Hi guys, just thought I'd pop in and say hello. Have my lecture in 5 mins so not around for very long. Needless to say, not read a thing Everyone ready for Christmas? Off to Bluewater tomorrow to finish off a bit of shopping, then straight to preschool to see ds in his Christmas sing song. If I don't get back on, have a wonderful Christmas everyone

I've finally got my mum's pressie bought today, a dressing gown, 2 pairs of pj's, slippers and some Burberry Tender Touch perfume. I ended up having to buy PIL pressie in town as well after Amazon let me down. I ordered them a Digital photo frame from there in November and have kept getting emails from them saying its been delayed should be here soon etc. then yesterday they said it wouldn't get here before christmas so i found some in stock at Argos so got one so that's all my christmas shopping done.

Nosy! Because she had to pay the carpet cleaner, and it seemed easier to lend her cash and have her do a bank transfer to give it back than for her to have to trek to the cashpoint in the cold.

DS went straight o sleep But at 7.30 when I wen up he had done a poo, so I had to wake him up. Amazingly he went straight back to sleep.

Mrm - I've just searched for what i put about ds touching the christmas tree. This is what i put

'Our christmas tree's been up for a while now and ds doesn't really touch it. He occasionally walks past it and punches a bauble as he goes but he isn't bad at all which has really surprised me.'

Great news on the bog boys bed. I think (touch wood) we have been pretty lucky so far, ds spent first night stood at the babygate for a couple of hours and the past 2 nights he has gone straight to sleep after I have read him a story - I was def not expecting such an easy transition. We are spending Christmas and boxing day at mums then inlaws, mum also has a cot bed which she is changing to the bed part but MIl has a really old, small cot which ds sleeps in, no idea how he will be in it now after getting used to a bed

I have a friend who would love the treegift thing but I would selfishly hate it

It is indeed quiet on here today. I've been out this evening for a drink with mummy friends from the village .

Dd been somewhat grumpy today though, after a week of being uber-cheerful. Think she was actually just tired, but only got a 25 min nap as I had booked her in for a haircut, so had to wake her.

Finally chosen a film to see tomorrow night, as August Rush isn't on locally.
