ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 12:57

ooh goodness you have all been on!

Not much going on here apart from being in alot of pain due to my period, apparently the first one after mc can be bad?

Feel a little off today, sorry for myself i think, lol

VS i FB you back

Ellie - i too am rubbish mummy and very evil stepmummy, we should stick together
Our new sofa is lovely and am really enjoying my new front room

ThePFJ · 18/03/2009 13:01

Hi Scorpio!

Sympathy and minieggs for your Aunt Flo.. lucky lucky on the new sofa though...

VictorianSqualor · 18/03/2009 16:00

Muwahaha.
I have other children here.
All children have been dumped in the garden with a box of chalks and directed towards the garage wall.
DP is gonna KILL me

OP posts:
ThePFJ · 18/03/2009 17:14

Hehehehehe! You could take a pic of the result and post it for us to see. Then take pic of DP's stunned face as wall is inspected....

VictorianSqualor · 18/03/2009 17:33

Ha, it isn't actually that bad, they've just coloured in some bricks.
However, I have been hearing horror stories about a new teacher
She is dd's friends form tutor and both dd and her friend are in her literacy and hospitality groups. Apparently she throws scissors across the room, cuts rubbers in half, yells 'WHAT?!?!' if they put their hand up and has said to DD 'Is this interesting or just more rubbish' and to her friend 'Oh for goodness sake, it's not HARD to understand' so now they're too scared to put their hands up to ask for help
Thankfully I'm friends with a few of DD's friends' mothers and I knew one of them (dd's friends, not the mother) was upset about something yesterday, it seems it was this so I shall be having a mother's meeting, lol.

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 19:21

I would be having a mothers meeting too. What a way to encourage a dyspraxic child

Sadly kids cannot colour in our garage as DH rents it for work shite tools and its about 4 miles away

Mimi has a cold and a cough and was up at 5am but so wanted to sleep, but we put her in bed with us and she started poking our eyes out so we put her back, and she managed to sleep, poor girl. She is getting very good at learning, we have mastered clapping and waving, now when anyone sys hello or bye to anyone she waves LOL. Then we taught her 'hat' - so if she is playing with something and you say 'hat' she puts it on her head with a massive smile, lol. Now im teaching 'nose' but she kinda pokes her eye out

Think i may start with makaton now she is grasping things iyswim. I taught ds1 as a baby and it was amazing, he learnt well over 40 signs and was so much easier for me! [lazy]

DS1 had a swimming gala today and came 3rd in his little race . DH is doing sponsered boxing thing tonight and im dying of period so im going to get i nthe bath and eat 1 of the dcs easter eggs and relax

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 19:22

oh BTW am so not being G&T or any bollox about mimi just sharing as its all just so cute!

EllieG · 18/03/2009 19:50

Oh no scorpio is all energetic mummy too! You can't be in my lazy mummy club if you are teaching things to them.
I went to baby signing classes with Mol but keep forgetting to use the signs so she'll never learn

Molly has a new game - I say 'Up!' and we put our arms in the air. Over and over and over again. I was very proud of her and then I realised this was quite a useless skill, and am now going to try to teach her things she might need, or that will do me some good. Like shoplifting. No one would suspect a baby [evil grin]

EllieG · 18/03/2009 19:52

Oh no teaching should have been in italics not bold. All the emphasis is wrong now. Am off to drink some wine.

SalLikesCoffee · 18/03/2009 19:55

Ellie, I'm a rubbish mum!

Talking of, R fell asleep half hour ago, then had a little moan (not even crying), then when I went to check he vomited all his milk over himself, his bed, everything. Poor little thing looked upset, but now he seems to have realised he got a reprieve from the dreaded sleep, so is all cheerful and laughing around my feet. Am running us a bath, so off to make him smell all nice again!

EllieG · 18/03/2009 20:02

I bet he did it deliberately so he could stay up later

OMaLittle · 18/03/2009 20:08

HELLO all!

I have had a brilliant day - GOT INTO MY PGCE COURSE! hadn't realised how nervous I was until it was over. So that's me, full time student from Sept! Secondary maths teacher from Sept 2010 - so help me, Lord. Really, really excited about it. And to top it off, the other people at the interview said "I was really surprised when you said you had kids, you don't look old enough, you look about 21" and "how can you be so thin after two kids?" - it was totally and but - I think my fairy godmother had been down and monkeyed with their eyesight.

So lovely hearing the stories about your gorgeous babies. My favourite from DD1 this weekend was when DH was asking if I was going to come swimming with DD2 on Sunday am and I said "I don't think so, she's still really snotty" and DD1 piped up "it's OK, mum, I think the friendly whale will have a hanky".

DH is out tonight so I think I might have a little celebratory tipple by myself and watch Mistresses on iPlayer. Am in love with the beautiful one's new husband.

OMaLittle · 18/03/2009 20:09

Oh, and Scorps, I need your house number.

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:13

Why??? Its 52, anyway

So well done to you then!! Whoop whoop!

Did oyu know that i am in love with a gay man?

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:16

Ellie - pmsl @ energetic mummy, really, really not!

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:16

VS has seen my gay man. I think she agrees

OMaLittle · 18/03/2009 20:28

Sorry just re-read and that sounds really boasty - I am not that thin and I DEFINITELY DEFINITELY do not look 21.

EllieG · 18/03/2009 20:30

Well done Oma! Woo!

Now ladies - I have an annoucement to make. I have decided It Is Time.

Ahem.

For the past week and a half....

Molly has been....

Sleeping Through!!!!

Wooo!

I didn't want to say anything as I thought it might jinx it, but it's been nearly two weeks and I think the pattern is set now. Hurray hurray for her and me, I feel like a new woman and have even managed to have sex without yawning half way through cos am not so tired! (sorry if tmi)

Do you know what helped? I gave her tea and 4.30 and give her a bit of cereal for supper at 6 and it fills her tummy up a bit more.

EllieG · 18/03/2009 20:31

Is too late Oma, I am not speaking to you for being too thin and not as haggard as me

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:31

Oooooooh get you Ellie Sex and everything

EllieG · 18/03/2009 20:32

Yep and I wasn't secretly hoping he'd hurry up cos I wanted to go to sleep either!

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:34

No telly or anything!

EllieG · 18/03/2009 20:37

That said, am off to drink tea and watch the West Wing box set now

See y'all tomorrrow x

SalLikesCoffee · 18/03/2009 20:40

Ellie, if it wasn't for the fact you've just made me laugh and spit coffee all over my keyboard, i'd start wishing evil little thoughts! But as it's you (Note to all other non-sleepers: Don't you dare join her...), wonderful news!!!

Oh, and to anyone that hasn't met Oma - she is actually beautiful. Think we should all start hating her. Oma, huge, huge congrats to you!

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 20:41

I have spoken to Oma and she sounded pretty if that helps lol
