RG- I have a maya wrap- stretchy wrap- tis fab- dead easy

DanJARMouse · 14/01/2008 21:46

RGP - the straps are very bloody long! drop me an email my love [email protected]

Am about to upload a photo of laughing boy - he is a real little character now!!!

RGPargy · 14/01/2008 22:14

Sparkly - it's amazing how much they grow in so little time isn't it, especially Callum, coz he was such a little thing at the start wasn't he!

Jarm - I was looking at one on Ebay earlier and i emailed the lady that was selling it about the straps and she said that the standard length straps are 120cm each so if yours is longer, that would be fab. I dont want to get it from you if it's going to be too small coz then it would be sitting in my house doing nothing rather than sitting in your house doing nothing lol.

Where's this pic of your cheeky chappie then?

Ellie's been a bit fractious tonight, despite a bottom explosion this morning. I decreased the Infacol at last night's final feed to .5ml and have been giving her the reduced amount ever since. I wonder if it's not enough to ward off the evil tummy bubbles? Think i'll increase it back up to 1ml as that is the amount that seems to work with her.

Callum has his jabs tomorrow (I think, it says the 15th, but also says thursday ) I am so scared. He willcry and I will feel guilty. He should have had them weeks ago, but with his weight gain problems I didn't want put him through it. Am still awake as I nodded off earlier with Callum and am not tired now.

RGPargy · 15/01/2008 08:46

Good luck with the jabs Sparkly. I'm not looking forward to Ellie having hers either, i must admit.

Thanks for new thread RG - where would we be without your admin skills?! Are you doing anything special for your birthday? Tis my birthday in a couple of weeks and I am hoping to get the hang of expressing so me and the DH can go out for a meal. Probably spend the whole time talking about Adam! LOL at you keeping one ear out for DP and Ellie in the bath. My book says 12 till 5 is a sleep through - congrats! But just to make you Adam seems to be doing that most nights now. That means I am in for a sleepless night now . Serves me right.

SGK - happy birthday for yesterday! Must be amazing to see Callum's tiny babygro - a great reminder of how far he has come! Adam looks like he has 2 white dots at the front of his mouth too and he has been drooling like mad, could it really be teething ?

Jetgirl - Adam is the same as your LO and likes to sleep with his arms stretched right out. He LOVES his cot and wakes up in such a good mood all smiles and cooing (goes downhill after that!). We have had some great nights sleep since we moved him out of his moses basket, hope you do too.

Fiona - good luck with the house move, a v.exciting time.

Well got weighed at docs and have a stone to lose. Really can't be arsed tho. Have already had a lovely cup of tea and some jam creams this morning. Doctor asked if I was walking loads LOL - yes walking backwards and forwards to the fridge .

Having a chilled out day today (hence the long post - sorry). Hope you all have a good day. x

DanJARMouse · 15/01/2008 10:37

RGP - didnt get an email! Will get DH to measure the straps for you and will let you know.

Cant seem to to upload the photo for some reason will have to find a photo sharing website or something, or if any of you are on facebook, check out Lindsay McCafferty.

Just trying to get motivated to go shopping, really cant be bothered!!

Daniel slept in his big boy cot all by himself in his own room last night! By all accounts he has been ready for it, kept finding him in all sorts of funny positions - even managed to turn 180 degrees!!!

jetgirl · 15/01/2008 11:39

Sparkly - hope you had a lovely birthday yesterday. William has his jabs tomorrow too, will be thinking of you and Callum.

Jarm - William slept in his big cot for the first time last night too. What an improvement! He definitely likes his space, and settled himself really well at bedtime and after his 4am feed. Now he just needs to cut out the 4am feed...

sarah - yes, you will spend the whole time talking about your LO, when DH and I go out that's all we talk about too, makes me wonder what we did before we had children! We're planning our first night out since William was born in a few weeks so I am going to start expressing soon. I found the expressing last time straightforward, once I had got the hang of it, it took much longer to persuade DD to take a bottle though - a good week IIRC so be prepared for that possibility.

