Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/04/2008 19:45

Oooh, am liking this (with black trousers)

Also, I have some red shoes, so that would be another problem solved.

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/04/2008 19:47

Nice. I love red shoes. Always makes me feel special wearing red shoes.

RiaisMaLarkin · 02/04/2008 20:03

that's nice jammy, I would need a v-nech though due to chest issues.

I love those tops bumper picked, but I aren't keen on short sleeves and like my bum to be covered.

I know who to ask re christening outfit t hough

RiaisMaLarkin · 02/04/2008 20:24

Has everyone seen the Walkers Brit Trips promo? You save points from multipacks by registering online and can get discount /free passes for days out/holidays and stuff.

We eat too many crisps

Sputnik · 02/04/2008 20:34

Right, I love a good style challenge
Back in a min....

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/04/2008 20:35

Mmm - crisps. Am just chilling a bottle of wine. Wish I had some crisps too. Wine & Easter egg just doesn't go.

HellHathNoFury · 02/04/2008 20:42

Night then all

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/04/2008 20:44

G'night Fury.

Sputnik · 02/04/2008 20:50

Sputnik · 02/04/2008 20:51

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/04/2008 21:31

Thanks for the suggestions girls. DH has persuaded me that we shouls go out shopping at the weekend, so I can see things "in the flesh" and try different things on. Am determined to be a bit more daring than usual and not end up with a black blouse.

Sputnik · 02/04/2008 21:38

this goes up to a 22

as does this

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/04/2008 21:44

jammy lots of those tops look fab

RiaisMaLarkin · 03/04/2008 10:27

I like that black debenhams top sputnik.

Happy day here - DS2 slept all night in his own bed again (only dummies and pulls ups left to deal with), and DS1 thinks he might feel better

DS2 has invited the little girl from down the street to play after lunch. She talks a lot and he can't remember her name. They are going in the garden with DH

Are you ok fury?

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/04/2008 10:43

Hi everyone, we're back from my parents'. DS's bum still not great but seems to be getting better at long last . DD also seems to have avoided the pox, for now.

It has been very quiet on here recently. Are RL's taking over?

Sorry you are feeling low Ria, I hope things pick up soon.

Bumper, I'm glad your first day back went well.

Yay for Foxy's clean house and parented DCs

Jammy, I really liked almost all of those tops, I hope you find something lovely

Sorry, have forgotten everything else

foxythesnowman · 03/04/2008 10:57

Hi Fairy, and everyone.

Just waved DP off again until Sunday.

LO still asleep, older children out at their various institutions, so am having my last morning of almost childless-ness for two weeks. I shall disappear again in half an hour to do nursery run. I am then tackling the conservatory this afternoon (its a shit-pit. I've chucked all the crap in there, so the house is clean. The dirt transferred. )And putting clothes away. So I shouldn't be back until tomorrow!

How is everyone? Fury? Are you lurking?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 03/04/2008 11:15

Hi all. Trying to keep quiet today, as DH working from home (practising for an exam tomorrow). Easier said than done, of course. Still, another hour or so and we'll be going out for the afternoon.

Good luck with the conservatory Foxy. I'm impressed you're making the effort to sort it out and not just wallowing in the tidiness of the rest of the house.

HellHathNoFury · 03/04/2008 11:24

Hi All

Hi Foxy... been intermittently lurking
Hi Ria... I am kind of ok, thank you for asking

I have been a bit down, I have felt very very lonely, a bit like 'if I wasn't here, would anyone actually notice?'

I suspect everyone gets like that. Odd for me as I am usually very positive and cheerful even when I don't want to be. Just feeling a bit down lately.

I have just had 2 days off work with sickness too which probably hasn't helped.

foxythesnowman · 03/04/2008 11:40

Er, well you weren't here Fury and I noticed, and I'm sure everyone else did.

My cleaning frenzy is part of my new exercise regime!

foxythesnowman · 03/04/2008 11:41

Come on Fury .... tell us all about it

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/04/2008 11:44

what's up Fury?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 03/04/2008 11:46

Hugs, Fury. That doesn't sound like you.

HellHathNoFury · 03/04/2008 11:59

ooh Foxy Hobnobs are my fave

I dunno - maybe it's hormones but I have just been feeling ever so low lately.
There is nothing that needs to be 'fixed' per se, just feeling very flat. DH is great, DS is a sod ( the GP describes him as 'a challenging baby') but he is quite comical.

But overall if you were too look at my life you'd be like 'pah what on earth have you got to be down about?!' and you'd be right, I have very little to be low about, but I still am.

I think really it's just loneliness. You know how you can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. Well it's like that. I am sure it will go soon.

HellHathNoFury · 03/04/2008 12:05

but you know I think EVERYONE has times like this, it's only natural, so I am ok... just plodding on. It will pass.
Wishing the weather will be good at the weekend so I can have some quality time with DS and DH. That'd cheer me up.
