DAISY - did you get wii fit? bargain deal on hotdealsuk

sorry, 1 handed typing baby asleep on me

LackaDAISYcal · 09/01/2009 20:41

Welcome back Tallulah. now reality bites

norty....you'll enjoy a lie in with DD from now on? for the next three weeks surely?

lol ria, i thought bappy was east coast speak for some part of his anatomy there . How are things with your anatomy now? feeling better?

i am delerious from sleep deprivation, hence all the maniac grins and winks. Dh is ordereing me to bed at 9.30 so I only have an hour online tonight.

DD didn't sleep at all this afternoon and bumble decided he was going to scream all afternoon so no nap for me. His screaming preceeded a mahoosive poo; he hadn't had one for a good few days. Surely it shouldn't cause him this much discomfort? He was lying half asleep on my lap and if I so much as moved an inch he was crying and it was that really plaintive painful cry . he has been awake all afternoon and has only just settlesd (falling aaslepp by himself though which is a step forward) so it might bode well for a good night

i did foxy, but nasty cold and knee prblems have stopped me using it so far (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it )

how's DD now? feeling better?

MIL used to be a nurse and an old lady kept giving her bags of brazil nuts. She told the old lady she really needn't and that brazils were too exoensive for her to accept. The old lady told her it was OK, her daughter kept buying her choc coated brazils, but she didn't like the nuts so she just sucked the choc of and... Eeeeewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!

Ohforfoxsake · 09/01/2009 20:48

linking wii deal anyway

OP posts:
JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 09/01/2009 21:14

Yeah, see off the imposter! But on the other hand don't listen to me, I've now had amaretto as well as the earlier gin and wine

LackaDAISYcal · 09/01/2009 21:28

lol jammy, are you on a mission to get plastered this evening? or just spring cleaning the drinks cabinet?

i have no wine ....do have a bottle of port though!

I'm reaching my curfew but have managed to negotiate a stay of execution in that I'm going to force dream feed bumble at 10 and then go to bed.

A little from column A and a little from column B Daisy

Sputnik · 09/01/2009 21:48

Speaking of nuts, I just had 18 (carefully counted out) macadamia nuts, then looked them up 325 calories
As you were.

Bumper, if you're still about just wanted to say good on you for trying to inform yourself about current events

Sputnik · 09/01/2009 21:50

Ah you're still here Daisy
No alcohol for me for the forseeable. I am strangely not bothered.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 09/01/2009 21:58

Well tonight we have settled (I think) on 2 holidays in Devon for later this year. East Devon at the end of March with my parents and North Devon with my ILs in September (as we can't find anything suitable available on Guernsey so are putting that off until 2010!) The N.Devon one has an indoor swimming pool and a games room with snooker table and childrens play area in the garden

LackaDAISYcal · 09/01/2009 22:00

current affairs....nope doesn't compute. I'm woefully unaware of current news events; we live in a world of nature and fishing programmes, old episodes of QI, and ice road truckers. I should take more interest.

How are things with you sputnik?

holly, where are you; you said you'd come and chat

If lurking, the pear would be no good for your tall children. when DD sits in the toddler seat, the hood when folded comes down to her eyes and she is a short arse dinky wee thing like her mum.

Norty, we've been playing with the Maclaren today. there are a couple of things that could have been designed a bit better, but overall I quite like it. The handles are really tall though, but all Maclarens are like that. The middle wheels at the back catch your feet, but you'd soon get used to that I think. Also makes the spurious claim that it fits through a standard door . The frame yes, but only if the actual door isn't there! being an umbrella fold though, you can partially collapse it to get through!!

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 09/01/2009 22:02

I was looking up Gaza strip on wikipedia this morning after reading Bumper's post as I realised I was woefully ill informed.

Anyway, off to bed for me. Night all.

happynewRia · 09/01/2009 22:05

what about Jersey jammy. DM&F went there for their silver WA, and then to Jersey for their Ruby.

another Ria. is she more intelligent than me?

anyone know what measles look like? P3rdB syndrome here. Rang dsis and she doesn't know anything about rashes (honestly, when you don't want medical advice she is the fount of all knowledge. bloody NHS staff). I could have asked DM but didn't want to worry her. Probably chicken pox again, they are big like CP spots before they get pus. Not prickly like our usual viral rashes)

happynewRia · 09/01/2009 22:07

I know nothing about anything. I'm not bothered though, I have enough panic and misery stored up inside without adding to it, your world sounds fine to me daisy, though haven't seen ice road truckers, swap that with come dine with me and postman pat - special delivery service! (even DS1 stops all when he gets in from the bus for that)

TALLULAHBELLE · 09/01/2009 22:09
