he said he really liked my home which made me not want to move!!! But he said I'll hear from the estate agent in the next couple of days

SalLikesCoffee · 21/10/2008 18:14

Hehe. Oh well, you still don't have to, but your plan to potentially buy when you find the perfect place sounds good. Fingers crossed.

MommyHasaHeadache · 21/10/2008 18:15

Hello all - I made it back to gym today - 1st day in a week! Hope I can walk tomorrow! It was really good though - felt great after the class.

Sal - sorry to hear you and DH have been so poorly. I do hope it was just a dodge meal and not a bug, but feel I have to warn you that there is a bug going around - friends of mine have just had it.

And yes - Gigi loved the lobster pot - we are def getting one for her. I have seen one that folds flat for storing, so think we will go for that one.

The PFJ, sorry - don't know anything about anything about weepy eyes, but hope like the HV says, it is nothing.

DH going for a sinus op on the 1 Nov, and had to go for pre op assesment today. Gigi and I went with and she had such a lovely long nap - maybe the hospital was comforting for her? Brings back horrible memories for me though! But at least this time I didn't cry! When I went for my 8 week check there, I started bawling as soon as I entered the building and didn't stop - very embarrassing!

Good luck with viewing Knitter - let us know how it went.

VS - any more news on Granny?

KnitterInTheNW · 21/10/2008 18:15

We really need more space, so it's a case of having to. It's a rel shame there's no way we can extent this house, cos I love it.

MommyHasaHeadache · 21/10/2008 18:15

Hmm why didn't that strike out??

KnitterInTheNW · 21/10/2008 18:22

I think you have to put hyphens round each word?

SalLikesCoffee · 21/10/2008 18:23

Hehehe - you have to do it after each individual word. Rather annoying, isn't it?! Hmm, will share the bug news with dh - hope R don't get it!!!

ThePFJ · 21/10/2008 18:24

DP is late home. Hope the lobsters haven't eaten him.

VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 21/10/2008 18:28

As I've just posted on another thread, I'm taking a break, I'm not flouncing, or disappearing.
I will of course be e-mailable/facebookable (sorry pedants) and probably still reading but I'm not in the best place to be particularly helpful or tactful right now so I shall leave you to it.
I just thought I should tell you lot rather than just bugger orf!
Speak soon.

I think some babies can have a prob with tear duct but it wouldnt just start now it would have been a from birth prob. I think if ur worried it wont hurt to get gp/nurse to do quick check.

Denny185 · 21/10/2008 18:49

omg dont know why that posted there and not ages ago in answer to pfjs eye question???

MommyHasaHeadache · 21/10/2008 18:50

MommyHasaHeadache · 21/10/2008 18:54

Opps!!! Sorry - ignore - posted on the wrong thread! lol

ThePFJ · 21/10/2008 18:55

VS - wanted you to know that when my friend the scientist first persuaded me to come on mumsnet for some company while I was pregnant, yours was the first name she mentioned, she then later told me how lucky I was that you were posting on my thread. I don't know if it cheers you up a bit, but seems to me you are famous in the mumsnet world and that should make you warm inside. I am sure you've made a huge difference on here.

Take a break and we'll be here for you anytime hun.

ThePFJ · 21/10/2008 18:57

Denny its been like it from birth, and its been swabbed loads at the hospital to check for infection and there is never any. Can I assume its a tearduct prob and it'll go away eventually? Just its been extra runny lately and its made me ask....

Thanks babes

Denny185 · 21/10/2008 18:58

LOL MHAH glad its not just me.

Hope ur feeling better soon VS

Knitter, sounds promising

Denny185 · 21/10/2008 19:00

If its been from birth it prob is related to tear duct, they do clear eventually but not sure of time frame. If it starts to look more gunky or any sign of green would get it checked again even if its been swabbed b4.
