Jas · 22/12/2007 20:08

There is too much to trawl through it all.
I'm going to do the washing up instead

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 22/12/2007 20:31

will read thread in a bit, but answer me the following:

Am I being F unreasonable to think that whilst I am upstairs dealing with dd1 being sick, dh could F*** wait for me to settle her down again before he eats the bloomin ice cream that he was supposed to be getting for both of us, I mean really, did he not think I wanted any more of it????? I may well have my period, I may well be totally over reacting, (and have just cleaned 3 toilets in anger! wtf do they build new houses with so many toilets, its nearly one per frigin person, not req'd) but Why could he not wait!!!!!!

GRUMP.

Jas · 22/12/2007 20:37

Did he not leave you any at all? Definiely needs sending out for more!

Jas · 22/12/2007 20:38

(I'd love a house with three toilets...dd2 didn't mke i his evening, as dd was in our only toilet and she needeto go. My nice clean bathmat is back in the washing machine.)

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 22/12/2007 20:40

Ok have read thread.
at dishwasher going to take so long CSWS.....
MRM yikes at your water consumption

Jas at the plasterboard, our dh's are so alike

EPPM, dh and I were just talking about hair cutting/beard shaving off yesterday and we both said he'd better not do it, as dd2 would freak out and not know him! plus I think he'd look stupid without his beard

Flame, lol at both cheques at once.

Sooooo at nice party this afternoon, when dd1 throws up, sigh.....she'd briefly said her tummy hurt last night, then once this afternoon just before she threw up hoping it passes soon......and the rest of us don't get it.....
I'm off for a bath in a sec, as dh has as you can see annoyed me in passing!
we're both short on sleep, so its probably not helping, last night went like this.
dd1 tummy ache 10:30, dd2 up at 12:00, re settled into bed by 12:10....dd1 wet's bed at 2am......dd2 get's up for the day at 4am, 4.30am, 5am, 5.30am dh brings her into our bed, then gets up with her for the day at 6........I wish I knew what was waking her at 4am......

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 22/12/2007 20:42

Oh nooooo Jas for your bathmat! personally I think two toilets would do, you know, one in upstairs bathroom and one downstairs, it makes for far too much cleaning having a third!

Jas · 22/12/2007 20:49

Sleep deprived parents and a sick child, no wonder you got cross!

DP has been looking at old photos today and announced he is going to shave his hair off as it looks better short (it is currently about an inch long, and he looks like a serial killer when he shaves it)

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 22/12/2007 21:10

thought you said he looked like michael from prison break?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 21:18

csws, you're soo funny. I ordered the scuttle bug for ds2!! Either us or my Dad will give him that (the other one giving him the ikea elephant) and my Dad has agreed to get a few bits of clothes too.
Soooo close to getting the Sunflower Valley playset, 24.99.

Er, bargains for 2 2yr old boys... things I also considered were:
dinosaur playdoh set, 6.49 (got the teletubbies one for 2.99)
Happyland fire station 12.50 I think
I got the Happyland bakery for 7.49 to stash away
Duplo policeboat set (also includes a lighthouse), 9.99
Postman Pat ride-on, 14.99
Thomas draw and drive, 12.49 I think. This was seriously tempting!
ELC wooden trike and trailer, 15.00.

Jas · 22/12/2007 21:19

On a good day

He doesn't smile much and never when there is a camera in the room so all the pics I have of him he is scowling.

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 22/12/2007 21:22

, think I'm crawling off to bed here.....may just check active threads one more time!

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 21:24

Oh, but if its for next Sat, online only guarantees for 4th Jan now! There will be a sale instore (so far only half price clothes in ours, but they ship in toys specially for the sale!)
ELC had one or two good bits. How about electric guitar for £10? The planet protectors stuff is all on sale there too, but not huge reductions.

ooo, and got a half price Percy for ds1 to give ds2 for bday, £5 (Boots). He's very into the wooden train track.

Tell you what else was a good bargain; all he Underground Ernie stuff half price. 2 trains are 7.49, the big main track set is 19.99. Ooo,and duplo farm 24.99.

Can you tell I was excited?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 21:25

I only have pics of me scowling too!

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 21:25

Oooo, half price cyberman voice changing helmet, 14.99

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 21:42

Good stuff in Argos sale too. Mack with McQueens trailer rather than transporter, 8.99. Talkig Mater 9.99.

Boots has Race to the Mall for 14.99 for anyone girl-shopping!

Jas · 22/12/2007 21:48

You are the queen of sales

I only have pictures of me pulling really wierd faces. Amazingly dd2 is quite photogenic (don't know where she gets it from, dd1 does the scowl, too)

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 22/12/2007 22:10

Think how much I'd have spent on xmas if I didnt get it all in the sales! Am stocking up for the coming year...

CantSleighWontSleigh · 22/12/2007 22:44

Oh I like the wooden trike and trailer, but would buy it for a 1 yr old rather than a 2 year old I think. Same goes for PP van.

Oddly there seems to be things appearing there now that I didn't see before (despite looking at hundreds of products) .

Did you answer re Christmas Eve btw mrm - do you want feeding when you arrive, or will you have already eaten?

OP posts:
CantSleighWontSleigh · 22/12/2007 23:21

Hmmmm - have now managed to spend £100 on future presents from Boots - I blame you mrm!

Jas · 22/12/2007 23:24
Grin
EachPeachPearMum · 22/12/2007 23:29

Sorry to disappoint mrm- twas viggo, banderas, and clooney.

Anyone wanting to see the real thing- pics are on my profile now!

I am completely anti-photogenic (whatever that would be) dh says I look nice, but I manage to look terrible in every photo taken, so now just don't allow it.

csws and friz- hope dds are feeling better now...

jas-I hate shaved heads too- dh keeps threatening, but I keep telling him- 'oh no, its not that thin yet'- he believes me so far! Glad the plasterboard is out of the way- men just don't notice stuff like that though ...

CantSleighWontSleigh · 22/12/2007 23:36

That's quite a dramatic change EPPM!

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 22/12/2007 23:38

LOL! The before pic was on dec 1st, so he was even more beardy!

I did some captions, but I think the server ate them...

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 23/12/2007 09:16

Oh crappy crappy. I just didi a big posting, then ds2 slammed the pc drawer shut, the mouse and keyboard shot off tdwon the back, and I lost everything. So, the quick version is... I like long haired MrEPPM although short is very presentable. Many of you have good looking husbands; very odd to get such a high percentage on one group of people!!Er, well, 2 or 3, and one only if he's in costume

csws, we'll prob feed them at 5pm, then they can just have milk and a banana before bed. Is that ok? I just realised that xmas eve and xmas night are the only 2 chances I 've got to drink and risk having a headache next morning, as dh can look after the boys! All other days, he's up for work

Ds1 still likes to squash himself onto the wooden trike because he likes the trailer
What did you spend £100 on then? I spent £53, but that was on wipes and bed mats too, plus 12.49 of my Dads! And thats 2 other presseis for people too, or was it 3?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 23/12/2007 09:20

oh, and did you see the pink elc moped is half price too? £22. I was soo tempted!
