Friz, ds did that last night, I walked in his room he turned over to look at me said 'hiya' and was back asleep. The other night he was waving as i walked into his room

Yep lol. I'm off to bed now, i'm working at 10.30 again tomorrow but its my last day before christmas as i've dropped on this week been my Saturday, Monday off and it'll be an easy day as the volume of mail has finally reduced.

Hello!
Have spent all evening 'assisting' dh fitting the new element...he's having a little trouble getting it in ooh err missus....

He finally did it and fitted all the panels back on, when I noticed the one he'd left out was the new one! It had finally fitted because he'd put the old one back in!

Aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh

Anyway, another hour later, he still can't quite get it to fit, but he's had enough for one night (he's had enough? I'm sick and tired of it too.)
Didn't finish work until 6 tonight trying to get everything finished for the holidays, as I finish today for 2 weeks -YAY.
Am shattered now.

Friz- I have heard of other people's not working properly too, so..... gl!

I'd say there's about 0 chance of that Friz. After how much we spent fixing it around the time that dd was born, we would rather just get new than throw more money at one that is seemingly falling apart!

oh and also over due smear, was due when pg last time, forgot to do anyting about it and now pg again. Guess all i t really shows is that women are not very good at going for them?

Dd just had her first wee in a potty!
She took her pj trousers and her nappy off after she'd had her milk, then said wee wee. I sat her on the loo and she didn't do anything, but when we came downstairs I left her potty on the floor, and in the middle of playing she said wee wee, went over and sat on the potty, and got up when she'd finished!

oh lovely. Xmas in a house withthe aroma of potty training I dont mind doing the dishes; I like it actually, if there's someone else watching the boys, as it gives me a bit of thinking and contemplating time! BTW,whats the agenda for xmas eve? Dh thinks he'll finish work at 3.30pm (hurray!) so should be here by 5pm. If thats bad for you, I could always get him to get the train on his own later. He could get it from central actually; where does that line go to? kings x or somewhere? I'm supposed to be hving xmas eve lunch with a friend, but I'm sure I could change that to nip in early, then come back and finish getting ready to come to you!

Am not actually planning on potty training yet, unless she decides to keep up this morning's behaviour, so you should be safe mrm!

Christmas Eve - planning on going to Crib service at Church at 4, but it's normally only about half an hour, then dh will drop me and dd home and come straight down for you guys, so he should be with you about 5:30ish. Obv if you want picking up earlier without dh then we can do that instead though. Assuming we go with that plan, will you all want feeding when you arrive, or will you eat before he gets you?

mrm - any particular drinks I should be getting in for the boys? Will have milk obv (semi-skimmed - is that ok for Bram?), and water and some squash (blackcurrant). Do they drink juice - if so what kind?

The 5.30ish plan sounds fine I'll be ready, and dh might literally be in the door and out again!! Depends on traffic from work.
We're happy with whatever;we'll fit in.If you're really fussed, dh is a red wine creature, but very happy with random beer too. Ds1 thinks he likes apple juice best, but today decided orange is an exciting novelty, and he knows squash is for special occasions! They like milk in the evening; I'll bring their own sippy cups
We do have a technical hitch though. Ds1 thinks sleepovers make you sick Our neighbour had a friend over, who was sick, therefore thats what happens if you sleep at a friends house! Ds1 is worried about New Year because we've used the word 'sleepover' for it. For xmas, he just thinks he's 'going to pippa's for the night', so I'm hoping he doesnt connect the two!!

He's very happy today, because he wanted to spend this morning learning about fleas, and had found out that baby fleas eat adults poo. Its obviously the funniest thing known to man (or boy).
I have to keep him occupied till 10th January.arrghhh!!!!!

Dh had coffee with dl yesterday. He's 'very sorry' blah blah blah blah.
