Its only 20 mins from CH-LE-ST to Durham!!!

Yes it was them - they are at the pantomime just now, I have just rang her but she was actually in the panto (well not in it) so couldnt really speak, but she text to ask if boy was called T - so yes it was them. She is very good at entertain small 20 month type boys

cazboldy · 30/12/2008 19:38

Oh that's really lovely

StealthPoHoHoHo · 30/12/2008 19:38

Ah that's a relief
Have reported m post - couldn't tell if your yes was to that or not.
never mind!
So they go to pantos without children?! No wonder they were good with T! Was it the Gala? We're going to book one for next year

geordieminx · 30/12/2008 19:38

Nah, no worries SPB, there are pics of me and C on my profile.

Any private stuff about fruit shoots/cross dressing/sausage rolls I change into my alter ego

StealthPoHoHoHo · 30/12/2008 19:39

I know - we have to drive 15/20 mins so it's not really that different. Suppose I just assume everyone up there goes to CLS or Gateshead/

NorthernLurker · 30/12/2008 19:39

Ooooh how lovely

geordieminx · 30/12/2008 19:40

Panto at gala is great - quite a lot of inuendos/adult humour

They got tickets for £5 as there is a credit crunch dont ya know

StealthPoHoHoHo · 30/12/2008 20:12

OH NO THERE ISN'T

geordieminx · 30/12/2008 20:16

Just spoken to mum - she was very taken with T and said you and DH were a lovely couple!!

StealthPoHoHoHo · 30/12/2008 20:19

Ah thanks.
Although I think she may have been bribed with a half sucked tortilla.

(Can't take DH anywhere! )

DingdongmerrilyonDOO · 30/12/2008 20:51

Hello
Happy Christmas
Happy New Year

Hope everyone is well - have read thru' and got the gist of some stuff!

Busy busy here - started new job in November - teaching in Bristol.

Ernie is just adorable at the moment - have taught him to say 'big bum' and he says it at the best of times!!!! He loves chocolate and is music mad.

The bigger boys are doing just fine.

Christmas was lovely.

Have a great 2009 - keep me posted with any new arrivals! (or pgs)

liath · 30/12/2008 22:04

Hi all.

Belated happy brithday to GM. That's so funny your mum bumping into SPB . Small world or what!

Caz, IKWYM about feeling a bit wistful about never being pg again, or having a newborn.

Christmas was fairly fraught. Various family members flouncing/taking offence etc etc. Standard stuff when we all get together, sadly. I was rude to my mum on Boxing day and she stopped talking to me . God, it was like we were all teenagers again. The kids had a fabulous time though, which is the main thing.

Have all the inlaws here now, but they are a lot less touchy than my lot! All I have to do is provide mountains of food for the teenage nephew to guzzle and in return he and my niece spend all day entertaining dd and ds. Result!

Octothechildherder · 30/12/2008 22:52

Read SPB in the telegraph! LOL

Took me ages to figure out what moldies were! Are any april mummies a moldie???

Octothechildherder · 30/12/2008 22:52

Or is it a secret??!!! rofl

CaptainDippy · 31/12/2008 00:03

Oooooh, nice to "see" you Octo

I'm off to bed, shattered!!

StealthPoHoHoHo · 31/12/2008 08:05

Morning everyone
Nice to see you octo
sorry about Christmas liath, sounds stressful

NorthernLurker · 31/12/2008 08:37

Liath - that sounds grim! Glad you're having a better time now. Dh's family are also much less errr'volatile' than my own (who are very lovely nonethelesss) and so there is sometimes quite a contrast!

Octo - afaik none of the April gang are moldies

Octo - did you catch up with all the babies - maybe we should have a list?

2HCB is expecting in August I think as is Nutty I believe?

Leaky is due some time before that - Leaky please fill in your date!

Oooggs and Elkie are due by the end of next month (eeeeek!)

Vio had a little girl in the autumn.

Now who have I forgotten.....

CaptainDippy · 31/12/2008 10:02

You're good NL!!

Octothechildherder · 31/12/2008 12:27

Just read to the end of your post after the excitement of people having babies! I knew about all of those - there must be more

Great news about Vio

StealthPoHoHoHo · 31/12/2008 13:34

I'm trying octo, I'm trying!
BTW that quote in the Telegraph was said by someone else - they just messed up all the quotes

StealthPoHoHoHo · 31/12/2008 16:18

Wow for the first time ever T has got home from nursery and not demanded a feed [wibbly ]

DingdongmerrilyonDOO · 31/12/2008 16:33

Ah SPB...Quite a milestone I expect.I am still putting off M having his 1st haircut, though that might be because I am scared he will have huge tantrum and hold breath
