe for disaster but he will not be talked out of it. Men.

Snowboarding last night was fab. Got back at midnight, and had to deal with R at that point and again at 4am. Oh well.

Sorry for the me me me post. Will catch up (prob when DH at Ikea!) later.

Afternoon all. We are having a bit of a lazy Saturday waiting for my DB & his GF to come on over. The DDs are very excited at the prospect of putting up their little pink Christmas tree in their room with DB too.

Headless OMG, your DH must be mad. Hell Ikea on a Saturday. You can imagine it, can't you... getting stressed about parking, choosing the right colour and size sofa, wrestling it onto a trolley, queuing for an eternity to pay, and in the midst of all this, I am sure that DS1 will need the toilet / something to eat. Lol. I hope he survives the experience

DH took the DDs for a haircut this morning, and I'm not too impressed... I'm sure I could do a better job, but DG has got the hump because I said I would take them somewhere else instead next time. DH reckons haircuts are functional until the DC are 10 yo. Typical male attitude !

Sounds like a few bad nights sleep last night. Fi have you got some toothpicks for your eyes?

Headless Glad the snowboarding was fun. Sounds like my worst nightmare. I went skiing as a child a few times and DID NOT LIKE IT. Too cold and wet and painful for my liking. Poor DH has wanted to go on a skiing holiday for years as being from SA he has only seen snow a handful of times. I managed to put it off and now we have young DCs it might be a few years yet. Maybe when we are in NZ he can take the DCs up the slopes and I will sip hot toddies in some resort awaiting their return.

R took a while to properly settle last night and I had to feed him at 8 and 10.30. Then he went two 4 hour chunks with a feed at 2.30am so not too bad. He has napped well today so that makes life a little easier. I STILL feel yuck. Rash is all over me. I went back to the doctors yesterday but as it is viral they can't give me anything. Just paracetamol. He has sent me for a urine test and more blood tests just to be sure but he is pretty sure they will come up as normal.
Thank goodness cbeebies is quite educational as we have been watching a fair bit of it the last few weeks. I did paint with DD this morning though which was bloody messy lovely.

Ikea update.

DH has returned sans sofa bed but with some drawers instead. He seems quite calm and in fact in a much better mood than when he left. Bizarre.

He has even said I can go off to the gym if I wanted, but I am sooooo tired I am going to MN instead!

febes poor you and your rash.I really hope it improves. I hate it when they say "viral". Its like they are saying can't be bothered to deal with it. Is it itchy too? I have a rather strange rash like circle on my wrist that has been there for a few weeks. A friends thinks it is ringworm. Its itchy too so have been recommnded lansil or something. So have been out this morning and got some.
