Good thinking VG

Am hoping Man Utd do not take the game to extra time (sorry RedLentil's DH) then I should be able to persuade my DH to watch another episode of The Wire. I was yesterday when I found out that Detective McNulty is actually from Sheffield and went to Eton [out of my league]

RedLentil · 27/05/2009 21:35

Feck it.
They've virtually lost and it'll be my fault.

Redlentil - I will tell my DH it's your fault otherwise it will be mine as his lucky shirt was nowhere to be found and it's going to be my fault otherwise. Oh cr*p I just looked at the score I am in such trouble! because it is all down to his shirt of course!

RedLentil · 27/05/2009 21:40

DH is on the horns of a dilemma because he was v. proud, six years ago, to give DS the initials FCB to match those of Football Club Barcelona.

dizzydixies · 27/05/2009 21:40

VG I take no interest in football at all but my recently bereaved cousins live near to Barcelona and are huge fans so apologies to any Man U fans but I'm pleased as it will cheer them up

am too busy cringing at the apprentice here and DH just gone to work

Dh just rang.

The highlights:

unbelievable ... twenty yards ... strung out across the pitch ... acres of space ... twenty yards!!! ... slack defending .... unbelievable

I have a good line in sympathetic puffing

oopsacoconut · 27/05/2009 22:01

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 27/05/2009 22:03

Yes I have also found that too oops. He eats like a pig I find it hard to believe that he is really hungry. I fobbed him off with 4 oz at 4am and he then slept till 7.30. so not too bad and obviously not that hungry

RedLentil · 27/05/2009 22:03

I think we're on a slower backup server until tomorrow morning so it's been odd all day.
