Well?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:47

Dunno a.bout the allergy. How many did he eat?

I think his name begins with an E

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:48

Seems you have to buy that formula in bulk. But it does work out much cheaper. I've seen it at £8.50 in a poncy organic shop here!

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 14:52

It's just under £5 in the tesco we usually go to, but as DH had to go to the jobcentre we did our shopping in that town.

at the Gpigs.

Time to get organised...

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 14:56

me too. Tennis.

WTF don't I leave this to the Alfa mums?

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 15:00

shittyshiteshite.

the dryers packed up.

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 16:10

oh bugger foxy, with all that washing you've done too.

DS1 has migraines. Am off to look it up...

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 17:33

Poor DS1 Ria. Migraines are horrid.

Dryer still broken. Was hoping it had overheated and be working again. Alas, no.

On top of that I've lost the car key. So we had to walk. It has been pissing down for the last hour and half.

Fuckittyfuckfuck.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2008 17:36

So much for me having a bath this afternoon Jamlet was overtired and whingey so a bath would have been pretty miserable as all I'd have heard would be "wah wah wah" coming loudly from downstairs. Also, my brave choice of cereal with milk for lunch was a bit foolish, and I've had a gurgling tum all afternoon, with several trips to the loo, so kind of wanted to get that over before having the nice cleansing experience of a long soak. Ah well. Plain potato for tea it is then

Foxy, well done on all the washing, bummer about the dryer. Ria, hope LO is OK.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2008 17:37

X post there Foxy - double bummer about the key!

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 17:53

I'm bored.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2008 17:55

Me too Ria. And I've got 2 hours work to do later

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 18:06

that's not nice when you're still ill jammy.

I wonder if DH will let me visit my parents before the little tykes go to bed. I need some fresh air that doesn't have children's voices in it. It has been a silly sort of day today, and I don't suppose tomorrow will be any better, though I might try to convince DH to let us go with him into town (another damned trip to the jobcentre - PITA.)

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 18:18

"Fresh air that doesn't have childrens voices in it". What a great way of putting it. I know exactly what you mean.

Twas the fuse. Am dancing

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2008 18:31

Must be the night for fuses. I just had to change one in a lamp.

And totally know what you mean about wanting that fresh air, Ria I'm definitely suffering from cabin fever here.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 18:44

Oh bugger foxy, you are not having a good day are you? Glad the drier was just a fuse.

Hope the potato stays down jammy!

Hope you get some child free air ria

Ds ate a massive bowl of shepherds' pie for dinner. It is the most he has ever eaten and the first time he has eaten anything but finger foods on his own. He used a spoon and everything!

He is now spitting all over dd's aquadraw mat!

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 19:06

nice holly.

RiaisMaLarkin · 26/03/2008 19:08

DH managed to get the hipp formula from sainsbos. I knew I wanted to go there instead of tesco the other day.

Holly, I was wondering last night (I was awake a lot what with my cold and baggins), the no carrier bag thing you sold on ebay last year - have you ever seen anyone using one?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:14

I've only seen one person ever with one ria. I was thinking about buying one from ebay and using it! I like them, but when I sold them they were going for about £80, so I had to sell them really.

Does anyone want to come round and do my washing up for me? I made shepherds' pie, so have loads of pans and stuff to wash. I have to make a veggie one and a meat one, so I always end up with twice as much washing up as everyone else. I want a dishwasher !

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 20:15

WOW for DS Holly. Am very, very impressed!

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2008 20:20

Hello everyone

We have some of those bowls and cutlery Holly. Haven't tried them with DS yet but DD loves them and they do make her less messy.

Foxy, Wow at 5 loads of washing, I;m glad the dryer issue is sorted

Jammy, I hope the food stays put

Lilkel, if you pop back, hellooooo

Everyone else, hellooooooooooooo

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:20

I was impressed too, I'm sure it was the new cutlery and bowl. It's really good because it doesn't slip off the highchair and the spoon is really chunky and easy to hold and the little corner things on the bowl are easy to get into. Most of it got shoved in his mouth with his hands, but he used the spoon for some. There was only a few peas and a piece of carrot on the floor too. Usually I have to get the hoover out after dinner!

I'm bored and can't face the wahing up yet. Dp got paid today, so I might spend some of his "hard earned" cash!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:22

Hi FF! I thought it was you that had that cutlery too. It's fab! Glad I won it and didn't have to pay for it though, 'tis tres expensive!

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 20:23

how did you win it?

did dp get that job?

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2008 20:23

DS nearly choked yesterday on one of DD's plastic kitchen items. It was bigger than I'd ever think he could get in his mouth. I didn't see it go in but he suddenly started making choking noises and being sick. It was REALLY frightening, and took a while to hook it out. Just a warning really to please be really, really careful what the little one's can get - as I said, I thought this piece was big eneough to be safe but I was wrong.

He is suffering a lot recently - he's got rid of the D&V but woke up with a temp this morning. On the plus size, he has started doing 5 or 6 unaided steps at a time, from the sofa out into the middle of teh room. he;s still quite wobbly, but SO determined.

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2008 20:24

It was expensive, but worth it I thought as it is so good. We did get 30% off though as the company is run by a friend of DD's and DS's god-father.
