Poor jamlet, that sounds messy!

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 11:00

poor babies! they are a sickly lot

ooh, Homes under the Hammer

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 11:07

Poor poorly babies.

Thanks for that fury, I emailed her the link. She will probably want to be near York/Leeds I expect and she wants to train while working. SHe deserves to do well as she works really hard and has saved for her own horse etc. I wish we had the funds to help her out.

Well, I got an email from friend last night more or less saying "see you tomorrow", despite her convo with DH. I oh so politely replied and said we weren't up to visitors. (Have just passed her partner going the other way in the car when I came home from tent collection, so she must be at a loose end today too. Well TOUGH!)

annobal · 13/03/2008 11:10

Hurrah! DH has just got a job in Adelaide. Friend has just arrived so will catch up later...

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 11:10

My mum just sent a text to tell me to award myself a stripe for saying "No". Bless her.

DS1 has finally tidied his room, so DH is setting up our old and ancient PC in his room with a wireless connection. I'm quite impressed, but it probably a HUGE mistake!

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 11:10

yippee for DH annobal.

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 11:14

Yay for DH annobal!

Ria hope that info helps. I am a bit out of the horsey loop these days but the BHS (british horse society, not shapeless clothes and homewares co) will give her all the info she needs and recommended training institutes.

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 11:16

thanks fury, really appreciate it. There seem to be plenty of jobs advertised on that sire so at least she can get an idea of what's about (and with a bit of luck will decide to make the break from the family mafia and get a life like DH did

Must go and be a good mummy and tend to the spotty one.

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 11:26

yay for Annobal's dh and well done Ria for sticking to your guns

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 12:13

Congrats Annobal! That's a great result.

Well done Ria!

daisy when will you be back???????

right I am now going to morph into a pram hun I am thinking of getting a 3 wheeler to replace my big pram any recommendations???

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 13:32

\the only 3 wheeler I have tried is a zapp and a P&T, I don't think either are what you are after?
The zapp is good but doesn't recline and feels a bit flimsy for everyday use.

Holly would probably know more - and bumper has a Zapp, is that any good?

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 13:33

DS has only had 7oz today and has been asleep for most of the morning
I hope he is ok.

andiem · 13/03/2008 13:37

fury have you tried him with some dioralyte?

I am looking for something like the jane but not so expensive or that i could get on e bay it is for everyday trogging around I have a maclaren for the car so not worried about folding etc too much

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 13:39

Oh dear you poor loves, what a bunch of poorly babies you all have. Hope they are better soon. My ds is a bit snotty, but thankfully not sicky or pooey. You all have my sympathy and best wishes xx

Fury, I've just got some of the bottles I'm supposed to be testing. They are the Tommee Tippee ones. Are they the ones you use? I am testing 6 different brands and each brand is sending me 6 bottles by the looks of it! I'm going to be drowning in bottles and I don't even use them! If you want I can send these ones to you (if they are the ones you use) or you can wait and I'll send you a different pack!

Andie, what sort of 3 wheeler are you looking for? Does it need to be lightweight? Any features you particularly need? I love a good 3 wheeler!

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 13:43

Hope he is ok fury, will he maybe take a bit of orange juice or even some squash?

Andie, I had a Zapp for a good 18 months. I bought it second hand from ebay and resold it for more than I bought it for! It was wonderful! I used it almost every day and we never had any trouble with it at all. It doesn't recline though and is shit if you want to go shopping and buy more than a couple of bags worth as it has no basket. You can get it in a great range of colours and it is perfect if you want to go on holiday as it comes with its own travel bag.

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 13:44

Hi Holly,

I currently use Avent.
Am particularly interested in Dr Brown ones as they are meant to help colic etc but am happy to try whatever you need!

Andie - yes have been using dioralyte for the last 2 days but he has refused all food/drink so far today.
He has been asleep now for 3 hours. Poor sod.

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 13:45

I want a new 3 wheeler. for town and off-roading and has to fit in the car with room for shopping and stuff. and it has to be cheap. I don't want much do I?

I am off to bed, being assertive is draining and I have an evil headache. DH off out to cater a shooting party tonight so I'll need all my wits and strebgth for bedtime

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 13:46

I am getting some Dr. Browns ones fury, so I'll send you them. I might put these Tommee Tippee ones on ebay. I don't need to test them as they are the ones I already have.

andiem · 13/03/2008 13:46

Holly it needs to be good for running with not too big but won't be putting it in the car much and quite sturdy for parks etc was thinking of this or this

please share your pram wisdom with me

HellHathNoFury · 13/03/2008 13:47

Holly do you want something for the postage?

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 13:47

maybe DS is on the mend if he's having a good sleep? Hope so.

Thinking of you daisy, I will catch up later.
Rx

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 13/03/2008 13:48

Have a nice snooze ria!

andiem · 13/03/2008 13:48

fury tbh I would give him anything he wants the advice now for adults and children is to eat and drink normally so that you get maximum calories from what you have iyswim
I wouldn't be too worried about the sleeping

andiem · 13/03/2008 13:49

have a good sleep ria I am packing for skiing on sunday but a bit bored by collecting up all the crap things we will need
