Morning everyone. It seems an early night does help - DS1&2 have woken up feeling much better and have had some dry toast. DS3 fed all night so I've given him some toast and some pear puree - lets see if that stays down. Anyway, the long and short of it is we will be going to St Andrews today - hurrah!!

LOL at 'grimy arse' Ria.

Am definitely going to buy some of those green kids pockets, Daisy.

Bumper, good luck at work today, not that you will need it.

MHC welcome back - am I in your neck of the woods this weekend? If you are around do you want to meet up?

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/03/2008 08:38

Morning Bumper. Hope work goes well. I was at work on Tues -was fine cos only for a day but then it really hit me that the next time I go in it will be FOREVER!

Annobal - how long before you go? We have flights on hold for end June so all going well (just have to sell flat, buy new one, find childcare, return to work before then)will see you for coffee in Oz!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 14/03/2008 08:41

Morning all.

Lovely to see you MHC, hope you are well. Glad your ds has given up on the walking attempts, mine hasn't! He is a serious hazard to himself! I am very of your disneyland trips, hope you had a great time.

Annobal, glad your boys are better, hope everyone elses dcs are better today too.

I missed loads of chat last night, off to catch up...

Riallymusttryharder · 14/03/2008 08:42

Hi MHC.

I know annobal, to look at her you just wouldn't think she knew such sayings

Am feeling v sorry for myself today (earache, dizziness) so might stay away.

Have a good day everyone.

annobal · 14/03/2008 08:42

Hi TB - sounds great! Looking forward to seeing you there. How long will you stay for?

We've got another 6 days in this house then we are going to a friend's house in Sussex for a week - we fly out on 27th March.

Did I give you my Mum and Dad's no in Adelaide - if not, I will email it to you.

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 14/03/2008 08:43

We've missed your lentil-weaving ways mhc! I hope you find somewhere nice to live.

Disneyland again? Do they offer some sort of bonus scheme - 3 visits for the price of 2 ? Do you enjoy it? I guess DS2 is too small to appreciate it, is he?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 14/03/2008 08:43

Hi Tallulah too!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 14/03/2008 08:44

Oh and bumper! Hi every! It's busy this morning!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 14/03/2008 08:45

Morning all!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 14/03/2008 09:07

Hey fury, how's ds?

MHC, I will prob take the dcs to Disney next year. My mum has said she'll take us as my dp and my dad have no interest in fun stuff! We should have a Disney meet up!

Sputnik · 14/03/2008 09:09

Welcome back Tallulah and MHC. I got those discs btw MHC so thanks for that

Annobal did you cancel your trip to Burnham then? How long til you're up and running computer-wise in Oz?

Had another disturbed night but both seem happier this morning. I've discovered that wine-consumption and 2 night-waking children do not mix so well.

Wonder how Fury's DS is, she hasn't been around.

Sputnik · 14/03/2008 09:09

Ah, speak of the devil

HellHathNoFury · 14/03/2008 09:15

I am at work today - DS is on the mend.
After refusing to eat all day I managed to get a few morsels into him last night and he woke twice in the night screaming for food.

He has eaten a bit better this morning but is still unhappy in himself.

It's getting more positive though. Only 9 poos yesterday.

How is everyone else?

My exercise machine arrived today, wonder woman eat your heart out! I am going to have a fit bod (if it's the last thing I do..!!)

annobal · 14/03/2008 09:19

Hi Sputnik, hi Fury. Glad that DS a little better today - it's horrible when they're ill.

Yes, trip to Burnham cancelled unfortunately - we just couldn't fit it all in. Mum and Dad have a computer - not very literate tho so not sure - don't know if we are taking the laptop or putting it in the container - probably in hand luggage so shouldn't be off-line for too long (lest I go mad )

lackaDAISYcal · 14/03/2008 09:46

oooh craigtoun park

good to have you back mhc! yes i have news

oils in the mix are sunflower seed oil, apricot kernel, jojoba seed, sesame seed, carrot, bitter orange, neroli, and tangerine peel. sounds good enough to eat doesn't it.

we're having a shitty day today (but not literally). DS was on his usual top form this morning, and DD has screamed and whinged since she woke up. I have no idea what's wrong with her and actually went into the garden and left her in the pram to get away from it for 10 minutes. I've tried teething granules, bonjela and calpol and nothing is working.

talk to me about your bongo mhc....dh is trying to convince me that we need one!

i'm glad all the dcs are a bit better this morning.

mhc, I'll be up in fife in a week or so and I'd love to go to craigtoun park again, or the beach, or the aquarium

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/03/2008 09:57

Think have your details Annobal, will check. We'll be going for about 5 weeks I think. I let DH organise it so wouldn't be a surprise to find he hasn't booked return date at all .

Morning everyone else.

lackaDAISYcal · 14/03/2008 10:16

hi tallulah how is DD getting on? does she still have her wacky hair do?

DD has finally gone to sleep. I'm feeling emotionally wrung out now!

It's a shame I'm not up this weekend, it would have been lovely to meet you as well annobal before you disappear off to the other side of the world.

I think I'm just having an emotional day today...farking hormones. I've just hada huge whinge to DH about the state of the house and that although he tidies he never helps to clean (he just can't see dust/wee on the bathroom floor/sticky patches on the kitchen floor/the fact that there is mould on the inside of the kitchen bin when he changes the bin bag). Of course if I spent less time on here then my house would be sparkly and clean and tidy

mhc what is the age gap between your DSs?

OP posts:
JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/03/2008 10:46

Morning all!

Just back from popping in to DH's work. The jamlet sat all cute on the desk while I checked out my laptop connections and charmed all DH's co-workers And she smiled at everyone on the bus coming home too

Got some stuff to do then we're off to the hospital this afternoon for the jamlet's eye check - a train and another bus away. Almost makes me wish i wasn't so commited to using public transport. mind if I did drive, the parking at the hospital is horrendous, which is a key factor in my decision not to drive there.

Glad to hear poeple are on the mend. Am of plans for meet ups and the like.
