SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 08:49

I'm off to register T at nursery and maybe go to tesco, so exciting stuff here too
He was OK thanks, I came and slept down here with him, a bit unsettled, but it doesn't bother me when I'm right there. Keep tryng to ge him to open his mouth to see if he's got a tooth, but he won't

Eddas · 25/10/2007 08:52

SMB, it's crap when you don't know why they are whingy. Give him a pinch, that'll make him open his mouth

I am joking BTW

I just checked my bank and there's a credit from my old mortgage company, and not a too small one not quite sure what that's all about. I suppose I have to find out and then give it back if it's wrong, don't want to though as we could really do with it Maybe i'll get a letter in the post about it Seems a bit weird.

DS is still asleep I think i'd better wake him it's been nearly 14 hours now but he did wake on and off last night so don't be too

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 08:56

Morining all.SMB hope T ok for you today.Am going to try and keep on top of threads so i can be more supportive.Good luck with hv Elkie...we haven't seen one of about 3 months.DS1 is poorly we were having a halloween party tomorrow which i have had tp postpone and M due his 3rd set of jabs which are overdueso have delayed them too.Hope you all have a lovely day.

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 08:57

ooh i hope it's right - just in time for Christmas!
My baby smells like one of those giant strawberry sweets

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 08:58

hi dooby, what's up with ds1?? Hope he's ok

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 09:02

I think it's tonsilitis. He is hardly ever ill so great timing.I know he must be feeling rough cos he is sitting still for long periods of timeM whingy too...hope he gets a tooth soon.and he keeps dropping his dummy, toys etc which gets abit boring after the billionth dropOff to give the magical calpol.LOVE that T smells like a big strawberry

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 09:17

Oh dear, hope he's better soon.
I hate the smell, and the stickiness!!
I recently bought t a play nest, fantastic because now when he drops stuff it's still within his reach.

Eddas · 25/10/2007 09:18

not nice when they're ill is it dooby. I used to get tonsilitis a lot when i was little.

just checked back on my account and in feb we paid the old mortgage compant twice, once on 2nd then on 28th. the 2nd is the same amount as the credit we have just received so maybe it is right. surely they will write to tell us?

ooooo i really hope it's right.

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 09:50

OOO i HOPE IT IS RIGHT EDDAS...just before christmas too.He asked if he would need to have his tonsils out! It's the first time he has had it so think he is being a tad dramatic...don't know where he gets that from.A playnest ounds like a good idea. How much are they roughly?

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 10:02

got mine from ebay £4.48 inc p&p!!
It's not like new, is a bit grubby (even after a wash) and loose threads i've had to snip, but for that price it doesn't matter!

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 10:05

Agree with you there.I shall have a look.Thanks.M has slept for a whole 30 mins...and is now snuffling.Musn't complain...he has kindly given me time to feed dogs, get dressed, have toast and come on here.

Eddas · 25/10/2007 10:39

re the credit in my bank, i don't think it's right as i've just got the paperwork out and I had forgotten that Jan's payment got rejected so I paid a bit late, 2 days or something hence why there's 2 payments in feb. I am gonna have to ring them aren't I. Don't see why i should as it's their error, but I can't keep the money. oh fgs i have enough to do without worrying about this

Eddas · 25/10/2007 11:01

Thread Title ......

April 2007: Who will be first to crawl to the Whispa tin?????

Sexonlegs · 25/10/2007 11:54

I like that title CD!

Why is K not hungry?????? She has only had 4 ounces of milk for lunch and no solid. Seems fine in herself. I feel v frustrated.

B is driving me effing mad today with 101 questions and wanting me to look at her the whole time.

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 12:04

Good title CD!
I meant to say Pinions, was pmsl at you being Dolly Parton

NorthernLurker · 25/10/2007 12:17

CD - am embarassed to say am eating a wispa as I catch up and have just spluttered crumbs all over the desk when I read the title!

Pinions · 25/10/2007 12:51

SMB lol. So much so that the other night in Morrisons a lady nearly KNOCKED HERSELF OUT when she almost walked into my left booby and then she literally stared at me in disbelief as it was so large god how embarrassing. It was hanging right over my bra and I could almost see it pulsating.

BTW am loving the halloween smileys, what did they have against the blue and green one though???

Eddas drinks on you then , fab when you get a little "surprise" packet.

Dippy you norty woman getting T back onto his bobby Xmas most definitely came very early for him last night and me for that matter

SOL K not hungry. Don't forget they can go through fits and starts ranging between very hungry to not really interested. Either that or is she recovering from a cold I think you said, that would make her less interested in food. Also when they are small and are bunged up sth kicks in which "tells" them not to eat, as they cannot breathe very easily at the same time, and they go into panic mode apparently.

NL Lovin the Wispa talk, but still being good here, more's the pity cos I lurve MI CHOCOLATE!

Thread title. "You're twisting my pumpkins man", Happy Mondays stylee.

Right T crying as usual, am off, bye peeps x

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 12:53

Pinions
I think they thought it was a bit flippant to have a hat on the one, as you might use that on sme sensitive threads. Not sure about the one though

elkiedee · 25/10/2007 13:26

Afternoon all

Eddas, great news about the mortgage refund. I would have posted earlier to say I thought it might be real, but didn't have time. When I remortgaged 3 years ago they took my direct debit as normal and then refunded a month.

HV visit was ok, D now weighs over 20 lb, something I'd suspected but it's 3 months since he was weighed! Very big for his age but he seems to me like he's very long and quite a strong sturdy build so I'm hoping he's in proportion as I was told he was in July. She's keen that I start weaning him but I was sort of expecting that. I think she was reassured that I was better than in the summer.

I just had a discussion with a baby massage tutor about whether Danny had already passed the right stage or not. She's invited me to go to the first lesson and she'll refund me for the other 3 if he crawls away or hates it.

LOL at the thread suggestion titles - may have to look for a Wispa on my way to Wood Green this afternoon.
