ha ha!! you should've put that in the title too Daisy! Publicise your PG

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 21:16

my cunning name change has made sure that no-one knows it's me!

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 21:18

I think its a fab namechange!

milkyJammy · 04/03/2008 21:20

Nice title!

Well, so far no one has had my milk in their coffee It is stored in a baby bottle with teat on, so it should be fairly obvious that it's not the usual milk. My mum used to work as a nurse on a children's ward though and says that one night a porter drank some EBM from the fridge and commented on how lovely and creamy it was - until they told him what it was that is!

SisterSputnik · 04/03/2008 21:22

Oh there you are

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 21:28

Wow new thread already! Pah, no excuses for gorging on eggs! I've already eaten one .

Izzybel · 04/03/2008 21:44

PMSL at the night porter! Reminds me of the friend episode when they all taste Carol's bm.

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 21:45

Go Izzy, Go Izzy, Go Izzy....yeah

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 21:46

Evening dudes!

That is a lovely bag daisy, shame it is sold out . I may investigate furthur, thanks.

I was trying to watch Horizon, but my dp is snoring and it is pissing me off. I tell you what I shall be glad when the miserable sod goes back to work. He keeps falling asleep and saying that he is tired when I moan. TIRED??? I'll give him fucking tired! Twunt!

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 21:47

Well done on the egg eating izzy! I have been eyeing them up every time I go shopping...so far I have been good...so far!

lackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2008 21:48

oh, a serious question...does anyone know where I can get scratch mitts to fit DD (all the ones I've seen are for wee newborns). Her skin has flared up again and she is covered in eczema from her face down to her nappy area (but nothing on her arms and legs). She was clawing at it all day today.

She screamed when I put some E45 on her face earlier, it must be soooo sore

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 21:49

I saw some big ones in M&P the other day, but they were in the bargain bucket, so they might not have any oop north. If I go back soon I'll buy them and send them to you.

Izzybel · 04/03/2008 21:51

Lol, Daisy.
Know exactly what you mean Holly! Men eh. They always have it worse off than us don't they? Poor things
My DP, admitted to me the other day that when I was in labour he had been wishing that I would shut up as he was tired and wanted to go to sleep! This was because I had had a long latent phase and had been in pain for a couple of days, so I was keeping the poor darling awake at night!

BadZelda · 04/03/2008 21:53

Ah there you are!

Daisy - would socks work? Or just fall off? Must be hard if she's crawling around everywhere. Ouch on the Excema!

This made pmsl earlier, so I thought I would share it

Izzybel · 04/03/2008 21:53

Aww your poor DD Daisy. I have only ever seen scratchmits for newborns.

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 21:53

umm, Holly - isn't DP off this week? (Perhaps I shouldn't point out its only Tuesday ....)

daisy, how about using an oil on her skin? Almond oil? Grapeseed? Olive? The smell of warm olive oil always makes me think of my babies!

foxythesnowman · 04/03/2008 21:54

Izzy! at your DP!

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 21:54

I hope you gave him a punch izzy! My dp can sleep through anything. Neither of the dcs have ever woken him in the night, which is amazing considering we co-sleep and the screaming child is always next to his ear! Even last night when ds was literally screaming for 2 hours solid dp half woke up once and fell straight back to sleep again.

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 04/03/2008 21:57

ROFL Z!!

Yep, he is off all week. He is completely pissing me off! I think he wants to go back to work for a rest(!).

SisterSputnik · 04/03/2008 21:59

That always amazes me too Holly. The other night I was trying to quiet a hysterical baby, I look round and DH is ASLEEP, the bugger. How do they do it?
