OMG, you all come out of the woodwork whrn I'm not here.

Nope, he wasnt drinknig, he's just odd. He reckons he has some medical condition that prevents him from remembereing the mnths in order, but there's no other list he cant recite, so think its a play for sympathy of some sort.

Flame, I was going to say best friend, but then I thought you were the wrong age to have a friend the same age called Roxy; thats abut 10 years later than you!

Am strangely excited at the prospect of csws at jas's house, so we can get a detailed report on progress!

Very very bad night with ds2.There's something in theaves right above his cot, and it knockds alot (did I already tel lyou that?) It was really active last night. Need to get up there and have a look, but its not accessible from the inside, so we'll have to go up the outside and remove a bit of the house . So, I was up with ds2 for about 3 hours last night, plus they were both in our bed for a high proportion of the night

Anyone know how to explain my mobile contract to me? I just cant sit down and work out when my minutes allowance goes from/to, as nothing seems to match with what I was told on the phone or at Carphone Warehouse, or with my direct debit date.

Should be a good week this wekk; I've got 2 lots of aerobics and 2 nights out for xmas, and dh has got a days hol, and finishes at 1pm one day as lieu.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 10/12/2007 09:15

I had that for last xmas Frizbe; the next one is out now. I cant say as I was fussed, but its prob because it took me omnths to read.

TEUCHywithallthetrimmings · 10/12/2007 09:26

Hullo all, just poppingin to make sure the thread comes up on 'threads I'm on'

CSWS...so you ttc again? Anyone else?

We are quietly thinking about it, in a non-committal 'if we don't talk about it it will happen easily and no I am not obsessed!' kinda way...you know?

However, DS has taken to wakening around 4-5am and coming into our bed which is really making me think about the whole sleeplessness thing again...

What the heck am I going to get DS for 2nd bday??

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 10/12/2007 09:33

MRM that sounds like a good week to me, I'm attempting gym tonight, as having hair done this am, before I attempt the xmas shopping..... waiting for dh to get back from the school run from hell, to take over the shop at mo! not busy this am, obviously or I wouldn't be on here! (also not trying to start/do anything, as off to hair dressers soonish!) Stuffing Plumberhasn'tcalledbackjust called back and is trying to fly by tonight at assess problem, so he can get part tomorrow am asap!
I got the book for last xmas too! after 4 months of intermittant reading I quite enjoyed it! in bursts so to speak I liked it enough to give the next one a read, it was certainly better than a few things I've read this year (which have been mainly quick read girlie spam)

Jas · 10/12/2007 18:53

I had to wake all three of mine up this morningI've done my best to keep ds awake all day, except for a short sleep in the car on the way back from Ikea, so I'm really hoping he goes to sleep early tonight.
DD2 is very tearful and tired, too, so we've had a quiet evening.

I'm going to make mince pies for the freezer in a bit.

Can't remember what everyone else had said.

mrm's rats in he loft. What a pita having to get at it from outside. I hope it is easily sorted.

Jas · 10/12/2007 18:53

Did the plumber turn up Frizbe?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 10/12/2007 20:06

Arrgghh! I've got major chafing on the backs of my knees! Wore a diff pair of jogging bottoms to aerobics tonight (got off freecycle, not worn before); they're joggers rather than lycra things, and they erubbed so badly as I was jumping around. Ouch.
at sleeping children Jas.

Emailed orange with a query about my new contract/billing system. The reply was 'sorry, we cant help you because you're not the registered user of that account'

Jas · 10/12/2007 20:17

Don't be yet. They aren't asleep. I'm just hoping.

Is you dh the registered user?
I've never had a contract. I'm a pay as you go girl.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 10/12/2007 20:19

Nope, its me. This is the first contract phone I've had since I was at uni. We then had to be economicla with the truth fr the credit check and do it in exdh's name but only use his inital, and his Mum's address, as she has the same inital!
Anyway, I did contract because of the unlimited texts really.
But the phone is def mine, so is the contract, so is th direct debit.

Jas · 10/12/2007 21:21

Dd2 is asleep. Don't ask about the others

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 10/12/2007 22:30

MRM canx the dd then either that or get on the phone to orange customer services asap me reckons, summat must have gone awry between carphone warehouse and them I'm with them direct and have never had a problem with them (bar the arse of getting my maiden name changed to married, so haven't bothered! got fed up of sending my marriage cert off everywhere)

Jas, plumber scheduled for 4pm tomorrow, fingers x'd it gets sorted quickly, tis frigging freezing!

