Hey Everyone - greetings from Down Under. Popped into DH's work to borrow his computer for 10 mins,no internet of my own as yet. Just time to say g'day as we are going away for weekend. Beach here I come . Will try to catch up later - hope can find new threads.

HellHathNoFury · 26/10/2007 07:51

JBM You are right, the little witch has been busy hasn't she? Busy ripping people off and not posting anyway. I am still £40 out of pocket with her but at least I was able to recover a bit of it.

Morning all!

how is everyone today?

milkyJammy · 26/10/2007 08:39

We had another sleep through until 5am {hsmile] DH commented that the 2 times she HAS done it recently has been when she hasn't finished her bedtime feed, so thinks we should give her less, as less milk seems to make her sleep. I reckon it's MUCH more likely to be that it she doesn't want to finish her milk it's a sign that she's really full, and that's why she sleeps better.

HellHathNoFury · 26/10/2007 08:50

Jammy. DH's are lovely but usually wrong. your plan sounds much more likely.

milkyJammy · 26/10/2007 08:59

Thank you Fury

annobal · 26/10/2007 09:12

Hi everyone, sorry for my long absence. My parents left yesterday so we're all a bit .

That said, I can now resume normal life!

Is anyone else out there experiencing this too... DS3 is now almost 16 weeks and for the last week has been waking twice in the night as well as being ravenous at 7am.

I'm still breastfeeding and haven't supplemented as yet, he's not too keen to take a bottle. I changed to feeding from both breasts yesterday and it doesn't seem to make much difference. I also seem to have enough milk. Any ideas [pleading emoticon]

HellHathNoFury · 26/10/2007 09:15

annobal I think we are all having the same problem.

DS has started waking at night, and if you were to read back it seems to be the most common complaint right now!

Clarabumps · 26/10/2007 09:17

hello there..was readin your dummy conversation the other day- it seem you are all reading my mind. DS has started this incessant waking in the middle of the night looking for his dummy and trying to get back to sleep. Have been at my wits end and downloaded a sleep program from sleepsense and they sugguest a spell of controlled crying. I tried this for a night totally removing the dummy (however ds fell asleep on the bottle) and he slept the whole night 8-8!!! felt like i'd won the lottery-but then i relented yesterday and gave him it. and he slept rubbish again. DO you think i should just persevere with the crying thing?it's just so traumatic- more so for me than him. sorry this is soooo long!!

milkyJammy · 26/10/2007 09:19

Hi annobal, good to see you back.

Agree that more waking seems v common. We're getting a LOT of nights recently waking at 1 or 2am, previously it had been 4 or 5. Seems to be par for the course I'm afraid.

Sputnik · 26/10/2007 09:20

Hi Annobal, I am having exactly that problem, as Fury says so are loads of us. What happened to ourlovely sleeping baabies?

milkyJammy · 26/10/2007 09:21

Hi too clara, sorry not sure what to advise

annobal · 26/10/2007 09:21

Hi HHNF. How is work going? Have to admit that I haven't read back at all. Might save that for when these T&G are not quite so clingy.

I guess it is good to know that we're all in the same boat. Is there any magical remedy? I don't remember it being this bad with the other 2 but they were both weaned earlier...

I've got to go and drop my washing at the laundrette as the washing machine still isn't fixed but will call in later.
