BOO!!

Mopping floors here. The glamour is difficult to handle at times.

cyteen · 27/05/2009 22:31

I'm off to bed also, no doubt DS will be wakey wakey again tonight so I should have gone hours ago but was suckered by The Apprentice. Night all, wishing you sleeping babies and amorous menfolk

TwilightSurfer · 27/05/2009 22:54

Night ladies. Just thinking about dinner here. Frittata, me thinks. With bacon, tomatoes, cheese and onions. Maybe a dash of chili powder. Black Olives....that's about all the leftover stuff I can come up with so I guess it's all going in! I wonder if the bacon and olives would make it too salty? Might leave out the olives. Then again might not.

Oh well...happy sleeps to all.

morning everyone. Actually last night wasn't too bad, but I was totally and utterly exhausted after little man crying nearly all day.
Anyhoo, he has apparently been awake since just after 6 - and he DIDN't WAKE ME UP
Oh he's moaning again.

AnnVan · 28/05/2009 08:05

oh and I obviously missed all the fun, but first seb was screaming too much for me to sit and mn in peace, and then DP was playing an mmo, so I had no access. I was in bed by 10.30.

AnnVan · 28/05/2009 08:06

hmm, better go make matey some breakfast.

TwilightSurfer · 28/05/2009 08:17

Morning. Sazzles I have so many typos of my own I rarely notice other's mistakes. Ann I do hope you get a nap.

Wishing all a good day.

cyteen · 28/05/2009 09:53

Just spent 40 frustrating minutes trying to get DS down for his nap Usually he's quite happy to have a sleep after breakfast/2 hours-ish after waking up, but not today. I expect he will pass out about 5 minutes before my family get here

Last night was okay apart from DP inadvertently scaring the shit out of me. I got up to settle DS at about 12.20 and was sitting by his cot feeling v bleary and not very awake at all. As usual when sitting in a dark room, I started thinking about the zombie book I'm reading at the moment and feeling a bit freaked out. Anyway, DS is just about asleep and I am getting ready to creep out when I hear this low moan....muuuurrrgggghhh. WTF? I think I'm imagining it, then I hear it again, a bit louder. Muuuurrrrgggghhhhh Fuck fuck fuck, think I, WTF! I decide it must be sex noises coming from next door (the walls are paper thin here, you can hear everything) but there's no getting away from the fact that it sounds like zombie noise. There are more groans and eventually I realise that it is DP's bloody snoring

To cap it all, when I got back in bed I sleepily said "you scared me" and he said - in his sleep - "no I didn't!" FFS.

alittlebitshy · 28/05/2009 10:12

lol cyteen. I wonderd what your FB status meant!

ann sympathy for screamy won't be put down baby.

Last night signalled the end of a run of almost 4 weeks of no night time wake ups. I knew it wasn't "it". lol. He woke at 11pm and wasn't too unhappy but i went in anyway and he was sat up in his cot, clearly about to commence playing. Fed him, then he went backl of. 4am whinging so feed and sleep again. raaaaah.

CaptainCaveman · 28/05/2009 10:19

albs I've given up all hope of ds2 ever sleeping through the night - that way I can't be disappointed . Last night he woke at 10.20, 3ish, 4.30ish, 6.30ish. I've also given up trying to establish what time it is. If there is light peeping round the curtains I figure I'll feed him. If it's still dark I fall back to sleep whilst pretending to comfort him rock him back to sleep.

No1 lol that you live near the Chuckle Brothers . If you see them out and about, do they wear those yellow clothes all the time? (I have an image in my head of them wearing yellow trousers for some reason!)

TS look here. I think they look very scary!!

CaptainCaveman · 28/05/2009 10:22

cyteen I hope you have calmed down now!? Mean dp scaring you.

apparently when dh came to bed 2 nights ago, I was hogging most of the bed. When he tried to move me I bellowed at him to "Fuck off, what the fuck do you want me to do?" . I remember having a dream that I was angry at him and shouting & swearing, but had no idea I was actually doing it!! Never try to wake a sleeping CC
