Well?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Sputnik · 28/03/2008 20:29

I thought maybe it was something they all did, as DD clapped other people's hands too.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 28/03/2008 20:30

I'm lurking too! I tried to post earlier, but ds ripped one of my favourite books and I had to fix it. That'll teach me to try and MN!

Happy Birthday to bumper and to fairy to yesterday. Hope you had/are having fabby days.

Glad you are feeling better jammy.

Just checked out the Next sale online. What a pile of shit. I shan't be up early tomorrow to get any bargains, coz there aint none!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 28/03/2008 20:34

William claps sometimes and is just starting to wave, but he does a really cool thing that dd did too. He gets your hand and puts it over his mouth repeatedly and makes an "ahhhhh" sound. So he goes "ah..ah..ah..ah.."! 'Tis very funny, but he tries to bite your hand after a while...then it's not so funny!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 28/03/2008 20:46

That sounds really cute Holly.

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 20:46

That sounds cute Holly. Funny how they do these things the same as their big sisters/brothers. Yours obviously have the "ah ah" gene, mine have the "clap someone else's hand" gene.

FrazzledFairyFay · 28/03/2008 20:48

that sounds very cute, Holly

foxythesnowman · 28/03/2008 21:32

Happy Birthday Bumper!

Happy Birthday for yesterday FairyFay!

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 21:39

Oi Foxy, how's it going?

foxythesnowman · 28/03/2008 21:45

OK thanks. Been busy. Baking. Had a cake stall today. Funny this talk about competitive mummys, wait til you get to the playground

foxythesnowman · 28/03/2008 21:47

Trying to juggle baby, tub of Fossil Fuel and type!

Hows tricks Sptnik?

RiaisMaLarkin · 28/03/2008 22:00

Happy birthday bumper. Hope you had yourself a good day.

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 22:01

Not bad. It might have stopped raining here.

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 22:04

Just wondering where you'd got to Ria.

Is it possible Baby Sputnik has developed reflux? He wakes at night and gets upset til I sit him up, whereupon he falls straight back to sleep. Don't think it's ears, dc checked them last week. Been like this for a couple of weeks. I thought reflux was a sall baby thing.

foxythesnowman · 28/03/2008 22:05

My PC is playing up, so I'm going to switch it off before I chuck it at the wall.

Hope everyone is well. I'm off to bed, my tum is full of ice cream. That ice cream I bought for the children 'cos it has ickle dinosaurs in. Of which there is none left. Because I ate it all. In two sittings.

foxythesnowman · 28/03/2008 22:08

I don't know Sputnik. I immediately thought ears. Its usually nose or ears isn't it? Hope he is OK, sorry I can't be of any help.

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 22:08

small baby even.
Now he's fussing again....

Sputnik · 28/03/2008 22:17

So is Fossil Fuel the dino ice cream? Was wondering what you were on about!
What will they think of next?

RiaisMaLarkin · 28/03/2008 22:20

sorry I don't know anything sputnik, other than kids do strange things. And I'm sober for once.

Tis nice to be missed - though it isn't THAT long since I posted is it?

Baggins got up early so I finished painting DS1s room, then drove all three DCs to vivit my sis and go to the supermarket (OK it's only a 15-20 min drive, but it's the furthest I've been on my own for ages, and there is a new road).

Last night DH was watching Lord of the Rings and baggins was beside himself with Bilbos party - he is a true hobbit!

RiaisMaLarkin · 28/03/2008 22:35

I'm so tired I can't see straight. I'm off. (Was supposed to go to the opticians for my new lenses today but forgot)

Have a good weekend everyone

BumperliciousAteTooManyEggs · 29/03/2008 06:51

Morning all. I am up because we had a power cut of something last night and something was bleeping periodically in the fecking night. Turns out it was the wireless phone, but I only discovered that after unplugging various appliances and fretting that it might be the carbon monoxide detector in the baby's room. So now I am awake and for once the baby isn't.

Sputnik, DD has been waking up in the night recently, and not for any apparent reason, she just wants a cuddle to get back to sleep. A bit of pre-emptive calpol solved it last night though. Bad mummy? Not that it fecking helped me!

My birthday was ok. Yesterday was a bit boring. My mum came up for a few hours and obviously just wanted to play with the baby, and the weather was shite, so that was a bit boring. Plus I felt so knackered. I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. But last night we went to an all-you-can-eat chinese buffet and it was yum. There were 20 of us plus two babies which was very validating, reminding me that I do have RL friends. Although it was quite stressful as not everyone knew each other and you always feel like you are ignoring someone. Still, I was centre of attention which is my favourite place to be I'm so needy!

RiaisMaLarkin · 29/03/2008 15:35

Yippee, my house guests have gone!!! (Have only dealt with friends partner though, maybe F not talking to me because of my childish outburst? Only time will tell.)

It's very quiet on here today. No RL to be had here as it's rainy now after a gorgeous morning. The only good thing is I've finished the decorating and related tidying, so we are putting the stuff back in DS1s room now, so we might be able to get the house back to normal soon.

We are going for a drive to look at the sea soon, as we can't get out for a walk.

RiaisMaLarkin · 29/03/2008 21:37

Blimey, where is everyone?

are you all hiding on a new thread?

Bumperlicious · 30/03/2008 10:21

Hellooooo

Is anybody out there?

DD woke up at 10, 2 and 3 last night for now discernible reason. I think I am going to take her to the dr's next week after the not breathing incident.

FrazzledFairyFay · 30/03/2008 14:39

blimey, where's everyone gone?

RiaisMaLarkin · 30/03/2008 17:46

I'm still here afetr a brief break to take DS1 to the out of hours GP at A&E last night and a trip out to a local small stately home (where I wasn't allowed to take the buggy into the house to go to the craft fair - health and safety) with my sis and her DCs this afternoon. This almost RL thing is exhausting
