You really shouldn't worry about it Daisy, I researched essential oils and pg a bit and there's nothing that drastic.

annobal · 13/03/2008 21:40

Well done on the Barefoot Botanicals stuff. I've only tried the sos cream which I love.

You should be fine with the massage oil but I wouldn't use it again until 4 mths - definitely wouldn't rub it on your tummy.

Am also considering bed as my drunkard DH will be home at some point in the early hours reeking of booze and will definitely not be up early in the morning to help out with DCs

Sputnik · 13/03/2008 21:40

Forgot to congratulate you on your new business!

annobal · 13/03/2008 21:41

New business does sound fab Daisy. How are you going to sell? Will you have an ebay store? And will you deliver to Oz?

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 21:54

I want to know your business name - hurry up and get it registered so we can find out (not that I'll be your best customer)

Have just seen the new flake advert - DH says it's Katie Melua? - I could have sung that and eaten flake and dropped crumbs down my considerably more vast cleavage for far less than they paid that person.

I think I prefer Chenin Blanc.

annobal · 13/03/2008 21:55

Is it Joss Stone?

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 21:56

BTW I love that tshirt. I got DS1 a "save our planet" one from la redoute (we didn't need it either, but it's only small)

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 21:57

isn't Joss Stone fatter and blonde.

Did anyone see those pics of Claire from Steps? Finally I look loke sopmeone from Steps!!!

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 21:57

I've registered the domain, but haven't started building the site yet. DH says best not to do one of those "this site is under construction" messages, as he gets pissed off when he comes across them every time he googles and eventually can't be arsed to see whether it is up and running yet. I just nodded sagely whilst thinking "I hear the words, but nope, means nothing to me"

I could tell you the name, but then I'd have to kill you!

OP posts:
annobal · 13/03/2008 22:00

It's fab isn't it.

Do a link of the pics Ria - I want to know what you look like.

LOL Daisy - am looking forward to seeing your site.

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 22:00

According to google it is Joss Stone! (sorry)

I still could have done it better.

Hotel Inspector on five - research for my future life - I'm off. (She has more of a way with words than my mum, and that's saying something)

Nite nite. Rx

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 22:01

You could FB me daisy, I will never have need of nappies again. Unless DH is very very good

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 22:02

annobal, as most of the best nappies actually come from Oz in the first place, I'd be importing them to send them back!

Not ebay, there is a web mall called Mumzmall which provide a shop template. TBH, I don't really know what I'm doing, but two of our bessie mates are web designers so I've got some local brains to pick. The stocking is giving me a real headache (ie how much to buy, and what nappies). I'd like to stock all the ones I've loved, but I should do the more popular ones as well. I was thinking of starting with just a few of each kind and then building from there.

OP posts:
annobal · 13/03/2008 22:05

Now that DS is only using around 3 nappies a day, I'll probably switch to reusables in oz. Which ones are the best? I am lazy so the easier the better.

annobal · 13/03/2008 22:06

As DCs were in bed at 4.30 I should go to bed as they'll probably be up at 5! Nite all xx

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 22:07

But if the popular ones aren't as good as your favourites daisy? surely your research much mean something (tell DH that anyway).

The pics of Claire don't seem to be on the web where I was looking, but I think it was this weeks Woman mag (my mums, honest) she has a 10 month ols baby and is 15 1/2 stone. I carry my excess weight better. But then Iwas never a pop tart.

Must go.
Night all. Rx

annobal · 13/03/2008 22:09

sorry Ria - I think Claire is really pretty!

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 22:09

I've just bought some green kids pockets, and I'm really impressed. The bamboo inserts are very very thirsty.

I thought that only four or five nappies a day was too few with DD; good to know others are the same.

OP posts:
lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 22:12

I'm definately off this time, before I spend any more money

OP posts:
annobal · 13/03/2008 22:14

They're fab Daisy - did you see the surfer ones & I particularly like the gingham ones (but would ds ever forgive me . So you think those with the bamboo inserts are the ones to go for?

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 22:24

I bought the one with the strawberries on, it is soooo cute . the patterened ones are cotton with a waterproof inside, the plain ones are PUL. I didn't buy a minkee one, but am very tempted.

I generally use all those fuzzis inserts you sent me , but bought a couple of the bamboo ones as nappyzone said they were slim fitting. I don't think they are particularly slim, but they last for hours and hours. Am plucking up the courage to try them at night as I detest the smell of wet morning nappy, especially at the moment .

I'm definately off this time

night all.

OP posts:
Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 23:00

I can't do nappy talk, sorry.

I agree about Clare being pretty though, it ws just a shock to see her bigger (she still looks better than me). I do think all of them were too thin and it's good to see any of them (steps) bigger, maybe even more "real". She also has a very good reason with her baby too, I have yet to read the full feature on her, so I am maybe speaking out of turn. I wasn't getting at her at all, it was just a huge surprise, and to be similar to someone like that makes me feel less of a lost cause iyswim. There will never be "fat-ist" bitchiness from me. As my mum would say (I love this one) it would be like the pot calling the kettle grimy-arse. (where does she get these things)
sorry if I came across wrong

Hotel Inspector boring tonight - it shou;d be me & DH...

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 14/03/2008 07:56
