I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

OP posts:

Thanks Sputnik, feeling less confused now!

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 09:36

I am interested in montessori but need more info.

Bumperlicious · 15/10/2007 09:37

hey annobal. 3k?

Sputnik · 15/10/2007 09:37

at price of nursery.
Do they use real gold in the glitter glue or something?

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 09:37

we have a few montessori schools locally. I think I will look them up. And talk to DH about it!

Bumperlicious · 15/10/2007 09:39

At this rate i might have to send dd to the local old folks home. babies make great therapy for lonely grandmas and free childcare for me!

annobal · 15/10/2007 09:40

I was kind of interested in montessori - when I realised I could save £2k a term at least I was very interested

Info here

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 09:46

My nursery costs over £1000 a month... is montessori cheaper then?

annobal · 15/10/2007 09:47

That was pretty much my reaction too! I was expecting a large bill but that was much larger than I was expecting.

Sputnik · 15/10/2007 09:47

Don'thave your e-mail fury. Can you put it here or e-mail me with it?

annobal · 15/10/2007 09:49

Montessori fees are £975 per term - if child is over 3, you can get a govt subsidy (available to all if your nursery has 'opted in') that would reduce it to £350. A little more palatable me thinks...

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 09:50

Sputnik... if you go to my FB profile my email is on that

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 09:51

That's a big difference Annobal... will need to look into this methinks.

Sadly I can't at work, grrr!

Sputnik · 15/10/2007 09:59

That's what I did F, it's not there

andiem · 15/10/2007 10:00

montessoris will only take them from 2ish I thought though?

annobal · 15/10/2007 10:01

You're right Andie - the one I want to send T&G to will only take the term they turn 3.

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 10:02

yes our local one is from 2 onwards.
So I have time to look later! I just read the ofsted report for it - outstanding in every respect...I am liking it more!

Hmm Sputnik, odd... not keen to post on public forums, gimme a mo

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 10:04

weird, it says it's public.

Anyway... send it to this one, I don't mind this one being public!

HellHathNoFury · 15/10/2007 10:18

[email protected]

failing that try [email protected]

Bumperlicious · 15/10/2007 10:25

LOL at ria's DM. when moving house the other day I warned my mum not to look in my fridge and she said "I already have" and gave me a stern look because it was disgusting! I'm a house slut

dogtanian · 15/10/2007 10:34

HURRAH! Just been picked to test one of these!

All this talk of nurseries is making me ! I will cry so much when my dd goes off to the big bad world! She is going to nursery at the school my mum teaches at, so at least grandma will be there to look after her!

Bumperlicious · 15/10/2007 10:36

how did you get to do that holly?
