Hi all!
First off congratulations to those of you who've lost weight! I am adding myself to the list as today was my first day of cutting the crap from my diet. Treadmill arrives tomorrow so fingers crossed the fat will start to come off. I found it so easy to lose the weight after ds1 and ds2 but it's just not happening this time around. The weights not just on my tummy either - I've got a fat ass and thunder thighs to boot!

I hate my tummy too. I've never had a section but my skin is prone to stretch marks so you can imagine what it looks like after 3 babies. I don't really like DH touching it but he doesn't really care. I don't think most decent men would care as you've carried their babies after all.
Ginger - that must be a real worry about your dd2. She does seem to acknowledge she has issues though which must be a start? It's funny how we think kids get easier as they get older but in actual fact I think it's probably more of a worry as they get older and you have less influence over what they do.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do about contraception yet. Don't really fancy going back on the pill again but not ready to do anything permanent yet either. I'm going to make an appointment with the family planning clinic at my surgery. We're using condoms at the moment but wouldn't want to rely on that long term.
Hope you enjoyed your day Egg! How did the babies get on? I know what you mean about running around doing stuff when you're on your own. DH took all 3 boys for a walk last week and I ran around cleaning the entire time they were out. Within 24hrs the house was a complete tip again - don't know why I bother
Cav - my lo is like yours (with the daytime sleep not nighttime - am very ). If you put him down for a nap awake he just screams and screams. If you put him down asleep he's awake within 5 minutes. So it's the sling or on my lap or in car seat or buggy if we're out. I've actually found he sleeps better outside so was putting him in the buggy and taking him outside with me whilst the older 2 were out in the garden playing when the weather was nice last week.
I agree with you Gill I think I would have to be a bit more cautious with the alcohol. Haven't really been much of a drinker since we had the kids and really couldn't cope with the 3 of them with a hangover! Did have a glass of wine at the weekend though which was VERY nice but didn't want ds3 to get drunk so stuck to one.
Wish I could come and meet up with you all but think I'm a tad far away!!
Went to get ds1 and ds2 feet measured today and had to get both of them new shoes - £58 for both of them - it's so expensive!!
I've booked into a baby massage course which my local surgery runs. It runs for 5 one hour sessions and only costs £1 for the entire course. So we'll see how that is but it will be nice to get some time with just me and the lo.
Sorry for the long post! Am off to watch tv without my normal pile of junk food - I do have a kiwi and a plum though - yipee!
