Actually nearly ALL of my bfing knowledge has come from mumsnet. I just seem to have found something I am passionate about, which is why I am so fecked off that DH's work are stopping me going to bfing group.

Defo considering bfc training though. Going to get settled back into work first.

I think friday is just worse too because you are aware that there is little support over the weekend so you start getting a bit edgy about seemingly minor things.

Sputnik, it is definitely worse getting DS2 to bed if he has a nap (he did in the car today). He often gets seriously arsey and needs one after nursery but hasn't had a "proper" nap for ages and has been going to bed better, but it can still takes ages, even with lavender baths, stories, soothing music (bought especially from the Music Tots lady) and a proper bedtime routine. He sleeps better if he has something sugary after tea though[hmm[(bad mummy). I think my boys just have seriously active imaginations (now who do I know like that?) and there'sno hope. DS1 wanted to discuss why his burps tasted funny tong=ight - 10 minutes after he'd been "put" to bed. I can't give a fecking scientific reason for everything!!!

I have just read that article I was on about last night about Claire from Steps. Poor girl. If I'd known they were put under that kind of pressure to look like that I would never have bought their album. It must be awful to starve yourself to look as good as she did and still feel like "the fat one".

I have to admit - looking at baggins 4 huge teeth that look like he hasn't bothered with milk teeth and just gone straight to adult ones - that I made the bottles tonight with a huge sense of relief. I am very proud of myself for feeding as long as I did, and I am in awe of those of you who are still doing it, and offering support to others. Well done you.

I better shut down and go to bed. Fingers crossed it's my turn for a lie-in tomorrow (I usually wake up anyway and can' get back to sleep) and DD is still in our room at the moment to mitigate the night waking . I have no doubt I will wake before dh so he will get a swift kick in the shin!

my DD never wears shoes - even ornamental ones....she goes out in socks which she usually pulls off but is either somewhere warm (home, nursery) or is in her cosytoes. If its bloody cold, I put tights on under her trousers...she can't get them off

Having a shit time atm so am mainly just lurking....but for once (touch wood) DD isn't ill....FF / Fury hope LOs get better soon, its so fucking exhausting looking after ill babies....let alone siblings / work etc

No shoes here either. I have one pair of lovely starchild shoes (from ebay) but no others. And DD doesn't even have a cosy toes just blankets as I am too tight to buy one!

My bump wobbles now - there is something missing.

baggins has 2 pair of soft shoe things - 1 pair £2.99 from Adams (his xmas gift from DS2) and some my sis sent from Kuwait. SOmewhere I have a gorgeous pair of Kiwi soft leather things that my sis sent from NZ when DS1 was tiny. Would say a big NO to Clarks for now - they'll get enough cash out of us all later on.

I don't get the point of this now, Clarkson has ceased to be funny.

I'm ok just on some fucking treadmill I can't get off...am off ADs and don't know if its sensible...feeling very emotional for no apparent reason (NOT pg!)....think its family things that are playing on my mind...how can the death of my dad (over 2 years ago) affect family dynamics SO much? Just goes to show how one person can hold a family together...I miss him very much and am just having a wobbly time I think...(Daisy, sorry, don't mean to be insensitive..

Ahh you go ahead Norty. Babies change things. Certainly make me think about my family/parents/relationships. You've been through a lot lately, not only having a baby, but going back to work, ill DD. That's a lot in less than a year. Perhaps if you are questioning coming off ADs then it might not be the time just yet?

norty sorry things are rough for you at the moment I think you hit a bit of a wall about this time when the relentlessness of it all gets to you. I feel a bit like that at the mo endless nappy changing and making and claering up from meals

I hope knowing that you can do that helps norty. I think it made sense what you were saying. I think my mum still has times where she struggles without her mum (she had virtually become her carer) and it's been 4 years. It's a big step stpping ADs too. Hope you have a nice restful weekend.

I have cleaner my entrance hall this morning. Why does the general filthy lived-in-ness of my house bother me so much when my Dad is on the doorstep?

So I have washed the floor and will pack away the winter mat, so no doubt it will snow this afternoon and my floor will be covered in wet shoes. I will have to scrub the walls soon, but it's just a little bit too early to start my Spring Cleaning. (I need a life).