Have a good day all

DanJARMouse · 15/01/2008 12:08

RGP - including the padded shoulder straps it is 210cm without padded shoulder straps its 170cm

Im a 16-18 and it fits me fine. DH is a lot slimmer and the straps are very long on him.

Up to you my lovely.

silkcushion · 15/01/2008 12:19

Jarm - wouldn't I have to be added as afriend on facebook to see your pictures?

silkcushion · 15/01/2008 12:21

Ignore me Jarm - I've just found you - lovely picture - what a little smiler

DanJARMouse · 15/01/2008 13:08

add me as a friend anyway lol

He is a little cutie! Great little smiler now!

Off for my 6wk check this aftenoon - not looking forward to it, but guess it has to be done! Talking of which, going to undress the boy and put a sleepsuit on him, so much easier to get on and off than all his little clothes!

Will keep trying to upload the photo on here, but for some reason it just aint working!

sparklygothkat · 15/01/2008 17:34

hae added a pic of the babygro and callum

silkcushion · 15/01/2008 17:55

not there sgk

RGPargy · 15/01/2008 17:56

Sarah - well the "sleep through" didn't last long. Ellie was up fussing til about 1am last night and then awake at 4am for a feed, then 7ish. Oh well, maybe tonight!! Only a stone to lose?? YOu lucky thing! Wish i only had a stone to lose!

Madam needs feeding, will catch up in a bit. Oh and Jarm - yes please re the wilkinet!

OP posts:
DanJARMouse · 15/01/2008 19:03

6wk check was ok, Daniel doing fine, just me thats in bits LOL

PND is getting better slowly, very much depends on the day! Had to have blood test for my aneamia, so will no doubt be on iron tablets again by the end of the week!

Daniel has gone to sleep in his big boy cot again tonight, he is getting really good at just settling himself to sleep, so that should be him for an hour or so before the next feed, and then that will be him until about 2am.

Anyone been dream feeding? Daniel doesnt seem to "get it" and will only take an ounce or so.

RGP - no worries mate, got you on messenger now so just drop me a line (missed you earlier) and we can sort it out... will get DH to package it up tonight and we will pop it in the post tomorrow xxx

sarahloumadam · 15/01/2008 19:04

Well RG only a stone to get back to my original weight - sure I could do to lose more but why go mad . Sure Ellie will sleep through again soon. Is actually quite painful on the old norks and sometimes wake up waiting to be milked!

sparklygothkat · 15/01/2008 19:10

ok pic should be in my profile now.

RGPargy · 15/01/2008 19:15

Back now. Ellie is now having a bath, courtesy of daddy.

Jarm - have added you as a friend on Facebook. He seems to be really smiley!! Lovely!! It takes loads of effort to get any smiles from Ellie lol. She's probably just a miserable bint. How was your six week check? Everything ok, i trust?

Jet & Jarm - glad your LOs took well to their cots last night.

Perhaps the pictures cant be uploaded because you have exceded the capacity for a MN user? I dont know if MN restricts the amount of pictures we each put up, but that's what i'm guessing anyway.

We went to baby massage today! We only did the legs and feet today, but it was really nice. I wasn't sure if Ellie was enjoying it or not as she wasn't looking at me (she never does!) and was just staring at the woman next to me. When i picked her up at the end of it tho, she gave me lots of smiles so i'm only guessing that she actually enjoyed it. After that we all sat and had a coffee but i felt like a spare part because i had to feed Ellie and didn't get to the cafe until everyone had found seats and got into little groups and were chatting. Nevermind, hopefully next week i'll be a bit more "in there" with them lol. There's only about 8 of us in the group with a mixture of ages of babies (and mums!) so that was nice. Then it was off to Nanna's for a quick cuppa and cuddle and then off home.

LOM - I've sent the DVDs to you today so you should get them tomoz (sent first class).

Have a nice evening everyone!

sparklygothkat · 15/01/2008 19:25

I know!! Its costing me a forture in clothes, he is shoting through the sizes so fast

RGPargy · 15/01/2008 19:30

Tell me about it! It's possibly child cruelty to put Ellie in her 0-3 stuff now and she only has two 3-6 babygrows lol. Going shopping tomorrow for more stuff tho so i dont think she'll be calling Childline just yet.....
