scorpio1 · 21/10/2008 11:46

Added Mimi's middle names, whoop whoop!

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 11:58

Hi Scorpio Lovely names btw. My 'puter would never have coped if I'd have tried to copy all the names so thanks for that (tbh I also forgot )
DH went off this morning with 45 Year 9 students (rather him than me) so I think that calls for Chinese takeaway & white wine and I get the bed to myself - bliss

scorpio1 · 21/10/2008 11:59

Sounds wonderful! DH is away this weekend which is cool...off to see Zac.

Gong out with some friends tomorrow night, should plan something for weekend i guess!

VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 21/10/2008 12:01

Oh shit. You've just reminded me DP is on night shifts all weekend

scorpio1 · 21/10/2008 12:03

It's not fun VS, is it?

Peachy · 21/10/2008 12:04

Morning bas munching so can't stay long (marmite on gf bread, he loves it)

had a terrible night- woke to a horrid muffled screech at 3am, ds3 had woken and wandered into my room and was asleep on Bas's head

he has no idea so have to find some Solutions but short of locking him in his room- ? I already have bas with me at night. Poor bas would have been gone if I hadn't been right next to him- so close ( yes, ds3 would possibly climb inside a cot to snugglr up to the baby- he adores him)

may have to alarm ds3's bedroom now, might be easier t combine him with ds1 then who is already alarmed. HATE that idea, but needs must

bugger

scorpio1 · 21/10/2008 12:06

Can't lock doors, Peachy, fires and stuff....door alarm best idea me thinks.

Mimi is going to have rice cake with marmite and bits of mango today

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:18

Poor you VSSnS & good for you Scorpio
Peachy - yep it looks as though you´ll have to put them in together I suppose. It´s lovely that he adores him but safety first.
DS1 tried on his Hallowe'en costume on at the weekend. I´ll see if I can put piccie on profile.

OP posts:
FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:21

Think I´ve managed it.

OP posts:
FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:22

Nope! Bugger! Although none of my photos are under this nickname can anyone help?

OP posts:
VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 21/10/2008 12:26

We have a little contact alarm on the front door. It's so simple, as soon as the door is opened it goes off but you can just flick the switch to turn it off. I'd probably get one of those. I can see why it doesn't feel nice but it's for everyone's safety no? Sometimes we have to do things that leave a nasty after taste for the good of our family.

xxxx

VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 21/10/2008 12:28

Go to mumnset reg, sign in and go to public details. On there will be profile mover page (this link may work, or not www.mumsnet.com/member/MemberPage?call=com.mumsnet.member.ProfileMover) then just choose your old name to move to your new name.

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:28

OK think I've done it now.

OP posts:
VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 21/10/2008 12:29

Nope, lol.

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:30

Bugger - am trying the profile mover one more time then if not will have to resort to old name

OP posts:
FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:31

Hurraaahhhh

OP posts:
FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 12:32

scorpio1 · 21/10/2008 12:43

Pic of Mimi having lunch today!

Peachy · 21/10/2008 12:58

We've got a contact alarm on ds1's door, ds2 gets botred so switches it off (hence on a Wii ban today- again). I wouldn't lock the foors- behaviourala dvisors have told us to in the past but I couldn't, i'd rather stay up all night keeping watch- too scared of fire / illness etc.

BIL is an alarm specialist but of course isn't talking to us becuase of whole MIL debacle.

Somebody aid when ds3 got his talking a bit better the behaviours would kick in: got a SALT report yesterday showing an improvement (but apparently they've dx'd physical talking stuff now so he still can't be understood) in cognition and guess what- he was in trouble at school yesterday and this alst night . I often wonder where they keep the instruction book coz they all fit the stereotypes, and why they won't ley me borrow it .

I'll sort it. There's a way I'm sure.

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 13:30

Scorpio - she's just so gorgeous
Peachy - If anyone can find a way to sort it, you can

theirmum · 21/10/2008 13:46

Hi All so lovely to see the pics of the babies they have all grown so much! Peachy what a nightmare must admit though even my DS1 (who is 4) has no concept of what will hurt DS2 I know your situation is not the same but sometimes it nice to know other kids are the same .

Well DS2 is still not on solids - although he wishes he was, he tries to eat everything if he sees you with food he tries to take it from you lol! think will start weaning him on Monday when DS1 is on half term and away in Dubia with my mum and dad (lucky thing oh to be 4) need to get him a highchair bought him a chair from Kiddicare but the bloody thing collapes back when he is sitting in it so thats going back on Saturday!

I am still suffering from PND somedays are a lot better than others Modays seem to be the worse think its because all of a sudden its just me and DS2 again but I am getting better Also was made redundant at the beginning of September - they just stopped paying my SMP so am now trying to get that back from the inland rev (not easy)

ThePFJ · 21/10/2008 13:58

Jack pooed over EVERTHING this morning. Had to plonk him in the kitchen sink for emergency wash before he started sucking those fingers..... Shudder.

Have to trim baby Jack's nails every few days now as baby scratches now an issue near his eyes - am using baby nail scissors with rounded tip.

Other half is out working again today... yay! (We met an old friend of DPs in the street the other day, who was desperate to have intelligent conversation with some people... apparently we count in this catagory.... er... LOL anyway he has asked DP to work on days his electronics firm needs extra hand and DP has done 2 days in a row so far... he says may be a full time post in Easter for DP)

My cats ate my fern last night. o.O

xxx

FrankenSoph73 · 21/10/2008 13:59

Lovely to hear from you theirmum Glad to hear that the PND is better. I suffered with it with DS1. Fortunately it didn't last long so hope it passes soon Don't envy you having to deal with the inland revenue. What a lucky DS1 ... international jetsetter at 4, fabulous
