I would be cross too annobal

HollyPutTheHabitOn · 11/03/2008 14:59

You don't need to get a life, I can see why you are pissed off, I would be too.

lackaDAISYcal · 11/03/2008 15:01

She sounds like a cheap cow annobal. Just send her a note reminding her that the postage costs are to cover things like packaging and your time and cost of getting to the post office and are perfectly reasonable. You could also remingd her that the cost was there before she bid so she knew what she was getting. Cheeky Mare (but you might want to leave that off )

good point on the double buggy foxy. I was looking at a P&T yesterday, but I'm not sure I like the idea of the LO being eight inches off the ground, especially in November. I'm borrowing my friends 3mo old baby and going to look at buggies in a few weeks!

Think you are right re the not responding. I do really want to tell her to fuck off tho...

lackaDAISYcal · 11/03/2008 15:02

PMSL at you borrowing a baby daisy! P&T do this one too, which I've had a little push of in a shop and really liked. Also the Mountain Buggy twin looks ace and for some reason they seem to be going quite cheaply on ebay atm.

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:05

X-post sorry daisy!

P&T v good to steer one handed - it does have a cover for the back section that really seals from thw weather.

Riallymusttryharder · 11/03/2008 15:07

Hi. Don't be the bigger person annobal, be the ruder one

Good luck to your DH daisy, and yours holly.

Glad your DD doesn't have chickenpox foxy, sadly DS2 almost certainly does, though hardly any spots yet. He isn't overly poorly with it (not that I want him to be) but he's at the really really naughty stage of poorliness so spends most of his time bickering with DH.

AIBU to be really pissed off with DH because he got my friend to nominate him to the board of governors at school and I asked him not to do it? when he's working he won't ave the time, but he doesn't seem to have though of that. If he joins any more bloody societies I'm leaving him

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:07

Mountain buggy great but quite wide and impossible around town. Also my wheels kept locking which makes pushing around corners hard.

Riallymusttryharder · 11/03/2008 15:10

My keyboard has become sticky. I'm sure I haven't spilt wine on this one, just the old one.

I have been BAD today. We needed food, so we had to go into town to go shopping and I thought DS2 would have a much needed sleep in the car (he didn't), but I went back to the charity shop and bought the jacket. It is a gorgeous deep plum colour and I can't wait to wear it(but it won't go with anything)! I am a BAD person.

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:18

Okay, so I am not the bigger person . I've just told her (among other things) that if she is not happy with the bag to send it back and I will refund her 99p. Do you think irony will be lost on her?

Sorry - glad DD doesn't have chicken pox Foxy. Poor DS Ria! And YANBU.

Just read post above - I LOVED my mountain buggy - it was a lot more robust than the p&t and was fantastic going for walks in the park or days out.

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:19

LOL Ria - the jacket sounds lovley - now you'll just have to find something to go with it

Sputnik · 11/03/2008 15:23

Annobal

Riallymusttryharder · 11/03/2008 15:40

Yay for annobal

DH has scored a couple of points by saying the jacket looks nice.

DS2 is having an almighty strop at anything and everything. And DS1 invited a friend to play and can't understand why said friemd can't come.

DH is going out to see about a job. I think I may cry.

HellHathNoFury · 11/03/2008 15:43

I have changed over 20 poopy nappies today

the squits are rife in the land of baby fury

I am exhausted with the poor little fella

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:46

poor fury and baby fury. Think you should come and live in Adelaide, much healthier

HellHathNoFury · 11/03/2008 15:50

Annobal if we don't get our green card I'll see you there

annobal · 11/03/2008 15:52

Hurrah!

LittleMissNorty · 11/03/2008 16:35

You poor thing Fury - When DD had it, it was one almost every hour and she lived in babygro's.......lots of sudocream...his little bum will be very sore

HellHathNoFury · 11/03/2008 16:55

norty yes - It is about 1 change every 40 mins at the mo but at lunchtime it was 6 in an hour.

I have got through 2 packs of wipes just today.

He seems happy... just keeps pooing. He hasn't peed in 3 days

lackaDAISYcal · 11/03/2008 16:58

that E3 twin looks good holly; I didn't think they did one like that. I'll see if i can get a look at one locally.

fury, sorry your ds isn't any better . does he need the doctor?

OP posts:
andiem · 11/03/2008 17:00

poor lo fury and poor you all those nappies yuk

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 11/03/2008 17:29

Hi all,

really sorry for the poorly babies and sleepless nights. Not as bad here but DD did wake up at 3.30 for the second time this week, and wouldn't go back down so she slept in our bed. Note I say she slept, I did not!

Annobal that's crap about your bag, she shouldn't have fricking bid on it.

Riallymusttryharder · 11/03/2008 17:33

Poor DS fury. I suppose he won't need to wee if he is pooing all the time?

DS2 is relaxed back in the reclining armchair at last. He still bickered his way through tea with DS1. Bath soon to count spots and early bed I think.

Sputnik · 11/03/2008 17:49

Me and Ria are still trying to find our old selves, if anyone cares to join us
