OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:09

Lordy, I am tiiiiiirrrred!

Its been like Christmas here - lovely Annobal donated her breadmaker to me, and her microwave, and now DPs birthday present to me has just turned up (GHD Hairstraighteners - which I wasn't going to get because I wanted a breadmaker more). AND I've eaten too much chocolate. Yep, just like Crimbo.

My baby is a bit under par. She was awake rooting around for most of the night. Wasn't helped by DD coming into bed because she'd wee'd in hers. She told me she put a pull up on, didn't know I had to check. Tsk!

Daisy, my understanding is that the male sperm lives fast and dies young. So needs to meet an egg pronto. Female sperm takes its time. So, if you ovulate after more likely to be girl. I think.

TBH I wouldn't trust a word I say today.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 12:18

Bless lovely annobal and her wonderful gifts! Dd loves her "big girl bed" soooo much!

Foxy, can you have a power nap? I had one yesterday and felt 100xs better.

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:21

Power nap? But then I'd miss The Tweenies Christmas Special.

Where's the sherry?

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:22

Hello Holly

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 12:25

Oh dear foxy, I missed Peppa Pig buying new shoes when I had a nap yesterday, I feel your pain!

Poo, my son stinks!

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:32

How's DD getting on in her big girls bed?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 12:36

Really well, she does stay up playing a lot more than when she was in a cot though! She has only wet the bed once since she got it as well, so I'm very proud of her!

When is your birthday? Are you allowed to play with your ghds yet?

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:42

I'm saving them! Another couple of weeks.

DD also stays up late playing, but if she's in her room I don't care

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2008 12:44

Hi Holly, Foxy.
Your gifts sound great. Hoorah for Annobal

Still in PJs here . Will get dressed once I've had a bath after some lunch, once the water has heated up. But definitely feeling better

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 12:48

Glad you are feeling better jammy, a bath always does me the world of good when I am poorly (oh and some boiled eggs and soldiers!).

I'm the same foxy, I'm not too concerned if dd plays in her room rather than going to sleep. I like to stand outside her room where she can't see me and listen to her chattering away to her toys! She has very deep conversations with them!

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 12:52

Aren't they great? She gets all self-conscious though if she catches me. Bless.

Glad you are on the mend Jammy!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 12:54

Oops, I've just polished off my last Lindt Bunny ! Now to start on the dcs' eggs!

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 13:57

Taking DS1 (with all the other DCs in tow because DH is going out searching for work and Hipp formula, and there is no room in the fecking waiting room for the buggy) to the Drs later. He is doubled up with stomach ache, almost in tears, only a little bit of D on Sunday and isn't eating (though it turns out he had a ham omelette for breakfast) I am going to look stupid I know but I can't cope with the rest of the holidays like this. The GPs are decorating their living room so I can't dump the others on them either.

If he has nothing wrong with him I will trek them round the country lane on the way home and see if there are any lambs left. That will be three trips into the village and back today - I wish I had my pedometer on

I am doing really well not stealing the kids easter eggs (if you don't count the tiny 5 mini creme eggs I ate last night), we even have a Lindt reindeer in the fridge

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:22

Poor DS1 Ria! Hope he is ok.

Have you checked Hipp.co.uk? You can buy online I think.

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:24

here Ria

lackaDAISYcal · 26/03/2008 14:27

right you lovely lot, I'm off, leaving the kitchen in a right old state and piles of half attended laundry all over the house for DH when he ets back tomorrow. But, if we don't leave now we're going to hit rush hour in Newcastle...not the most pleasant driving experience.

I'll see you all next weekend

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:28

Bye Daisy! Have a good trip. Look after yourself. (That's an order by the way!) xx

lackaDAISYcal · 26/03/2008 14:29

oh bless; I've just gone to get the DCs ready and DD is fast asleep on the living room floor with her bum in the air. She's been a bit flat today and is spoiling for a cold I think. poor poppet.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 14:32

Have a lovely time daisy, we'll miss you!

Foxy, have you seen Yo Gabba Gabba? WTF?! 'Tis mental and obv written by drug soaked insaniacs!

Hope ds is ok ria.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 14:32

Awww daisy, I love that! Make sure you take a pic to show future boyfriends!

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:33

It is mad! And wasn't that small Hollywood actor on it? The one in Lord of the Rings?

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:34

Its official. We have a top tooth.

And I have done 5 loads of washing today.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 14:37

Really? It is crazy! That skinny black man gives me the creeps and so does that green monster thing with extra long arms !

I won a comp the other day for some salmon luke stuff and I've just got it. Two bowls and a cutlery set. we'll see if it works at dinner time, ds usually just throws all his food and the bowl on the floor!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 14:38

5 loads I did 3 the yesterday and it took up my whole day!

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 14:42

Thanks foxy. Trouble is I need it tonight. I might have to change (which I don't want to do) to something all the other shops sell (although having been in 9 shops this morning the selection is in now way consistent!) DH has gone to sainsbos ...

I don't suppose guinea pig allergy can cause chronic stomach ache? I am quite concern (though somewhat irritated as he is just like a crochety old man. 10 mins before we need to get ready and it looks like it's going to p* it down.

By small hollywood actor do you mean Sean Astin?
