Hey ladies! Our thread was getting a bit long so i started a new one. Hope you dont mind!

ooooooo we are off on holiday on monday morning. I am panicking now, making sure we have everything, especially Callum's stuff!!! I had to go and get 14 cartons of formula earlier because Callum has a bottle a day, plus some food. I can't believe we are off on monday, sooooooo excited!!!

Goodness you ladies are quiet this weekend!

Sparkly, have a good holiday. Jet, good news about William and the bottle! RG, how's the winding down feeding going? R still refuses bottles or cups... she takes some then projectile vomits it...

Quick stop for me. Rebecca has totally grown up!!! sits up all the time now, doesnt want to lie down, and doesnt fall down either. Sad moment as goodbye to the playmat arches and to the bouncy chair - an era is over. Makes me broody again!!!

Off to my parents today. I've still got an evil cold, coughing and sneezing away. Bleugh. Little girl didnt sleep more than 45 minutes at a go last night, again, having had a couple of nights last week where she went two hours. Sigh.

HI all. Parents have been down to see us so been AWOL for a bit. Lovely visit.

Choc, Rebecca sounds fab, sorry about the sleep situation. Adam has started waking up more during the night after a couple of weeks of sleeping through grrr. ikwym tho re them growing up so quickly

Have a great hol Sparkly ! We have just booked a cottage for a week this year but now wishing we had pushed the boat out and booked a hol abroad cos I would just love to have some proper sunshine.

Loopy, have you sought any help for your sling addiction . Actually we are going to get a back carrier for DS to go on hols with as he loves being carried. Can you recommend one?

RG, how is the changeover going?

Well Adam now has 2 bottom teeth just peeking through so I am now longer so blase about letting him chew on my fingers! He still hasn't rolled over but is soooooo close. Tried him with some banana yesterday for the first time and he looked v.disgusted with the whole experience! Going to get a highchair and go the whole hog with BLW next week. We are getting closer to sorting child care out, we have seen a few childminders and think we have found "the one" but just had one recommended to us so just want to make sure...Still howls when he sees the in-laws. Yikes. Otherwise all is good. Been invited to neighbours BBQ later, should be interesting (new neighbours, seem nice).

Choc - sorry that DD isn't have much luck with her bottles/cups! What a pain! Cant believe she's still not sleeping properly either - you must be exhausted

Sarah - awww teeth already! I was convinced that Ellie was getting teeth but so far nothing has appeared and she's been constantly dribbling for about the past 2 months! Oh well, they'll come when they're good and ready no doubt.

The change over from BF to FF is going really well. I feel much more relaxed about going out etc these days. She is mainly FF now and only has about 2 or 3 BF a day. The BF are normally in the middle of the night, first thing in the morning and sometimes one in the afternoon. I feel quite sad about giving up BF to be honest, but i'm happy to keep giving her the odd one now and then if i want to. I am very lucky that she takes either bottle or boob and the HV was amazed that she was so easy to take either too. I had a lovely lay in this morning and then nipped out to WW so when i came back DP had dealt with Ellie and feed her twice etc too. So when i got back we were having a cuddle on the sofa and i thought i would just give her a BF. She wasn't hungry or anything, but i actually wanted to give it to her. She had a little feed and a smile and coo at me. It was lovely.

I had my weigh in today at WW and i've put ON 2.5lbs!!! I know exactly how i've done it tho, coz i cooked a curry on Friday night with cream, then saturday we got a bit tipsy in the pub and had a chinese on the way home () Oh well, nevermind. Back on track this week!

Hope you're all having relaxing days. I'm off to do some boring hoovering and floor mopping! What joy!!
