I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

Morning ladies
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Just looking at some of your posts...nursery fees are WAY too high aren't they? We were paying nearly £700 a month for 3 days only when I went back to work after DS. MIL took him on Thursdays and I had Fridays off. Even if I wanted to go back to work, not sure if we can afford childcare for 2.

Now, just need to get DH to pay me a wage for being at home.

Must go do some housewifely duties - spk later.
Els x

Join here and just post on the threads to test stuff when they come up. I've posted on a couple of threads and this is the first one I've been picked for. I think the active thread atm is to test Bambinex nappies.

dogtanian · 15/10/2007 10:45

Just don't look at the actual forum on that site though. It is VERY hunnihunnihunhun and has lots of people with babies called Jayden and Keane!

mumof4aceboys · 15/10/2007 10:52

hi ladies - havent looked in at you all for ages. You & you LO's all ok? Guess who's expecting twins at Christmas!!

frumpyflabbyfurryfarfromfoxy · 15/10/2007 10:54

OMG! Fantastic news! Congratulations to you. WOW!

dogtanian · 15/10/2007 10:56

Wow! That's great! Hope it's all going well.

frumpyflabbyfurryfarfromfoxy · 15/10/2007 10:57

I want one of these

MO4, I am a bit !!!! Do you know what you are having?

Elsbells · 15/10/2007 10:59

Hey Bumper
Just read your post in Feeding.

Hope this makes you feel better but my friend and I had issues BF our 2nd DC's recently and both our DH's were supportive BUT when it got really tough they would both say to us "but this is you CHOICE to BF". I think it is their way of saying they are not putting the pressure on us on how we want to feed. They are happy if we are all happy whatever we decide,

Does that make sense?

I am sure you will get through it fine. I am so envious that you have managed to do it for so long. You should be proud.

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 11:02

MO4 Congratulations!

mumof4aceboys · 15/10/2007 11:02

Yes - im having identical girls this time -thank god - can't manage any more lads! Actually becaue the oldest and youngest have just turned 7 & 1 last week not sure I can manage any more at all but theres bugger all I can do about it! DH had the snip at around the time I would have caught on so obviously not quite carefull enough! Anyway luckily we have 6 beds so theres enough room. Gonna have em by section and get them to take my bits away to make sure there really is no more!

frumpyflabbyfurryfarfromfoxy · 15/10/2007 11:05

Wise words Els.

Is anyone else taking the Fenugreek supplement still?

And if so, anyone else getting side-effects?

I constantly wiff of the stuff, and so does my bedroom.

LO farts like a trooper and they stink to high Heaven. BUT her posseting has almost completely stopped, or is that co-incidence as she has just turned 13 weeks?

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 11:07

my pretend hotmail address is broken now too. I give up

frumpyflabbyfurryfarfromfoxy · 15/10/2007 11:09

That's awesome! How do you feel about having girls? Some people might be a bit nervous, being used to boys.

Its lovely as its a different experience, they are different by nature so its quite fascinating after boys.

I will most definately be looking out for you and how you get on with 6 (not that I'm thinking ahead or anything ... )

(I am strangely really over-excited for you BTW)

Seansgirlnotblondegirl · 15/10/2007 11:14

Mumof4 thats great!! (faints at the thought of more than two kids herself)

I must take note though - DH had snip too back in august so must be careful!!!

mumof4aceboys · 15/10/2007 11:16

Not really that worried about the twins being girls. More worried about getting them muddled up. Also, DH has booked us a romantic 4 day break over valentines in feb to Rome & more worried about my mother coping with 6 kids! - crikey when I say 6 kids that sounds awful doesnt it. Alot of people seem really excited for us - almost jeering us on like we are in the stocks or somthing! How people like to see others suffer eh

IamDaisy · 15/10/2007 11:19

Wow mumof4.....or should that be mumofnearly6.

Big congratulations to you. but, six...

nice to hear from you!

can't catch up as DD just woken and is shouting rather loudly.

she was awake twice in the night and has been hungry all day. I'm meeting with my HV later to discuss early weaning!

mumof4aceboys · 15/10/2007 11:21

ALso - keep having nightmares that they will come out a different colour to us!! Around that time I went on a girls night out and got quite legless and the next day mu DH was aving a go and said that in my state any man cud of got hold of me! obnviously they didnt but its planted a seed im my mind!

annobal · 15/10/2007 11:23

annobal · 15/10/2007 11:27

Hi Foxy - I'm still having my tea concoction which includes Fenugreek. Is that what is causing all my smelly trumps I just thought it was all the chocolate I'd been eating

annobal · 15/10/2007 11:28

Twin girls - wow! Methinks they will be very well looked after with their 4 big brothers.

TALLULAHSPELL · 15/10/2007 11:34

Morning All,

WOW Mof4 - congrats. Am in awe.

What's going on with my DD? She has been sleeping thru (8:30/9 till 7/8ish) for weeks on end. Just started waking earlier 5/6 ish last week & last night woke @ 3:30 for feed then up @ 7:30?. Was defo hungry - fed like a wee demon. Wasn't thinking of starting weaning her for ages yet -just 17 weeks now- but can't bear to go back to night feeds.

frumpyflabbyfurryfarfromfoxy · 15/10/2007 11:38

Annobal, that's a point! I've upped my chocolate intake of late too

How are you? How are your folks? are they still with you? And how are your lovely boys? Would love to see you all again.

andiem · 15/10/2007 11:39
