I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

Yes Jammy spill - where? is it somewhere exotic? I will be if it is we go to sunny St Ives on Friday for half term week. (are we mad???)

milkyJammy · 14/10/2007 21:16

here

fairyfay · 14/10/2007 21:17

Thanks for asking him Norty, 'tis driving me potty!

dogtanian · 14/10/2007 21:17

ROFL SG!! I am NOT secretly shagging any famous peeps atm! In fact my dp doesn't even get any action, poor boy!

Derlor, the engineers will never actually tell you any goss about the famous peeps, I always try though! They sometimes let out funny stories, but won't say who they are about! Bastards!

My dd does the baby thing too. Just before she went to bed she spread a pot of Sudocreme all over the sofa !

upsyderlor · 14/10/2007 21:17

oh you lucky things, we tried to get away this week (our school 1/2 term) for a few days but couldn't get a cheep deal anywhere for 5 people

Blondenomore · 14/10/2007 21:18

Feel free to call me SG Fairyfay - its a lot less typing, I feel better now its not just my DD. And I agree to be fair she does adore DS too, and is very thoughtful she just can't wait for him to be here bezzy mate so they can a pair of hooligans together! Right Topgear finished am off to find something to watch. See you xxx

Blondenomore · 14/10/2007 21:20

Niiiccccceeeee! Jammy, give us a report when you come back we'd be interested in trying it!!

upsyderlor · 14/10/2007 21:22

Jammy that looks lurvley - enjoy x
Flip holly thats good confidentiality from them, i have worked with nurses and doctors who happilly tell all about the famous folk they've dealt with, despite STRICT confidentiality rules

IamDaisy · 14/10/2007 21:22

jbm, there is a seller on ebay does junior joy velcro wraps; four for a tenner on buy it now. I don't know what they are like though or who the seller is. Try "oaks nappies"??

bloody hell it's chatty tonight, I can't keep up.

i caught DS giving babyboo some raw brocolli this evening....about an hour after DH and I had explianed to him that only grown ups are to give her any food as she is very little and can choke. I'm terrified to leave him alone with her, although he is just trying to be helpful

fairyfay · 14/10/2007 21:23

Jammy - it looks lurvely! I went to uni in Bath and it's a lovely part of the country. Have a great time

Blondenomore · 14/10/2007 21:24

This is we we're off to - not been to this apartment before but suited the budget www.chyreenecourt.co.uk

LittleMissNorty · 14/10/2007 21:26

There is NO excuse for poor confidentiality...I work in NHS and test women who live up my road....in my town....friends mum's etc but its just NOT to be discussed...Sorry I'm really funny about confidentiality!

MJ - looks fab - have a lovely time and hope journey is good...presumably you will miss the rush hour?

Blondenomore · 14/10/2007 21:26

Daisy, that is scary I am constantly worried about things like that DH thinks I'm mad!

dogtanian · 14/10/2007 21:27

IKWYM daisy. The other day I went out to put the washing on the line and I came back and dd had completely covered ds in a blanket. It was right over his face! I do worry about leaving them alone together, but sometimes you just have to.

LittleMissNorty · 14/10/2007 21:27

Oh SG looks great..I love the West country but a nightmare drive! Where are you driving from?

IamDaisy · 14/10/2007 21:28

delor, natty was moving house again, as their landlord was shit and wasn't repairing broken things and the cooker was dangerous and there was a broken window and damp. She said she'd be back when she got her internet sorted out.

I hope we see her again soon. I've got her mobile number so will send a text to say Hi from everyone

four more sleeps till my holiday got our euros yesterday, god it looks like monopoly money.

fairyfay · 14/10/2007 21:28

SG, that looks lovely too. I am very of all these holidays

LittleMissNorty · 14/10/2007 21:29

How long is the ferry journey Daisy? (If I was in your shoes I'd drive all the way down here and get on the train

milkyJammy · 14/10/2007 21:30

Looks good BNM. Hope we both get nice weather though, makes such a difference. We're "owed" a good holiday as our last one, to Holland in May - the pre-baby last holiday as a couple, chance to relax, holiday turned out to be a complete disaster with the car breaking down once on the way there and then cracking the radiator on day 2. This ended up with us paying a fortune in car repairs because Direct Line insurance was crap, plus £100+ in phone calls getting the repair arranged. We also got a poxy little car that no 7+ month pregnant woman could sit in comfortably for more than 5 mins while our car was in the garage and it rained all week

upsyderlor · 14/10/2007 21:31

LMN i totally agree, i am a real stickler about it too.
SG that looks like bloody paradise, hope you get great weather.
Daisy i worry about that too with DD1, she just wants to "help", she also likes to play boo with DD2 by covering her face - we have had words but it still concerns me.

Seansgirlnotblondegirl · 14/10/2007 21:32

Charlie, Birmingham area. But stopping overnight at Taunton to break up journey as it was about 5ish hours last time and I don't think DS will put up with that......

Seansgirlnotblondegirl · 14/10/2007 21:33

Night night all xx

milkyJammy · 14/10/2007 21:33

I took DD up to my parents about 10 days ago SG/BNM, a 4 hour drive. Was dreading it, but she was very very good, slept most of the way and we only need one (hour long admittedly) stop.

IamDaisy · 14/10/2007 21:33

SG that looks fab, and even high season isn't too horrendous. We looked at devon and cornwall for the school hols this year and it was bloody extortionate.

Jammy, your's looks really lovely too, enjoy the peace and tranquility. That beanie hat is lovely....I'd be tempted, but I don't suit beanies at all. that looks like a nice website though, and they are in Leeds!

LittleMissNorty · 14/10/2007 21:36

Good idea to stop over SG....although I can never do that cos I usually have a labrador in the boot!
