Bramshott · 07/03/2008 09:46

And I took so long to post that Pesha beat me to it!

cazboldy · 07/03/2008 11:04

Hi all

SOL - touch wood - no more yukky nappies here!

Ellie, you sound a lot more upbeat Hope M's Uncle will be ok.

Only just in the door, after going to the vets and buying cow food and mucking out, and breakfast tgings are still on the table, so I really must get on!

Back later x

cazboldy · 07/03/2008 11:05

breakfast things even

Pesha · 07/03/2008 11:10

Sorry Bramshott You were the first with a proper post though and not just random swearing like me!! Hope you get the interview And have fun at Thomasland, are you taking N out of school?

POTC - you do seem much more positive atm Am also not one for prayer but will be thinking of M's uncle.

I spoke to nurses who did D's jabs about Nathan's and they said to call the health authority and chase them up, and that was what, 6 months ago? And I still haven't! I think when N was a baby they said they'd stoppped doing 8 month checks (which is what its always been round here) unless the parent had any particular concerns. Although that could have been 18 month checks they'd stopped cant quite remember! Think I will ring and see as these are the people who completely missed doing my weaning visit and pnd questionnaire despite me being high risk and the consultant wanting me to have regular visits with the psychiatric team post natally!! So dont have much faith in them tbh!

Dylan very grumpy again today

CaptainDippy · 07/03/2008 11:16

Hope you do get interview Bramshott

Praying for M's Uncle Ian, POTC - do you want me to post on the prayer thread!!? @ your mum. Grrrrrr!

Well had an awful night My 2 kept screaming last night and scaring my friend's little girl who was sleeping in the same room. Took them ages to settle, absolute nightmare. Then DD1 woke up at 4.30am screaming because she wanted a Barbie doll She woke up my friends DD who had to go and sleep with her mum and baby brother and DD1 came in with me and didn't go back to sleep I am tired.

Then Pre-School called me and told me to come and get DD2 because she's been "quiet" and had runny nappy (her nappies are always runny ) THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH HER!!!! So now I am trying to do work and she's annoying me.

CaptainDippy · 07/03/2008 11:17

Arse.

Pesha · 07/03/2008 11:27

Oh no dippy

How are you finding the work? Apart from being difficult to fit in with the kids that is.

CM that was recommended to me by friend is right on other side of town, too far to walk and would prob take ages to drive through rush hour traffic so no good

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/03/2008 12:10

I use a nursery and a CM, and to be honest I prefer the Nursery. If the CM is ill I have no childcare, if she's having a bad day there is no-one else to share the load, if she wants to go to the loo even then J has to be left alone. I know this is all what would happen at home but tbh, I send them out partly so they get a break from mundane life at home!

Are there any nurseries near? Most will be about to get spaces come up as children move on and up the rooms at Easter.

Sexonlegs · 07/03/2008 13:50

Hi loves

Where is everyone today????

POTC, glad to hear you sounding perkier. Hope you are all feeling better.

Pesha,I really hope you can get childcare sorted- it would be such a shame if you couldn't take up the job offer.

Bramshott, good to see you.

Dippy, oh dear is all I can say to your night! Hope it is much improved tonight. How is dd2?

All ok here. Had a good night after all - thought we would have a crap one. B has gone to school - not sure she is 100% but not unwell enough to go to school iywsim. K napping, so have been doing some more cooking for her - she eats better than the rest of us!!

Found somone had put rubbish in our wheelie bin . Bit pissed off as they would have to walk on the drive and up the side of the house to do so. It was a bag of empty lager cans. Strange eh? Thought maybe dh had been off out secretly drinking and called him, but not guilty!

Right, better make the most of the quiet and get off my back-side.

See you lovelies later on.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/03/2008 13:56

you've all run away!
I'm at work

NorthernLurker · 07/03/2008 14:43

POTC - praying for M's uncle

Pesha - well done with the job - hope everything falls into place

Bramshott - good luck with yours

Dippy - oh dear - bad night . Hope things are going better with work - just a tiny bit.

SOL - hope B survives the day - I've sent dd2 and haven't heard anything so I assume she's managed ok.

Hi everyone else

DirtyNosePicker · 07/03/2008 15:48

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/03/2008 16:41

SPB - change your name back you naughty girl!

CaptainDippy · 07/03/2008 17:06

Just a tiny bit NL and DH IS HOME!!!!! So feeling a teeny bit better. How's everyone else?? xx

NorthernLurker · 07/03/2008 17:12

I'm struggling with my on-line shop - find it much more stressful than going to the superemarket tbh but dh disagrees!
B seems well - apart from her nappies which have been badly affected by the abs! Dd2 was fine at school as well.

DirtyNosePicker · 07/03/2008 18:28

i know i neeed to change back but it's too much effort

CaptainDippy · 07/03/2008 18:32

CaptainDippy · 07/03/2008 19:32

DH is pratting about the DC's and there's stuff I neeeed him to help with before I go out tonight!

DirtyNosePicker · 07/03/2008 19:47

I've just given T a bottle which was hilarious. He would lie in my arms for about 2 minutes then he's get up and crawl off to do something. Then he'd come back and flick the teat and open his mouth pitifully. He'd then get himself in the most stupid position ever (one hand on my knee, one leg in the air ) and expect me to feed him like that. When he's having a bottle he goes cross eyed and looks drunk so I started laughing, he'd then have a mini tantrum and crawl off! Repeat process for another 3ounces!!

oooggs · 07/03/2008 19:52

very quiet today and last night

ds1 had pre school booster jabs today - dh took him this morning and he didn't even cry but................. on running home to tell me about it, he fell, used his face as a brake again and has a fat lip and bruised gums and forehead

I am shattered, dh not getting in from work til 4am so he is tired as well and is therefore sleeping in.

ellie - will be thinking of uncle

pesha - hope childcare gets sorted

katy - change your name back please

hi everyone else - I'm off to bed soon
