Sorry about the bf NL Although T is still a mlk moster there are signs he is slowing down too - times when he doesn't feed at his usual times. Am both and about that.

oooggs - are you having a baby now???? Or am I missing something?

runnyhabbit · 02/01/2009 15:57

Happy New Year to you all

Lovely Christmas here (apart from the stinking cough/cold/manflu that is doing the rounds - woke up with it on Christmas Day - bleurgh) Boys been fab, saw lots of family I haven't seen for ages, and dh has behaved himself too

Take care all, and will catch up soon x

PillockOnTheChristmastree · 02/01/2009 16:15

DO NOT talk to me about haircuts
J needed one but all barbers shut round here until Monday.
He went to Justin's and came home with it hacked off with scissors . After lots of excuses (he looked like a girl, i'm his father so i can make these decisions, blah blah blah) we get to the truth. He wasn't watching him and J got his dinner so badly stuck in his hair it had to be cut out . He'd intended to take him to get it fixed but all barbers shut. TWUNT. Have now had to shave it off (even on a number one you could see where clumps had been cut off)

I'm signed off for another week. Slept from 4.30 yesterday until Skott rang at 9am today - that's not normal even for me

cazboldy · 02/01/2009 18:31

sometimes words fail you don't they?

StealthPo09IsHere · 02/01/2009 18:38
Shock
oooggs · 02/01/2009 19:12

ellie -

36 weeks today - no baby yet katy just lots of activity, braxton hicks (I think, never thad them before) very tired - the usual really

yuk to bad nights, dd now better (given that the kiss of death ) and is sleeping through, ds2 waking and saying something but I have no idea what so was up 2.5 hours with him last night

eddas - they grow so fast - I can't wait til ds1 goes back to school on Monday and dts to go to nursery on wednesday so I can have some time on my own before the baby arrives

If this baby is on ds1's time clock it will be here tuesday (36+4!!!!)

Happy New Year!
We had a lovely evening with friends. 10 adults and various kids. G mostly slept upstairs in travel cot throughout. Woke at 1245 and was brought downstairs by my friend to join the party. He stayed up enjoying all the cuddles until we left an hour later.
I've been a bit fluey feeling since then but it hasn't developed into anything worse.

Much sympathy to those of you taking care of lurgified LOs and Dps.

at J's unplanned haircut POTC. I'd be too.

Hope things settle down Oooggs - unless you want LO to make an early appearance.

morning everyone

cazboldy · 03/01/2009 10:00

I am making a Percy birthday cake

how is everyone?

StealthPo09IsHere · 03/01/2009 11:05

fine thanks
Do you mean Percy out of Thomas? I was planning to do one for T's 2nd - let me know what you use and how it goes? I was going to make a Thomas one, but actually he has a percy train and a percy book

cazboldy · 03/01/2009 13:26

yes I do SPB....

I am cheating a bit....

have made a square cake......half is green (for grass) with a couple of little toy cows grazing on it, then there is a fence (made out of chocolate fingers, a track made out of chocolate icing, with a little percy train on the track, and then more grass with a little tiny toy tractor

so all of his favourite things!

didn't really know how to make a train shape without a mould, and then when I thought about it, I couldn't get one in time.

but he seems impressed anyway

I can't believe my baby boy is 3 today!

CaptainDippy · 03/01/2009 13:27

haven't heard from pesha or sol in ages

CaptainDippy · 04/01/2009 16:19

Yes, I was just thinking of Pesha and SOL the other day. Hope they are doing ok!

I really want everyone in my house to get 100% better soon ... these illnesses are just going on forever

OP posts:
oooggs · 04/01/2009 19:37

only 3 posts since I posted nearly 24 hours ago

back to school tomorrow , builders back , time to get back into a routine having not had to get up or dressed to a particular time

hopefully when work/school starts everyone will come back to play post

CallMeHunAtYourPeril · 04/01/2009 21:52

I am so dim - changed my name but couldn't remember what to so had to look it up to log in!

Pesha was away with in-laws for christmas and then disneyland Paris (treat from ILs) for new year. She got back late last night I think so no doubt she'll appear soon!

I'm still shattered, sleeping at least 3 hours during day and then dozing off at bedtime for the boys. J is still awake and lying in bed next to me prodding my bellybutton

School not back until Tuesday here so last day of relative stress-free life tomorrow!

My lovely neighbour had his dog put down yesterday. He had 2 jack russells, mother and daughter, and the old girl was in too much pain for him to let her go on . Those dogs were like his children and I know he must be heartbroken, but was trying to act like he wasn't upset

seXMASonlegs · 04/01/2009 21:52

You called

Hiya lovelies. Sorry for my absence. We decided stupidly to change internet provider and were without a connection for aaaages. Then we were away, but are now back and have t'internet back - hurrahhhhhhhh.

Anyway, have had a quick skim, but remember bugger all. Hope you all had great Christmas and New Year celebrations. Hope everyone is healthy (??) and that 2009 is a wonderful year.