Can report all girls presents brought today dreadding my cc bill though

CantSleighWontSleigh · 10/12/2007 22:58

Thought I'd better add a quick hello .
Been a fun but busy day today. Dd went to bed just after 8, but also didn't go to sleep until nearly 9! She seemed quite happy playing her music and yabbering away though .

Orange customer service are shit btw mrm. Thankfully I don't have to deal with them any more, as I switched to vodafone a few years ago. Good luck trying to ring them - used to take me an hour to get through .

Teuch - been ttc a year already, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for me! Chloe also trying, and dame (helen38 I think you knew her as) is pregnant. And did you know dewmeadow? She has had another already!

How was ds today Phoenix? Sounds like it might be teething.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 11/12/2007 08:41

Dd still asleep! Guess we're going to be late for toddler group. Am not waking her as she won't get a nap today (childminder afternoon), and I daren't risk showering as that's bound to disturb her. Will just have to while away some time on here .

OP posts:
CantSleighWontSleigh · 11/12/2007 09:10

Didn't get long surfing - just 5 mins or so. She still wasn't interested in breakfast even without having her milk first.

OP posts:
Jas · 11/12/2007 11:15

She must be ill!

DS didn't go sleep til almost 11. Up again 1-2am Very dodgy nappies. I'm not going to go to dd2s christmas show (She doesn't mind too much as she doesn't have a part, but I will have to make sure I go and listen to her sing in the choir later in the week.)

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 11/12/2007 14:08

Oh, how I wish my boyswere ill so I could have a lie in!

Got through to Orange strsaight away, and they thought I was insane, as it came up as me being the registered account holder on the computer, so they didnt know why that email had been sent Guess I have to still pay my direct debit then

Justtaken ds1 to nursery in a foul mood; he had a xmas party this morn, so had food there, so that was lunch, but he was hungry on the way to nursery. And he was pissed off because he had to leave his friends house and he was playing with those little magnetix things (whichare apparently much better than his own magneatos) Oh, and then I found one of the sticks in ds2's mouth at 1.30 while he was asleep It had been in there an hour, awake then asleep.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 11/12/2007 16:17

Not read it all (or taken it in more to the point)

Anyone know anything about treetwist???

CantSleighWontSleigh · 11/12/2007 20:25

No idea flame - sounds very odd.

How is ds Jas? Bug or teeth do you reckon?

Dd actually not ill. Just busy days, little/no naps, and no teething pain to wake her up! Asleep just after 8 today with no nap, so let's see how she does tonight.

Am currently feeling v stupid as can't work out how to get back off picture frames that arrived today . Dh is going to do a skype call shortly so that he can see it, as it's driving me mad!

Grr ar ds1 mrm. So he ate at party just before leaving for nursery, but was still hungry on the way? Nuts.

Picture sorted (by me, not dh).

Chloe55 · 11/12/2007 20:54

Hi everyone, soz been a bit absent from this thread for a few days. Just trying Osc down in his cotbed (without sides) for first night and so far, after 1.5hrs, he seems to be staying in it! He has spent most of the night stood at the babygate crying his eyes out. He napped in it this afternoon really really well so was hoping for an easy run of it tonight, silly me.

Jas · 11/12/2007 21:37

DS is still up in his cot (again)
No idea what the problem was. He has been ok since about ten this morning. I let him sleep, too, as keeping him awake all day is not making him sleep better at night, just making him more miserable.

Also not a clue about that tree thing Flame.

DP has arranged to have our carpets cleaned tomorrow He has finished all the really messy work but I'm not entirely sure it is worth it now.
He has a mate doing it at cheap rates so I'm not arguing though.

Chloe55 · 11/12/2007 21:41

What time does he get up in the am Jas? Ds has finally gone to sleep!

Jas · 11/12/2007 21:48

Up until this week, 6.30 - 7am. I've had o set he alarm to get up at 7.30 and even had to wake him up at 8 yesterday.

I'm going to try and buy something o go under the cot feet tomorrow, to try and stop him moving the co aroud the room as he is emptying the dds drawers, and getting all the playmobil out and into the cot too.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 11/12/2007 21:48

Yay for finishing messy work Jas. Maybe he's having them cleaned because he knows that I've got to post a full progress report for mrm, and he wants me to be impressed .

Hope Oscar sleeps through ok now Chloe.

PMSL at imagining your ds throwing himself around the room in his cot!
