What ever happened to ...

Seansgirl???

I thought Richmond Daisy ...

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 15:16

Somewhere that we could do a huge picnic and let the DCs run around while we chat would be good

Sputnik · 13/03/2008 15:18

Glad everything is ok Daisy

annobal · 13/03/2008 15:37

So sorry about all the poorly dcs.

I had to pick up from nursery at lunchtime as DS2 had vommed and ds1 looked like he was going to . DS3 still not great but is at least bf (am not going to offer any food today as he brought up the half banana he had for dinner at 4am).

I'm going out tonight (think this definitely makes me a bad mother) as it is DH's leaving drinks. Our babysitter knows the dcs well and they know her and I think once they get into bed tonight they will be fast asleep.

annobal · 13/03/2008 15:44

Daisy that is great news. You must be so relieved.

Am about the big meet-up.

andiem · 13/03/2008 15:46

yes richmond park would be fab in the summer we could meet near pembroke lodge and then there would be somewhere to get an ice cream

annobal hope dcs feel better soon

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 15:56

Go for it annobal. I am secretly hoping that my sis will want to rearrange last weeks outing for tomorrow, so I can leave the DCs with their Daddy

Sleep was nice but noy long enough - bizarre dream (that would probably be the bag of chips we shared for lunch).

Friend sent DS2 a comic and lent a DVD when DS1 came home brom school. Now I feel bad.

I think I have seriously injured my thigh muscles with my misguided exercising, stairs and sitting are agony!

I love those pushchairs holly, I have a scruffy old style urban detour we use for the beach and forestry, but it's quite big. I'm off to search for more, hopefully there'll be one nearby.

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 15:58

sorry daisy, I hope you feel a bit reassured now, it sounds more positive than not. Can your get referred to EPU through your GP (that's what we have to do here) so they will scan you again? I recommend chocolate!

at meetup, but I think I would be way too scared to come to London.

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 16:02

It would be really nice to meet you Ria

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 16:08

aww thanks FF.

There's a verve in orange - I could get crocs to match

FairyFay · 13/03/2008 16:08

sorry, I got interrupted mid-post. I meant that to say.... Ria, it would be nice to meet you, but I understand if you can't face it.

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 16:09

BTW, there's a seller of raincovers on ebay called Apollo Emporium - I would recommend them, I used to work in the unit next door to their factory and I got one for my M&P travel system from them.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/03/2008 16:15

Really pleased for Daisy, and for DD for her artwork.

I'd love to do a meet up too. So make it a Weds/Thurs/Fri please!!!

Just been to baby group and the jamlet had a great time wriggling around, but still always backwards. She's not too quick but is definitely moving. And this morning she found she could bum shuffle on our wooden kitchen and dining room floor. I sat her with some toys while I folded laundry and a few minutes later I looked round and she had deserted the toys in favour of the cat's bowl. I got to her just before she stuck her fingers in the Felix.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/03/2008 16:19

Norty, I've got to do the eyedrops 4 times a day - I don't think she sleeps that many times!

foxythesnowman · 13/03/2008 16:50

I'll look after you Ria!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/03/2008 17:42

DH just sent me a link about this.

Is he living in cloud cuckoo land???

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 13/03/2008 17:44

Ah well, he can always send me one of these on Saturday

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 17:53

jammy, good luck with the eye drops. I used to have to sit on DS, pinning his arms to his body with my knees, get him in a headlock with one hand an then do a double manoeuvre with the other hand involving prising his eye open whilst simultaneously squeezing in the drops. Very tricky, but just one of those things you learn to master as a single parent

Am I a bad mummy if DD has pizza for tea? or is this considered BLW at its purest?

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 13/03/2008 18:02

Daisy, so glad everything went well today. Saw your thread about DD btw, is she ok?

Jammy I don't think you should spread that around! If DH catches sight of it I am blaming you!

How are the sicky babies?

Ria you should defo come to London, we'll meet you, do what ever you need and we are really nice (well I am anyway ).

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 13/03/2008 18:03

Anything to wash the silica down

lackaDAISYcal · 13/03/2008 18:04

oh, she is Ria, I can vouch for that

DD's fine. Eating pizza with her big brother

I can see that family mealtimes and ms aren't going to go well together. All I've eaten today is rice crispies (which tasted odd) and cheese.

Buggery bum bollocks, ds2 in bed, ds1 has just done an almighty vom on the bathroom floor and is now fast asleep in bed. Feeling really sorry for them but even more sorry for myself as there is no way i could venture into town now. And we'll probably have to cancel weekend to st andrews .

Off to open a bottle of wine and drown my sorrows...

annobal · 13/03/2008 18:16

Oh, can second that bumper is very lovely
