Bumper, I work for the Health Protection Agency, so semi-government type thing.

That woman did well not to be thumped, I reckon. Glad you had a better day after that though. We went to "stay & chat" this afternoon. Wasn't sure I could be arsed, but glad I did as met a nice woman who lives in the next street, and may have persuaded a couple of the mums to come to the library for Rhyme Time tomorrow morning.

Sputnik · 25/10/2007 17:04

hope you're right aboutthe 15-19 weeksthing Bumper, been trying for 1/2an hour to get Baby Sputnik to sleep, clearly tired butno go. he is up again watching Asterix with his big sis

DKMA · 25/10/2007 17:07

Hi Bumper

Glad your day ended well!
I put Ed in his own room at 5.5 weeks - but I used (and still do) a cctv monitor and an angel mat. Being able to watch him on the tv confirmed that it was us that had the biggest worry about his new environment - not him! He was smiling away there in the dark happy as larry!
I love the cctv monitor and would recommend it to anyone.
Oh and yes we both started to sleep better - he started to sleep from midnight to 7pm very shortly after that!

milkyJammy · 25/10/2007 17:09

what's an angel mat?

midnight to 7pm ! That is a lot of sleep

DKMA · 25/10/2007 17:16

Oh bugger - I meant 7am!
Although last night he went 18.45 to 08.15 - which was amazing! He was flat out!!!
this is an angel mat.

justbeme · 25/10/2007 17:22

Hi all and welcome back DKMA!
It really is me! Ellie's gone "home" now , I wont see her till the weekend after next. (Didnt think for a minute when she was 15 weeks old that she wouldnt end up living with me
Thanks for your messages to her, I think it made her day!!

milkyJammy · 25/10/2007 17:22

Thank you DKMA, I never knew those things existed. Amazing what you can get these days. Good grief, that's what my Dad says, am I turning into an old man?

Thingsthatgobumperinthenight · 25/10/2007 17:24

the wonder week book is really good but out of print. i borrowed it from bfing group but never got a chance to read it. but i have a photocopy of the stormy/sunny week schedule that i will get dh to scan and i will email anyone who wants it. it's not as helpful as the book which tells you how to deal with the bad weeks, but it helps you project responsibility ("i'm not a bad mum - it's a wonder week")

Thingsthatgobumperinthenight · 25/10/2007 17:31

ooh no need, check this out.

Thingsthatgobumperinthenight · 25/10/2007 17:39

Oh JBM, it must be so sad not living with DD. Do you get on better for not living together?

justbeme · 25/10/2007 18:02

Bumper, We dont have a relationship problem tbh, she just worships her Dad and probably now doesnt want to let him down.

Whats happened to MN??? the types all gone black and when i signed back in, although i clicked on my last post, it took me to last nights posts and said i was reading in "book style???" any 1 else have this?

justbeme · 25/10/2007 18:03

oh its ok now - weird

milkyJammy · 25/10/2007 18:04

I had that too jbm and it wouldn't flip the display and wouldn't let me add a message

milkyJammy · 25/10/2007 18:05

I suspect a new look was being tried then taken off quickly because it didn't work

justbeme · 25/10/2007 18:14

foxystein · 25/10/2007 18:44
