Wonderful news, Leaky! I'm so happy for your family.

Thanks for the link, oooggs. I think that may be the way forward for pasty success.

AuntieMeemz · 19/10/2007 20:49

Kisses all round from us!

AuntieMeemz · 19/10/2007 20:50

oh yummmy pasties, oh yum, yum...

AuntieMeemz · 19/10/2007 20:52

oh, just wanted to let you know, I've chosen me re-usables and joined the 'other side' I have left disposables behind.

There is just something about using re-usables isn' there? I love the Mothercare 'Smart Nappy' system, but also the bamboo ones too. Of course, I have to have a bag of eco disposables (Moltex) just for those days when it is all too much.

Eddas · 19/10/2007 20:52

WOW Fantastic news leaky, you must all be so pleased that she's home

Sexonlegs · 19/10/2007 21:05

Oh Leaky, I am crying with joy at Eve being home. What a bloody relief for you all. I am thrilled for you all. xx

Liath, what about Ginsters pasties? They are delish. Also, my Uncle runs a shop in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, and I am sure he has a website where you can order stuff.

Mammyjo, I am really sorry to hear things with dh are shit again. I am sure you have, but have you talked to him about how you are feeling? I find dh needs a kick up the arse every now and then. Come and rant on here as much as you want. Men - who'd have 'em? I think you should try what auntymeenz' friend did!

All ok here. 2 sleeping dd's, and have had a glass of red. Burnt hand from last Friday is looking awful though and really itchy. New skin is though in places and is so incredibly tender.

Hop everyone is ok. xx

Sexonlegs · 19/10/2007 21:07

Apologies, I meant Eva. I have just emailed a friend called Eve - hence the error. x

SharpMolarBear · 19/10/2007 21:16

SharpMolarBear · 19/10/2007 21:47

We are ahead of our time!

Sexonlegs · 19/10/2007 21:51

Sexonlegs · 19/10/2007 21:55

Right, off to bed. Think we are in for a pants night. B just woke up all sweaty and croaky and incoherent again. So, night ladies - see you in the a.m.

SharpMolarBear · 19/10/2007 21:59

oooggs, I was surprised to learn from DH that mine are large, I always thought they were quite small

SharpMolarBear · 19/10/2007 22:00

Goodnight SOL, hope you don't have too bad a night
I'm off too, good night everyone

elkiedee · 19/10/2007 22:04

Sorry to hear that SOL, hope you manage to get some sleep.

NorthernLurker · 19/10/2007 23:02

How wonderful to hear that Eva is home with mum and dad - great news.

Pesha - hoping your dog is on the mend soon.

CD - sorry things are feeling grim today. You are all such lovely mummies - I can tell that without having ever met any of you - but it is hard going sometimes isn't it.

I rang estate agent this morning - he said things very slow but hoping they would pick up in the New Year - I managed to suppress my scream

Then - heard from parent of one of dd2's friends that the nursery she went to - and where B was going to go (had her name down since this time last year - determined to be organised you see)is CLOSING. Scream not so suppressed this time. I rang them instantly and found that they are closing (sob) but that we can definately have a place at one of the other nurseries in the group. Now in some ways this is quite positive as there are two in the area we are hoping to move to (grrrh) and it would be a shorter journey for me and the girls. BUT - I've no idea what they are like - have picked the one whose location is better and am going on Monday to look round. I've also called another nursery which is pretty handy (and which dd1 went to once upon a time) and am going to look round there as well. So I feel like I have some options - good job as finding a baby place with just six months notice is nigh on impossible around here.

Feel very upset about it though - I was quite happy to leave her at the old nursery and now the whole thing is up in the air and I feel I will be abandoning her

Oh dear - post ran away with me a bit - see you tomorrow
