Erm... has anyone else noticed that the 2nd link in Andies post is a bit weird

they say - brand new - only out of box for pictures, and the colour is steel blue

but the pictures are red

is it just me?

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 13:52

No fury, it's fine! I'll sell these Tommee Tippee ones and I'll get some money that way. They'll only cost a couple of quid to post. I'll let you know when I've got them.

Andie, I like that Quinny, but you could prob get one cheaper than that. I've seen them go for about £50ish. I love Quinnys, they are fab. I'll have a look around on ebay and see what I can find!

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 13:53

Thanks Holly

andiem · 13/03/2008 13:55

well spotted fury I hadn't noticed that

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 13:55

I'm of your sleep Ria, enjoy

DS now has diahorrea to add to the vomiting but seems to be happily eating and drinking and is far less clingy than yesterday so is obviously feeling a bit better than he did.

We had one of [http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mothercare-Urban-Detour-Xtreme-3-Sherpa-Stroller_W0QQitemZ150223017031QQihZ00 5QQcategoryZ66700QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem these]] for dd. It isn't all that light but is lovely to push.

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 13:56

i meant this

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 13/03/2008 13:58

Just popping in v quickly. Jammy have you tried BM in the jamlet's eye?

Fury DS does sound poorly, hope he perks up soon.

Foxy email me if you still wanna meet up on Saturday.

I have a new addiction: chocolate raisins. I thought they would be a good snack as really they are mostly fruit and I could just have a couple to get a quick "hit" but I think I am addicted!

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 14:02

Well at least it's fruit bumper! My co-op had loads of tubs of celebrations for 99p each, I bought 3 and am half way through the second...I only bought them yesterday !

Andie, have a look at the Britax Verve or Vigour 3. I tested the Vigour for M&B mag and it was really good.

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 14:24

Daisy hope all's well - lots of posive vibes wafting up to you xx

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 14:26

hello

scan went OK, sac and yolk seen and in the right place. Ovaries doing the job as they should. tiny foetal pole seen, but too small to say for definate on the report. She said all looked as it should be and she has dated me at 6 weeks exactly. We saw a heartbeat at 6+3 with DD though, but I'm trying not to worry, as conception may have happened a bit later than I thought; obviously one of the slow lazy sperm that did the job (a boy???)!!!

she recommended scanning again in 1-2 weeks (but she would at £70 a pop). I am a bit disappointed that we didn't see more, but definately can't afford to do it again. I might try chivvying my community MW for as early a scan date as possible.

sorry all the LOs are still poorly.

We went to a new children's centre this morning and DD did her fist piece of artwork; a paper flower with gummed paper shapes stuck on. She did the licking, I did the sticking

Hi everyone.

DD1 just woke DD2 up by falling (jumping? ) on her head just when I was about to brew up.

Today I am writing down everything I do for no apparent reason except to prove to myself that I do do something. And probably to show myself that I don't MN for hours on end. Bit of a time/motion study on my day. Jeeez, I'm farking bored!!!

I'm a joy, huh? Think I'll go and make that cuppa.

andiem · 13/03/2008 14:30

daisy so pleased for you looks as though everything is as it should be my ivf clinic usually scanned at 7 weeks to be sure of seeing a hb

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 14:31

Oh Daisy, I'm so pleased that it went well. Definitely badger the midwife. And well done babyboo!

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 14:32

x-posted there Daisy!

Good news! You can relax a bit now, at least.

Why do they charge you? Isn't there a hospital with an EPU?

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 14:32

Foxy, we need to arrange to meet-up soon, with Andiem too and anyone else that can come along.

andiem · 13/03/2008 14:36

yes yes to meet up could do week after next when we get back from skiing or we could go to hampton court in easter hols i can get 2 adults and 3 children in
or i can get 2 adults 4 children into wisley

wisly is great as lots of running around space

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 14:39

That's great daisy, glad everything is well! It all sounds positive xxx

I'd better go, my ds is being a little bugger! Bye x

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 14:42

EPU didn't want to see me so we went sort of private. There is a screening centre attached to the university who do GP referrals etc, but they also do private scans. Much cheaper than BUPA or whoever.

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 14:42

Anyone up for a big meet up in August? Give us all time to get sorted?

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 14:43

Really? With your history? I'm shocked at that.

Anyway, its very positive, so great news. You must be chuffed to bits. Did DH get to go too?

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 14:49

Either sounds good Andiem. I am a member of Kew and have free passes so that's another option.

Big August meet-up also sounds like a good idea Foxy

Izzybel · 13/03/2008 14:49

Hey there! Just popping in quickly, while DD having a nap to see how Daisy went with scan.

Thats really good news, Daisy. Sounds as if everything is as it should be to me . Well done to your DD on her first piece of artwork!
Hope all these poorly los get better soon.
Well done to your DH, on getting the job annobal.
Hope everyone else is well. Prob be back later xx

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 14:50

ya boo sucks to the EPU. I think they are struggling with funding. I'm sure if I'd made more of the spotting they would've seen me.

Yes, yes and yes again to the big meet up. When and where are you thinking of? I've promised DS a few days in London over the summer holidays so I can arrange it for the same time so I can meet you all.

OP posts:
lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 14:52

DH rearranged his schedule so he could come (it was either that or divorce).

Kew is lovely.

Or what about Richmond Park?

Glad all went well Daisy...

I'm now on waiting list to have gall bladder removed 3-4 months....I put down I was unavailable from 2nd June for a week....she said are you going away....no, its my DDs first birthday ....where is the time going.

Right have good days everyone....back to lurking for me...
